Free drinks for half hour every night. Close to beach, social atmosphere.

Showers in the rooms were rubbish. Only two toilets and showers in same cubicles for 20 people dorm.

Arrived in the late evening and was greeted with a lively vibe at the bar. The boat party was definitely worth every penny. I found the boats better than the ones that they use in El Nido + the drinks are unlimited! I also loved all of the stops in the tour. PAUL WAS AN AMAZING PARTY HOST. HE IS SO NICE AND KNEW HOW TO KEEP THE PARTY ALIVE.

very cute hostel in a nice location with exceptionally friendly and social staff (especially Tom who made the boat tour unforgettable and Luisa who was always down for a nice chat and made the parties so much fun)

A social hostel with good vibes, very much suited if you want a party. Beds are also much larger than usual.

Only 1 or 2 showers per dorm room of 15/20 people, which aren’t great facilities. Difficult to sleep as the music stays on late and backs onto the dorm rooms.

Very accessible, great music at night. Boat party is obviously a never-miss. Had a great time meeting fellow travellers. Just a 30 second walk to the beach. Food is great too. They serve good coffee (ask for French press). Beds are comfy. No light inside the beds though so bring your own. Bedside fans need type A USB cord which initially presented a problem because all my cords were type C.

Rock floor at the shower area was a bit difficult. I got a small cut on my foot.

poorly maintained bathrooms that smell. broken shower head on indoor bathroom. no lights in the bunks. overpriced food and laundry service.

Great party vibes! Staff were lovely and accomodating. The boat party was lots of fun and there was unlimited alcohol so value for money! (I believe it was 1800p?)

The dorms are quite large and the aircon doesn’t reach all of the beds. I stayed on the top bunk in the middle of the room and genuinely thought I was going to pass out. Even with the curtain open there just isn’t enough airflow.

I Wish there was a comfy couch guests can lounge. The chairs in the resto is not comfortable for long siting and chiling. But over all it was a nice place to stay and eat. I have a very goooood sleep at my bunk bed.

The food is so delicious. And the location of coco rico hostel is very impressive. You can relax here as long as you want.

One thing that for sure that I didnt want is I'm sad to leave this beautiful place.

You can just meet there tons of friends, really nice hostels. Keep in mind that they have nice party every night till 22h30

Cocorico is definitely a fun hostel to stay at! The dorms are clean and the beds are big! Two pillows and a fleeced blanket were a plus. The staff are really friendly and the owners are nice. Free drinks between 7pm-7:30pm were great and the atmosphere was fun every night

showers were cold but no unusual for the Philippines. The food wasn’t the best and quite expensive. I ate at other places in Port Barton that were cheaper and better quality.

The place is really for solo travelers. They place is comfortable to stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They offer activities to make your stay as a solo traveler worthwhile.

None with the property. But bring enough cash because there are limited ATMs in the town.

Since the first moment they made me feel welcome! The attention of the staff and the owners (always available) was super kind. Beds are very comfortable and large size. At 7 is open bar and a very fun atmosphere is created! Also the specials cocktails of the house are Incredible! For people who travel alone it's perfect cuz quickly you make new friends. Live music gave it a very special touch, they even have a DJ. I had the pleasure to go to the Boat Party which includes beautiful islands, turtle point, delicious lunch and lots of fun!!! Thanks to all the CocoRico Team for making my stay in Port Barton amazing!!!

Such a fun social hostel! Staff were very friendly. Free drinks in the bar every night were fun. Live music at the weekends, great vibes in the hostel. Food was also good and beds were clean and comfortable. Booze cruise was 10/10. Best day! Thank you to Albert, the best tour guide. Definitely do the booze cruise daytrip when you stay here.

great location, right beside the beach! staff are excellent… Boat parties are brilliant! The dorms are comfortable, I would highly recommend staying here… Hopefully one day I can experience CocoRico again.

Had a bad experience with some of the other guests in the dorm, but it wasn’t anything to do with the actual hostel itself!

Everything was a 10 at the hostel! The food, the staff, the beds. Lovely atmosphere. Colo was also very helpfull with sending my passport when I forgot it.

Great social hostel, everyone on the island flocks here for the 7 o’clock free drinks. easy to meet other travellers with everyone playing jenga, beer pong, cards etc. Great boat party and really sound owners. Music is turned off just before 11 so if you wanna get some good kip it’s not too bad either.

didn’t get a light or fan in the bunk. Although the room was pretty cool, had to use my phone light constantly.

very small beds, too cold rooms, the air-con was way too low, toilet and shower were not clean

The property is in a great location. The beds are comfortable and spacious, they are also ‘pod style’ which I always like.

There was only one bathroom inside and two outside for 18 people sharing one room, every other person at the property also had to use these bathrooms so it was extremely busy especially at night when there were many many people at the bar. People who weren’t even staying in the dormitory would come in to use the bathroom that we did not appreciate. The bathrooms also were always untidy & not very clean. They flooded and held dirty water in the shower. You had to stand with one foot in the shower to use the skin. The security guard at night was an absolute creep. My partner was up late one night watching a football match (UK time) and witnessed him going into the dormitory and opening girls curtains. He was also steaming drunk whilst working and this is unacceptable. On the same night a girl was sleep walking and came outside with no trousers on, my boyfriend helped her back to her room but not before the creepy security guard tried to get her on his moped and take her somewhere.

Great atmosphere, the friendliest and most helpful staff, free drink hour, comfy beds. Really nice hostel in great location near the beach, i wouldnt stay anywhere else in port barton!

The music (personal preference), and food couldve been better!
