For a house that sleeps 7 or 8 I fill like someone had cleaned out their camping dishes. Alot of small plastic cups. There were only 3 spoons and 4 steak knives that did"nt work well.. The couch was on the ground. Very low and hard to get on or off. Other than that it was a great week. We enjoyed it very much.

Terrific location! Beautiful view from upstairs porch. Huge yard (mostly dirt). Keep in mind it is a rental.

Great property. Only issue is the carpet had a pet urine odor. The pet friendly home would be better without any carpet.

My family had a great time at this vacation house. The location is excellent and has a beautiful view from the upstairs living area of the ocean and boardwalk. The neighborhood was surprisingly peaceful and quiet, considering how busy the boardwalk was. The beds were comfortable, hot tub warm, backyard very nice area. The house is very casual and perfect for families. The host was very helpful when we needed her which was appreciated.

1. When we arrived we found out that there was no A/C or fans. 2. When we looked at the pictures and reviews of this property they were above average, however upon arrival found the rental to be a disappointment. 1. The outdoor furniture was old, badly weathered, and in disrepair. Some of the items actually looked unsafe to sit upon. 2. The upstairs bathroom had one out of three lights working over the sink. We had to go buy our own light bulbs in order to have light. 3. Master bed was ok…queen bed in lower bedroom was terrible, according to our friends, however the King and Queen mattresses were old and stained and in need of replacement. 4. The windows were all filthy. The exterior of the cabinets were greasy and dirty. 5. Master bedroom had one small lamp and no working lights in the hutch over the bed. 6. Queen bedroom had 2 small lights that looked like they would be used on a child’s desk. 7. The gazebo was in disrepair, it had weeds growing inside it and furniture was weathered and uninviting. 8. The deck upstairs was nice, but only had 2 sad looking chairs to sit on, not a great way to look at the ocean! 9. Backyard was sad and uninviting. It reminded us of White trash Ozarks areas that we knew growing up and worked very hard to get away from as adults. 10. TV remote did not work properly in either the living room or the Master bedroom. Queen bedroom did not have a TV. The remote did not control the volume, we had to physically get up to raise and lower the volume, something we have not had to do in 20 years. 11. The Heat did not work. 12. The kitchen lacked many basics. Examples: salt and pepper, coffee filters, foil, etc. All in all, very disappointing, and it could have been so much better quite easily. Would be appropriate for college parties and that is about it. We attempted to reach out with our concerns to the property manager on June 26th and have not received a response, so we are posting our review. Hopefully improvements will be made, as this property could be an adequate rental with some tender loving care.

I spent 2 nights here with our friends and 2 dogs. The back yard was large and gave the pups some room to run around while we BBQed. Location is great as it is a few minute walk to the board walk. The only thing I saw that could use a little work was the cleaning outside in the backyard. Lots of spider webs, grill and table were fairly dirty as well so I took the outside hose and cleaned it up some. Otherwise though we had a great stay and Jewlia who rented us the home was very easy to work with.

Views and everything we needed to enjoy Santa Cruz.

We were very comfortable in this lovely home. The location is awesome! We stayed for two nights and I wish we could’ve stayed another two. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every day after long walks in Santa Cruz.

Just loved hanging out with my family at the house . Everything you could want is there. Also appreciated that you could walk to the wharf and boardwalk .

We were so thankful to find this place last minute before New Years🎉�... It is a great place to accommodate a large group! Awesome location !!! My teenagers loved how close it is to everything❤️👍�

Location location location and comfort.

We took our family of teens and they loved this location! So close to the boardwalk and west cliff bike riding... add a jacuzzi and it was wonderful! Owners were responsive and helpful and we will definitely come again next year! Dog friendly home is well kept and we really enjoyed taking our small dog.

Our family of 6 adults and 3 grandkids (ages 2-6) stayed there for a 4 day weekend and we all loved it. The location is great - a short block from W. Cliff Dr and a couple of blocks from the stairs to Cowell's Beach. The Wharf & Boardwalk are walkable. The second floor layout is beautiful - spacious living room with views - open to dining area and kitchen - huge round dining table that fit the 9 of us. Master bedroom upstairs opens to narrow porch - huge comfey bed. Large backyard worked well for hosing sand off the kids. Nice hot tub - was respectably hot. The first floor hallways had a slightly cavernous feel, but no big deal - the bedrooms were nice. Overall: convenient, comfortable luxury.

This was our second stay at this beautiful home in Santa Cruz. The owners have made some nice upgrades to the home, and it still contains that same magic that was present the first time we rented. There is a good size backyard with a nice outdoor table and chairs, also has a very nice hot tub and fire pit! I went with my wife, and a group of our friends and had a blast. Jewlia was an absolute pleasure to work with and always is. She is very kind and accommodating, and we were also able to purchase the UFC fight during one of the nights. This home is extremely close to the beaches and the boardwalk, and is also located in a safe area that is free from sketchy individuals. We already can't wait to come back next summer, we consider this home our home away from home! I would strongly recommend this house to anyone who is thinking of visiting Santa Cruz.

We were looking for an annual vacation rental. This home is a good location for beach and activities. It is mostly quiet at night. Upstairs master could use a new mattress. It has valleys that are painful on the back. The home was clean upon arrival but not thoroughly. Appliances were not wiped down, we had to put the dishes away, and there was a plate of rotting food left on top of the blender. Bring toilet paper and garbage bags, there were no replacements. There were damages prior to arrival so document EVERYTHING immediately when you arrive. We were charged with replacing a screen door, that we were not even aware existed. Be careful of the dining table chairs. The casters fall out when you move while sitting and present a fall risk. Also, one of the backs of the chairs was completely shredded and snagged your clothing if standing too close. This chair should not even be in the house. There was a large hole in the carpet. The backyard is not as represented in the photos. The lawn was dead and full of burrs. Not pet or human friendly. The "accidental damage insurance" proved to be a waste of time and money. We will not rent here again. The neighbors were great.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Christmas at this great house. We hung stockings by the fireplace, opened gifts, had a Christmas tree- the difference from other years? In the afternoon some went surfing, some went biking in the sunshine, some went for long walk along West Cliff Drive, past the light house, and almost all enjoyed the hot tub later. We stayed at this house in August and liked it so much we extended our stay in December- in fact, I stayed there more days in December than at my own house! With a view of the ocean, garage, hot tub, good heating system, close to Cowell Beach/West Cliff Drive it is a great vacation rental.

We stayed for 4 nights to participate in my son's wedding. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The back yard was great. We will definitely recommend and repeat.

I have been renting houses in Santa Cruz/Capitola/Rio Del Mar area for over 20 years. This rental was the easiest and most comfortable of all. With view of ocean, pier and even UCSC meadow, hot tub (easy to use with no problems), large garage, parking, and so close to Cowell Beach, it was perfect! My grandkids were busy every day paddle boarding, surfing, biking, and enjoying the hot tub. The rest of us also enjoyed these activities and I went for a walk along the ocean (West Cliff Drive) at least twice a day. In fact, enjoyed the house so much, have reservations to stay there, again, in 2 weeks!

The house and location are great for a family (plus dogs) get together. Between the beach and the Boardwalk, everyone (8 to 55) had something to do. With the two car garage, the bikers in the family could store road bikes for fantastic rids along Cliff Drive. We would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of room. Planning on booking this place for next year. Liked being able to walk to Boardwalk and Wharf and having a 2 car garage. Thank you Jewlia for taking care of all our needs.

I needed a spot to stay for my daughters graduation from UCSC. The house was very comfortable and my family enjoyed staying here. After the graduation we enjoyed the backyard, a nice family BBQ followed by a fire and a soak in the hot tub. It is a short walk to the boardwalk, wharf or the light house. There is space for four cars to park, and plenty of street parking. Nice quiet neighborhood just steps away from all the fun in Santa Cruz. Good management, there was an issue with part of a fence at the property. I got a call just to make sure that was not going to be an issue before we arrived
