Arrival was very easy!! We had very few problems with the property and any we did have were quickly addressed after I called them in! The property was very nice, and in a great location from the Beach. I would highly recommend getting golf carts if you have kids that need to be transported often! It’s much easier than taking a car!! There were several small needs that could be addressed, but all just a result of wear and tear on a property that houses 30+ people!!! Nothing notable, just cosmetic. The ice maker is a huge convenience. 2 fridge/freezers is also nice! Beds were comfy and the bunk rooms were perfect for our two groups of kids! (18 y/o) and (siblings)! Destin has a lot to do, plenty to keep you entertained. Lots of people, so waiting and patience is a must! We would highly recommend this property to friends.

We liked the fact the the house was conveniently located, with private beach access and had bathrooms in every bedroom. However, the pool’s filter was not working and there were other issues with the house. We spoke to the management office several times regarding the issues however no one bothered to fix it. In addition the starter cleaning supplies provided i,e dishwashing liquid for hand and for dishwasher, trash bags were not enough to even last a day compared to the size of the house.

This property is more beautiful than shown in the pictures. It is very spacious yet warm and inviting. There was great attention to detail and comfort.

The pics online doesn't do the property justice. It was more spacious than I anticipated. The kitchen-dining and outdoor kitchen space provides ample room and furniture for our group of 25 to eat. The pool was big enough for the 15 kids to play while the adults relaxed on the pool-side lounge chairs. The media room was a big hit with gamers, a great getaway. We appreciated the two refrigerators/freezers and two dishwashers in the kitchen. There are plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, cooking utensils, and pots and pans. But the hand held mixer beaters will fly off if you ramp up the speed. There is plenty of counter space. The oven looks brand new. The cockroaches roaming the first floor were unwelcome guests. The outdoor kitchen with two dorm size refrigerators provided space for drinks. The ice maker provided the ice needed for our coolers. Plenty of chairs to relax. A huge black rat scavenged the outdoor kitchen after dark. The bedroom mattresses were comfortable. The bedrooms on the second and third floors provided plenty of space and sleeping options. The queen bedroom on the first floor is cramped. The stairs are steep and numerous and a challenge for the elderly. There is a washer and a dryer on the second and third floors. Quite handy for the beach towels. Although the dryer on the third floor isn't drying properly. Probably a clogged vent. That was a nuisance having to drag laundry to the second floor dryer. The water pressure in the showers was low. The rooms were quiet. The location is close to the beach, an easy block walk. We rented a 6-seater golf cart that was useful to drop off at the beach, drive to stores and restaurants. It is street legal and all traffic moves pretty slow so it's the best way to get around. Beach setup of two umbrellas and 4 chairs was wonderful. No need to rush to the beach to claim a spot. It was set up by 9 and taken down at 5. The kids loved the white sand, clear water, and waves. The management was friendly and helpful. The caretaker seemed overworked and stressed out as anyone would be taking care of over 50 units. Didn't appreciate being threatened with fines for not emptying waste baskets and general cleanup tasks that should be covered with the almost $1000 clean up fee charged to us. All in all many more positives than negatives. Would consider returning in the future.

This is an amazing house! A few things that bothered us - when we arrived, the property was not very clean. Dishes in the cupboard had a sticky film, so those were washed thoroughly before use. The cleaners could have easily wiped off dirty hand prints by switches and on walls, but they were very visible and prevalent leaving me to question the thoroughness of the cleaners. If they could miss something so obvious, what else did they miss? Same goes for the kitchen where there was a lip all around the bottom of the lower cabinets that had chunks of food and crumbs. Pulling out the vacuum myself, I discovered the hose was very clogged. Fixed that and it worked okay, but a better vacuum for the floors may help with the cleaning. Needs touching up of paint everywhere. The patio door needs the trim fixed. Gaps evident. Just a suggestion, the doors in the bathrooms could do with some hooks for hanging suits and towels. Also some heavier blankets in the closets of the bedrooms for the chiller months. All in all, we had a great experience, though. Loved the large pool, the big island in the kitchen, the two refrigerators, and also the ease of check in was so nice! Also, the property managers were prompt in responding to the several issues we had while we stayed. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This house and setting is nothing short of beautiful. The house is just as roomy and luxurious and the pictures look. However we soon discovered that the house was not well maintained. One of the refrigerators did not work when we arrived, and it took a day to get it fixed. The surround sound in the movie room was not hooked up, and after they brought some more cords to get it working, only the tv worked with the surround sound, not the DVD player. The grill was completely rusted out and out of propane, but maintenance was able to buy a new grill before we had to use it. One of the washers would take 5-6 hours to complete a load, though maintenance checked it out and didn’t see any issues. One of the ovens stopped working in the middle of cooking something on one day, and never worked again. One of the dishwashers started leaking on the last day. Overall, the house was beautiful but needed better maintenance.

We took our whole family, 9 adults and 5 kids, and absolutely loved this place! The pool and the media room were a big hit with the kids. The in suite bunks was such a great idea for younger children. It was a perfect fit for our family!

Loved the house! Was wonderful for a large group! The kitchen was very well stocked for a crowd! The pool was large and beautiful! We found the house to be clean and ready when we arrived. The daily beach chairs and umbrellas were nice. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants!

Great 9 bedroom 9.5 bath home w heated pool. Large rooms, sleeps about 35. We had 21 adults &4 kids first 2 weeks of March. Cool days meant pool, bowling, regular or putt putt golf, shopping, visits to towns on 30A like Seaside or Rosemary.

The house was prefect. We all truely enjoyed ourselves. The only little hiccup we had was the food that was left in the oven from the guest that was there before us other then that we really dont any complaints. When we had questions about the pool I called and the pool guy was there within 30 minutes to help us. Everybody was friendly and helpful. I would definitely do a vacation in this house again. Property is well maintained and just a minutes walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again. Only downfall is that both dryers do not work well.

Venetian Palace was great we had 26 people 14 adults and 12 children and we still had left over bunks, the pool w/outdoor kitchen was awesome. The two fridges and dishwashers were lifesavers, all the utensils you needed were there. The large dining table sat all of us comfortably.

There were 29 of us from ages 7 months to 56. We were all Wow'd by the cleanliness, comfort and convenience of this home! The Kitchen is not only large and easy to cook for a large group, but it is stocked with all you need. The beds are comfortable and the house is close to the beach but off the main road so lots of privacy. The Pool was amazing. All the pictures are true! This was a find, we loved our stay!

Our golf group of 8 had an incredible time once again thanks to an exceptional home. More importantly, the attention to detail that Carrie and Beach Reunion folks paid throughout our visit made for memories without a single blemish. Being PROACTIVE versus reactive is what makes the perfect vacation. We will see you once again next year. Endless thanks!!!!

The property is first class and well maintained. Everything you would ever need is provided. The manager, Jim, is a wonderful guy who will do anything necessary to make the stay most enjoyable, I strongly recommend it for any family or reunion gathering.

We have been renting from Jim Cochran's Beach Reunion for 10 years. We have rented this particular property since it was built. Just a fantastic place for our Annual Pog Mo Thon Golf Trip. Jim and his staff, Carrie and Laura, treat us like family and the feeling is mutual. We just love the Venetian and all of it's amenities. In addition, we were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the Venetian on this years stay and he is a helluva guy and loves what Beach Reunion does for him. We are already working on our dates for 2019 and cant wait to get back to heaven. Keep up the good work Jim, Carrie, and Laura. All the BEST!

We rented this property for our wedding and reception. We were very impressed with the staff of Beach Reunion. Carrie Monroe was especially helpful at answering my questions and giving me advice. It is not easy to plan a destination wedding. We had a great time!! Thanks for making our wedding memorable!

The kitchen set up with 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers worked great! The outdoor kitchen area with additional fridge was fantastic. Pool and hot tub with tv area made for great space for a large group. Water pressure can’t keep up. Ice maker also can’t keep up. Beach accommodations are less than stellar in the off season with the rude leased umbrella and chair people. The entire “private” beach area was over run with unoccupied chairs. We set up in front of them and had a rude young man tell us to move. Honestly there is no where to move. Walton county is terrible for home rental because of the chair and umbrella rental folks. Beaches are beautiful though.

Fantastic House! - Our annual family reunion beach vacations require a house that can accommodate between 30-40 people (adults and children). BeachReunion has several beautiful homes that will comfortably accommodate us, but The Venetian Palace has been one of our favorites! The beautifully decorated home includes a wonderful, open design for our large group activities, one of the grandest and most beautiful swimming pools in the area, a full outdoor kitchen, a convenient and spacious movie theater, and a kitchen with all of the conveniences of home--and then some (i.e., two refrigerators!)! All of this less than a 5 minute walk from a private beach--with chairs and an umbrella reserved for us each day! Unsurpassed Service! - The service is nothing short of outstanding! There was a concierge available to us every day (Carrie) while in The Venetian Palace. She was the friendliest, most accommodating and helpful concierge I have ever experienced. This year (June 2017), we celebrated a 70th birthday with a catered, "white attire" celebration at the house AND a wedding on the beach. Carrie was available even before our arrival to assist us with planning, logistics, and by providing a list of recommendations for local vendors, caterers, suppliers, etc. She also assisting us by receiving some of our supplies and materials (some even before our arrival) and delivering the boxes to us at the house. We would not have enjoyed the success of these two special events without her assistance (Thank you again, Carrie!). And while there were only a couple of minor issues that required attention, (wifi login, light bulb change), friendly maintenance personnel seemed to arrive within minutes of a phone call to the office. We felt like it was the mission of everyone, even the maintenance personnel, to ensure that we had a wonderful and carefree week! Nearby Activities, Restaurants and Shopping! - There is easy access to golf, deep-sea fishing, water parks, water sports, shopping, and food (especially seafood)! Once again, Carrie quickly and effortlessly provided information and assistance to connect us to everything we were interested in exploring. We will certainly return to this house and have already recommended it to others!
