Great location within walking distance of downtown Saugatuck. House is a well-maintained century home. Very well-equipped with a nice back yard featuring a deck and patio with a nice fire pit. Kitchen had everything a family needed to prepare meals. Bathrooms were clean and very functional for an active family. Bedrooms were comfortable. Driveway easily accommodated three cars. Was on the Fourth of July parade route! Lots of fun for the kids. Plan to rent again.

The property was very clean, no smelly air freshener! and so very close to town. The home was very comfortable and more than enough space for 8 adults. The kitchen is spacious and the backyard is beautiful. There are two bathrooms on the main floor that have been remodeled and are very nice. No bathrooms on the second floor. The website should be updated to state that not all beds are queen size but rather full size. There is a bit of a trip hazard between kitchen and dining room. I would recommend this house.

Overall positive. Great location and backyard for outdoor dining and firepit. Big kitchen and plenty of indoor seating. Lack of bathroom on second floor is negative. Main floor has rooms with different floor heights which is a tripping hazard.

Great home for a family or group looking to getaway for a short trip. The home is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Location is well within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The upper bedrooms do get warmer more quickly than the rest of the house. So just be mindful when choosing which room to take. Very spacious backyard for large groups to sit and relax.

Wonderful house in a great location. The air conditioning was really cool even though it was hot and muggy.

We had a great time staying here! It is an excellent location and walkable to everything. Everything was sparkling clean and had all amenities we needed for the weekend! They also have a great back deck with bonfire area that we utilized as well. This was perfect for what we booked it for and would stay here again!

We stayed at the house for a girls weekend. The house is a GREAT location. We were able to walk everywhere. Randy lives on the property and was very nice and helpful! The people that stayed in the upstairs bedrooms said they got hot at night, but other than that no complaints. Can’t wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful time! We had 12 ladies stay in the house and there was everything we needed including tons of towels and extra blankets and pillows. The location was a perfect walk to town.

Fire pit was great, plenty of space for the 11 of us. Beds could have been more comfortable. Overall, all great place.

I reserved this property back on January 12 for my family as we like to get together on the Labor Day weekend for family fun time. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get there Everybody loved it so much it was sad to leave on Monday, great memories and what a blast we had in town and at the property. The backyard and fire pit was awesome Needless to say I was the hero for finding such a wonderful place to stay We all want to go back again next year Thank You For giving us the opportunity to enjoy such a Beautiful property

We had a wonderful week, loved how close the house was to town. We enjoyed the big fire pit and large back yard for playing yard games. The kitchen was well equipped. The only recommendation we would make is a room air conditioner for the upstairs bedrooms.

Walkable to town, big open kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating for the whole group. Cons: no second floor bathroom, no AC/not working if you are there in a heat wave. Fortunately weather was mild.

Close to shops, restaurants and the water, Francis Cottage fit the bill nicely for our group. With a 12-member, multi-generational group, no one could complain about the accommodations at the Francis Cottage. The large kitchen was excellent for meal prep and the fire pit in the backyard and access to the gas grill were wonderful additions to the inside comforts. The updated bathrooms were a welcome surprise as was access to a washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the linens were well stocked. Although there were issues with the thermostat, the caretaker was on top of making sure we knew the problem was being looked into. In a town not known for easy parking, it was nice to have a driveway and the ability to walk a few blocks to the action. We will definitely be staying again! The only minor suggestions are as follows: -Having a lock box at the house with a key accessible via code, would be more convenient than having to go to the rental office. -Drilling a few holes in the recycle bin would be helpful to avoid having it fill with water during rainy periods.

Sleeps 12 easily, large well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Its in the perfect location within walking distance into town where all the shops and restaurants are. Quiet neighborhood in wonderful town of Saugatuck.

The house was a perfect size four our family. It was very clean and I felt that our grandchildren were welcome as evidenced by the markers, crayons, and puzzles that were there. We did have to replace the gas tank on the grill but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall we were very pleased and would stay again! Our first vacation to Michigan and we LOVED it!
