The roomed smelled like a smokey bar. It’s says none smoking but that’s not the case. There were 2 air fresheners that were empty and a room air purifier that didn’t not help. I asked for someone to contract me about it and that never happened. I was told on my initial complaint that other residents smoke therefore it travels to the other properties. We spoke with several other guests poolside and NONE experienced this problem.

Table space is good.The bed is comfortable.Good setup for simple life.

The room was nice, great bed, great view. Problem was the room had been smoked in and was very overwhelming. Vacasa corporate was very responsive but no response from local management during our entire stay. Please, if you smoke and there is a balcony, SMOKE OUTSIDE and don’t ruin it for the next couple renters.

Chronologically. 1. Emailed instructions for door were incorrect but we figured it out. 2. Code to pool and grounds was incorrect. Texted VACASA and didn't get a response. Called two days later and got shuffled around and finally someone gave me a new updated code. 3. TV was not hooked up. 4. Floor lamp did not work. Thought it might be a bulb so was going to change it with another. Upon unscrewing the bulb the entire switch came open revealing broken wires creating a shock and fire hazard. Unplugged it and left text with VACASA. Nothing heard back for entire stay of 9 nights. 5. Screen door was off its tracks and I couldn't get it on them. 6. Clock wasn't working. Needs new battery. 7. Not enough hot water for back-to-back showers. 8. Checking Out Process: 10:00 AM checkout time. Was loading up car at 9:00 AM when cleaning crew showed up and wanted to start. I said they could come in while I was still loading car. At 9:20 wife said she was missing some of her toiletries. She went back to the condo and the cleaning staff was not going to let her in and said "there were no personal items left in here and you will be charged a 2nd cleaning fee." Wife argued with them and she found her toiletries in the bathroom as well as a personal book in the nightstand. Summary: the cleaning staff had no business asking to come in early.
