The location was perfect for our plans (lots of time on the beach and downtown). We did a Monday - Friday stay, so there were no crowds.

Great place to stay with a fabulous view.

Good: The property has absolutely beautiful views, it is a short walk downstairs to the beach. The room was very clean and felt welcoming. They had beach chairs and towels available for use. The location is fabulous. It is in the middle of everything you would want to see. Bad: People in the condo next to us (212) smoke and we had a hard time sitting out on the porch or leaving the screen opened due to the smell of cigarette smoke. They are also doing construction on the house right behind the condo and we were woken up at 6:00am every morning due to the construction noise.

We had a great time at the property. Convenient location for bike rental drop off/pick up at the property. Great beach views from the living room.

I so enjoyed staring at the ocean every morning and taking a walk along the beach with my morning coffee. The location was excellent – not only for its beach proximity but also for just being a couple of miles away from the town with its wonderful shops and restaurants. It was also very close to Fort Clinch and the Park, Next time I will have to get a bike and ride around there! The unit itself had all of the practical things you would want for the beach and the kitchen had what we needed as well.

This is a great spot right on the beach and this unit had a great view of beach and the beautiful sunrises. Very clean and well kept with nice comfortable beds.

Our condo was perfect for a week long beach getaway. Perfect view of the ocean, steps from the beach, comfortable living space and a short drive to town and excellent restaurants! This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!

This property had great reviews online and the pictures lead you to believe the property and fresh and new. The property however is a bit on the older side and you can see that with the floors and the walls. When we first arrived, I was taken aback by what I expected compared to what we arrived to find. The walls were banged up and just made the space feel dirty. The floors were dingy especially in the bathrooms where the grout in high traffic areas was dark. The shower the the primary bedroom was also very small...you hit the walls etc. when you move, extend, or turn. I ended up showering in the hall bathroom with the kids the entire visit. The bedrooms are carpeted and the carpet definitely needs to be replaced/removed. It is very worn, so I insisted that we all wear sandals or socks or something while we were walking around - which means we never achieved that level of comfort that made us feel like we were "at home." The air after showers could get pretty muggy in the rental so that exacerbated the general dinginess of the carpet in the bedrooms. The morning after we arrived, I had settled a little bit - I am a self-diagnosed germaphobe, so it was a rough night. After calming down a bit and getting past my first impressions, I was able to appreciate the excellent views and the proximity to the beach. Please note, the pictures make it seem like you can walk off your back porch to the beach, but you are actually a floor up from sea-level. The only other problem we had was ants. My son dropped a cheerio and by the next day several ants had found it. There was a dead fly in the window as well. We killed a spider as soon as we walked in around the window seal as well. Some of the curtains had black stains on them. Generally speaking, there was an attention to detail with respect to cleanliness that was definitely lacking that I appreciate when I travel. The house was well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies. We cooked a lot while we were there, but we had brought our own beach supplies. That is however I great touch. I would not stay at this property again unless I was guaranteed that a new level of detail was paid to cleanliness. Overall I gave this 4 stars because I know I am very picky. I am sure there are lots of travelers that would have paid zero attention to the things that I notice.

This sweet little beach spot is a total dream - from watching the sunrise from the comfiness of the couch to the easiest beach access, this was the perfect spot for my family of four to spend spring break. Thanks for having us - we have already booked our return trip!

We loved being able to enjoy the sunrises from our balcony and the condos location on the beach. Great for walking and close to downtown.

My family and I had a great stay at this property. I should give this a bad review so no one else finds out about this gem :) Quiet beaches/not crowded. The location and views were the the best! We did not have any issues but if we had it was nice to know someone was on site to help. Can’t get closer to the beach. Great shops and restaurants downtown. Only negative was that carpets worn/dirty and are ready to be replaced... Also, small tv in living room in a dated cabinet. Cabinet made it difficult to watch tv from couch . That did not deter us from having a great time and giving five stars. Don’t go-it’s quiet, not crowded, great shops, good food, friendly people..who wants that??? 😆

This is our first time to Amelia Island and it won’t be our last. The condo what was the perfect place for a family of four. With all the amenities provided including beach chairs towels and everything you need for a day on the beach already in the room. Having laundry available in the condo was so nice to keep up on the daily loads. Everything we needed in the kitchen made preparing food when we decided to eat in really easy. Of course with all the great local food we also enjoy dining out or having food delivered. The room had incredible views and we would spend every evening just sitting on the balcony till late in the evening. Working with the management was easy and any issue or needs before or during were taken care right away. I would highly recommend staying with them.

We’ve never been to Amelia Iskand before, and we were in love! Condo is exactly as pictured. There were lots of extras provided including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels to name a few. We liked the short walk to the beach and the pool. There’s a lot to love about staying in a smaller complex, including room at the pool and the beach, and no long waits for an elevator. Amelia Island offers plenty of activities and traffic was minimal. Jacksonville and St.Augustine weren’t far away either. I would say that you can hear part of the traffic noise from the bedroom, and if you’re tall, you may not fit on the bed. (Maybe it could be turned). The unit probably needs a little extra tlc in a few areas, but no biggie. The master faucet needs replaced, I’m sure they were in the process of that. For some reason the kitchen water never got real hot, maybe I wasn’t patient enough. We loved it so much, we already booked for next year! I would recommend going to eat at Down Under and the Salty Pelican, but put your name in early on Yelp to avoid long waits.

Such a beautiful beach and amazing views from the condo! This was our second time staying at this condo and we would definitely stay again in the future.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the condo. It was very clean, roomy, stocked with everything we needed and had an amazing view of the ocean. Access to the beach was a breeze and the pool was a welcome spot to cool off. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and shops in Fernandina Beach.

The property is perfect! The view, proximity to beach and to historic downtown can’t be beat! We had a great time.

The views were breathtaking and it was a perfect location. The single complaint that I have is that we thought it odd that we had to take out the trash to the dumpster and wash the towels. It really seems that these duties should have been left to the cleaners.

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo was gorgeous and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location could not have been better--steps from the beach and within walking distance of a few restaurants (and a short drive to everything else). We definitely hope to stay here again. Amelia Island is a magical place.

We loved the closeness to the fort and downtown area. The view and beach were fantastic. Loved the condo came equipped with gear for the beach. Beds were very comfortable and we took advantage of the washer and dryer which were a life saver. Thank you so much!

We come down to the area a few times a year but don't usually stay on the island. I will say though, this condo was great. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony, lots of amenities, and the property management group on site was so helpful. We even had to call the owner with a parking question and he answered and was also super helpful. Lots of beach gear in the closet, plenty of beach towels in the unit, everything was clean and easily accessible. We'll definitely stay here again. Thank You

I loved looking out the picture windows. This is an awesome feature of this condo. Super easy to get to the beach. Beach was not crowded. Totally enjoyed it!

This was a beautiful condo with fantastic views of the ocean!! It was decorated very nicely and very beachy! We just loved it. The access to the beach is right there at the site. Everything was included that you needed in the condo and for the beach including plates, cooking ware, towels, beach towels, beach umbrella, toys. It did not lack anything other than parking space. You only have one space. Management responds quickly to any questions and very nice to work with. The whole process from booking property to checking in was very easy.
