Our grown children and their spouses wanted to return to the property this summer. It was even more awesome than we remembered. We left only to restock our groceries !! The outdoor space and kitchen was the center of our days there. The wonderfully stocked kitchen and immaculate sleeping areas made for wonderful evenings. We can’t wait to return !!

We spent an amazing full week here for our family’s summer vacation. Sara was a spectacular host. If we needed anything, had questions, etc., she was immediately responsive and went above and beyond in every way. Thank you, Jeff & Sara for an incredible stay!

My husband and I were delighted to return to Hudson Bend Casa for a long weekend to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The home and grounds are designed to affect all of your senses creating an environment that is both relaxing and inspiring. We hope to return again in a few months.

Stay was 10/10, the space was perfect and had everything + more needed for a comfortable visit. Sara and Jeff were highly responsive and communicative from the time of booking through our stay, as well as accommodating to the needs of our party and sharing their chickens' eggs from the coop (yum!). The House has such a cozy/resort feel and is only 30 minutes from Downtown.

This property deserves a six star rating, not just for how beautiful it is but because of the attention to the small things. Starting with the owner giving us a walk through. Sara showed us how the stoves and outdoor grills worked, that anything in the fridge, pantry or drink fridges (inside and out) were available to us, the bottled water for making coffee, how to turn on pool/patio lights, the provided swim towels and pool toys for our use. This in edition to personalized instructions for our stay and a welcome basket for all ages. We live in the area but our trip to La Hacienda Estates felt like a vacation aboard. A wonderful time. Awesome place to stay with great hosta

I have been very fortunate to do quite a bit of traveling and this house ranks near the top of my favorite places to stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, setting the resort like atmosphere of the place. Not to mention the beautiful views of the lake. The house is unique, eclectic, well appointed and comfortable. It has all the things to make your stay easy and stress free such as coffee makers, cooking utensils, spices, garbage bags, towels, extra blankets, pool toys, etc. The snack basket was icing on the cake. Sara is the best host you could ask for- caring, accommodating, informative but you never feel like she's imposing. We had young kids with us who thoroughly enjoyed the playground, the pool and the chickens on the property. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fabulous getaway. We will definitely be returning to La Hacienda Estates!

The best experience ever ! The house, guest house, and grounds are immaculate. The pictures DO NOT do it justice. So close to grocery stores and restaurants, but our adult children wanted to cook in every day so they could enjoy the pool longer !! We will definitely return. We’re already making our plans !!

This was an incredible stay for my family and I. There is not a detail left undone. The property in its entirety holds not only convenience, but character. It felt as if the house carries a lot of love and good memories. The shower with the plants and the claw foot tub was my favorite part, best vacation in years.

Great house for a guys' weekend. Seven old friends have been getting together every year or two since the 80's. This house was perfect given the pool, outside seating area and outdoor kitchen. There are 4 full beds and Sara (owner) provided air mattresses for the rest. There is also a large daybed by the pool that was used given the nice weather. There are lots of steps, so not likely the best for someone with issues walking, but our group was fine with that. Sara is very sweet and was there for us as needed. We loved it.

This was by far the best Vrbo stay we ever had. Sara was beyond amazing. She was the most hospitable and generous host we ever stayed with. She gave us a tour during check-in, she kindly asked about my young kids’ preference on which room to sleep in etc. If this place is slightly over your budget, please do yourself a favor and go for it. You won’t regret it. This place felt like a real vacation, not just having a place to stay in. It was a total change of air. We had the most positive Vrbo stay ever. The pool, the TV room being just behind the kitchen, made our stay with little kids so enjoyable. Even for the kids, lol! 😃

This home was great for our family to gather and hang out from all over the country. Very well stocked and comfy. Pool and outdoor day bed were great. Would come back again.

Could not have more pleased with every aspect of the booking process, checkin, communication from the owners, having all needs met prior to checkin in regards to additional beds setup, cleanliness, abundance of stocked items from the bathrooms to kitchen to outside amenities. During our stay a friend started feeling unwell, a text message amd 3 minute wait we had a thermometer and offering of a rapid test kit just to make sure it wasnt a Rona thing. Which it wasnt. Having the kids pick eggs out of the hen house was nice. We really felt we had privacy tur whole time. The one issue we had was never wanting to leave to see more of Austin. It's a paradise there. You will not want to checkout either. Enjoy this gem!

We can't say enough nice things about this incredible property and the amazing hospitality of the management. We definitely felt like we were at a resort! The view is gorgeous and the house is very spacious and well designed for entertaining. It is also fenced in, so our dog was able to run around worry free! The property managers couldn't be nicer and are excellent with communications. They pay a lot of attention to detail and provide a very helpful welcome letter (and snacks!) to ensure a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to have another opportunity to visit again soon! Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation!

We simply loved staying at Sara & Jeff's home and casitas. No detail was overlooked. Within minutes of settling in we were completely relaxed and felt such a calm, peace for our entire stay. We are planning our return trip!

This is by far my favorite rental property. It can easily keep all ages occupied, has beautiful views, and is such a fun place to cook a meal. We’ve stayed there twice now, and the second I unpack, I am at ease. Can’t wait to return again.

Our family loved Jeff and Sara’s beautiful home and property! Sara is the hostess with the mostest! The pool and lake view are absolutely lovely. Their house has so much personality and some delightful surprises await you. Having the two bedrooms and bath in the separate casita was perfect for blending relatives on the same property. They are amazing hosts with an amazing kitchen/grill set up. Chef Jeff’s culinary touch is present in both the indoor and outdoor kitchens. It was so relaxing to be there, and we all hope to return in the future. Even our relatives from coastal California want to come back someday. The Watson Family

The House is outstanding, grounds are exceptional and the view is amazing....Beautiful furnishings and very comfortable bedrooms. I spent quite a bit of time just touring the house and grounds to take everything in. Best property by far that I have ever stayed out. Property manager is ready to meet any of your needs but unlikely you will need anything.

We stayed here for a long weekend - two families with 3 kids total and this was absolutely perfect for us. The property is gorgeous. We cooked, we grilled, we swam. Everything you need is right there and easily accessible. Sara is an incredible host - we were so appreciative of all the special touches - the snacks and drinks and pool floats! She even came to the rescue when my daughter lost a balloon to the beautiful high ceilings! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

Well the property was as good as our host. She has thought of everything from arrival refreshments to pool accessories. The outdoor pool/patio make the stay all that much more better. The is a convenient store and liquor store two minutes any and full size grocery 10 minutes out so things are easy in Texas Hill Country. Yea haw.

Great few nights at la hacienda estates! Amazingly stocked home, very child friendly and accommodating to our two toddlers, incredible view and outdoor amenities (pool, BBQ grill, fire pit, playground). Quick drive to marina for boat rental. Can’t wait to return!

But I think it’s because the experience feels so much less like a house and so much more like a property- a villa or resort not typically found in Texas. This is due to everything from the seemingly small choices- like the light fixtures, the Westin’s signature Heavenly shower head in the master, the candle and soap scents- to the larger ones like the choice of building materials and custom appliances. This house is so well thought out that it feels more akin to a resort property.We came with the whole gang as a multi-generational group. We did a lot of cooking, and honestly it felt like all of our food simply tasted better when cooked with the chef-level appliances and tools! The kids loved running around the on-site playground every morning. We spent our afternoons in the pool surrounded by the beautiful foliage and lake views. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. And we all got such wonderful sleep! We also really appreciated the fully stocked snacks and drinks that Sara provided- this is not typical of a host and was so kind! We have traveled extensively in the country and abroad and have struggled to find safe and comprehensive options during this pandemic. We would highly recommend staying here for a beautiful and safe getaway that feels like a true vacation!

Probably the best property I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing communication prior to our arrival, which was a little complicated due to folks arriving at different times. Super thoughtful preparation. Incredible house (houses, really) that was perfect for entertaining. We swam every day, had extended family over at their leisure, we were always finding new things on the property. My 5yr olds loved the playground - it’s not even in the pictures! We can’t wait to return. Truly a gem.

The photos look great, but it's still better in person. Well stocked, landscaped, and decorated. The owners are helpful and generous. Recommended.

This property was an excellent experience! The house is so unique and very beautiful! Sara and Jeff Blank went out of their way to make sure our stay was a memorable one. This property is absolutely magical. It is so much more magnificent than pictures can show. Sara is an amazing host and thinks of absolutely everything. She was a joy to meet and was very sweet to my daughter who loved exploring the property. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to visit again.

La Hacienda Estates is definitely home to us! We call it Casa Sol because of the cheery sun that welcomes you as you walk up the front door! This is our second of many future stays here. Sara and Jeff are amazing hosts. The house, aside from being absolutely gorgeous, is immaculately clean. Everything you need for your stay is available. The chef's kitchen is perfect! Although it rained the entire weekend we were there, we still enjoyed sitting outdoors enjoying the view by the firepit. The house itself is so fun you almost don't have to go outside to enjoy yourself. It's not too far that you cant come and go into Austin. I cannot think of a better place to have celebrated our daughter's graduation. We love it!

Sara, the host was great. Attentive to every need we had. Place has a great atmosphere, clean, well stocked and perfect for our group of 8. Great location as the house sets very far back on property and away from the road. Very quiet at night. Highly recommend!

2nd time we visit and 2nd time we had a total blast! The place is breath taking. Hospitality is 5 star. We can’t wait to come back.
