I would rent this place again in a heartbeat. However a golf car would be handy just to get rides going up the hill I have any problems but everything was great

First time we have stayed in La Cruz and we loved it.

This is an excellent condo that is well maintained and in a extremely nice development. The facilities were as advertised and the accommodations were fantastic. La Cruz is a small fishing village away from the overrun tourist areas like Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. A very relaxing vacation. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed Christine’s beautiful condo immensely. Great location if you’re looking for a more relaxed vacation. Would definitely like to revisit some day.

so far the best condo we've stayed at in la cruz. the owner was very responsive, the condo was very well equipped and exactly what we were looking for. we really hope this one is available for our next trip.

We have a wonderful time. Christine our host was very friendly and provided us with details information to make our stay a very nice one. The condos provided everything we need and more. We did not do any cooking but if you do, the condos have all the necessary spices, oil, and vinegar to make a meal. There are lots of restaurants in Cruz, and very close drive to punts Mitas, Sayulitas, and Pancho. These places have great beaches for surfing, snorkeling, and whale watching tours. If you don’t like crowd you can rent your own private tour. We did that in Punta Mita and have a great time. The only thing you need for this place is a car to get around.

Our stay from January through March of 2021 at Christine's condo (Alamar, Amura Tower, 304B) was the best vacation my husband and I have ever had. The unit was spectacular and the view is beyond what words can describe...Bahia de Banderas, whales during the day and the city lights of Puerto Vallarta at night...not to speak of the pangas and sailboats that grace the bay every day. We fell in love with the charming fishing village of La Cruz De Huanacaxtle that has not only great local cuisine at street cafes but also a 5***** restaurant right in the heart of the village (Masala's). We have already reserved time in 2022 and can't wait to go back. Truly a vacation of a lifetime.

This was our second stay at the condo and everything was perfect! Location is great, town is friendly and fun, heated pools are the best! Highly recommend!

Extremely well-equipped and very nicely furnished condo with a bay view that afforded us almost daily whale-watching opportunities. The grounds are immaculate and the Beach Club and Jungle Pools are great places to spend a day. Chris, the owner, was quick to respond to our every need. Truly a beautiful place and highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful condo for 6 weeks and couldn’t have been happier! The condo is spacious, has beautiful views, is well stocked with cookware, dishes, condiments, bedding and towels. The 2 pools are heated which was a bonus! The town of La Cruz is quaint, friendly, and has plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. I highly recommend this condo!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. The condo is beautiful, large, and relaxing with an awesome view of the bay. We enjoyed eating breakfast and on the deck especially. The beach club was a nice break from our beach hopping also. We would happily stay again. Christine was a great host, very on top of things!

The condo was great for our family of six. The pools are beautiful and warm. The beach is about a five minute walk. The second bedroom is a bit small with two beds but worked well for our four teens. La Cruz is a small town, good restaurants, easy to walk through and feels safe. The Sunday market was a fun morning. The fish market is fantastic. We rode the bus and local taxis which stop at the Alamar driveway. It is easy to go to Puerto Vallarta or other towns. Kids loved scuba diving and surfing at Playa la Lancha Christine answered all my questions before arriving about scheduling activities and logistics and also was prompt at responding once we arrived. She is a great hostess

Beautiful property. Lovely condo. Clean, nicely furnished, more kitchen stuff than I have in my home. Spectacular view. Great pool. Fantastic beach club with resort features. La Cruz is a lovely town with great restaurants. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The Condo is wonderful and pool and beach club very nice. Loved swimming playing pickle ball and eating at some great restaurants!

We loved this place and plan to return. The condo has all the amenities of home with the addition of a gorgeous view of the bay. On site is a wonderful pool overlooking the bay as well and a pickleball court the kids had fun with. The private beach club was incredible, where you could sit by another beautiful pool with food and drink service or head down to the beach and play in the gentle surf. It's located in a quiet town outside of the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Very relaxing.

Le condo est très spacieux et lumineux, avec une vue incroyable (120 degrés), sur la baie de Banderas! La cuisine est très bien équipée (il y a pleins de choix d'assaisonnements) pour faire tout ce que vous désirez. De plus, il y a un gros BBQ, sur le balcon pour les grillades. Les fournitures sont nombreuses (Wifi, TV cablée, XBOX, laveuse, sécheuse (détergent fourni), cadran, séchoir à cheveux, draps de bain, literie de rechange, serviettes de plage, matelas pour chaises longues, etc.) Le CLUB DE PLAGE est à 5-7 minutes de marche, et il est MERVEILLEUX. Nous pouvons y commander un lunch, à coût très raisonnable. De plus, comme il est privé, il n'y a pas de sollicitation. Le transport collectif est à quelques pas... Il est très efficace et pas cher! Le seul petit bémol, est l'épicerie... Nous devons nous rendre en autobus ou en taxi. Cela ne prend que 10 minutes, et ne coûte que 10 pesos... Par contre, cela en vaut le coût, car le supermarché MEGA est génial, et nous y trouvons de tout! Je vous recommande vivement cet endroit chic et sécuritaire. Nous y retournerons, assurément!

This is a lovely complex in the hills above the town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. The condo is beautiful, spacious, airy, bright and very well appointed. Kitchen well stocked, nice beds, linens, towels, etc. Lots of toys in the unit for all sorts of activities. The view from the deck is great for morning breakfasts with a view of the bay of Banderas. We watched the New Years fireworks all around the bay toward Puerto Vallarta from the balcony. The pools are very nice, especially the one at the beach club. Good food and drinks at the beach club. The ocean water at the beach is a little rough and best entered at high tide, so you don't scrape up your feet. If it is a busy time of year, you'll need to get to the club early to get a lounge chair. The town is rustic and not modern, it is an easy walk, and there are some nice little restaurants. But you'll need to go back to Bucerias or farther for decent groceries. Taxis are fairly good so you can go without a car, and there is also transit for the more adventurous which is very cheap. The fish market at the marina is amazing. And there is a nice Sunday craft market at the marina.

This condo is incredible all the way. The development Alamar is exquisite and well located with all the amenities needed. the condo has great sense of decor and details everywhere. Very spacious and ample for a family of 6. The views are just spectacular 360• i have never in a poace where you can catch the sunrise and the sunset from your own terrace. Incredibly clean and organized it has everything you might need for a great stay. The kitchen is full equipped for any meal you want to deal. Our beloved thing to do was go to the sea market down below and buy fresh fish and shrimp to cook ourselves. The pools are great climate controlled and very important for us all the floooring and concrete in the pools doesnt get hot.. So you can be barefoot all the time and my children were happy about it because most of the places they burn their feer on the way to the pools The beach club is really great, good service, very well maintened and a great view to the beach with infinity pools; the beach is great , ample, white fine sand. Chris made all our arrangenents very easy for us and made our travel experience an incredible one. We really recommend this place and we are looking forward to come back soon.

This property is awesome!!! Not just the full complex amenities such as the Jungle Club or Beach Club, but the way this owners have decorated and stock their place. All you need is your clothing and thooth brush...not kidding! The staff that takes care of the property is very helpful and friendy. I will rent this property my next time in the area, there is not other place like this one around there. If you want to fill like you are "the king of the hill", well you will.

My family of four rented this condo and were extremely pleased! Even though we were there during spring break, our private beach club allowed us access to the beach without all the crowds. We had no trouble securing our own free cabana at the club. We had access to two swimming pools, one at the beach club and one connected to our condo. Everything in the condo was perfect. Every room had its own climate control and all appliances worked well. It was especially nice to have our own parking space in the garage, our own washer and dryer (yes we got muddy on one of our tours), and every other convenience of home. We found that we spent a lot less money here than we have previously staying at the All-inclusive hotels and we liked this much better. We ate wherever we wanted and filled the fridge with drinks and snacks. The owners are very organized and dependable. They promptly returned the security deposit and were so easy to communicate with. This is how family vacations should be done. One more thing.....this condo was super clean too!

Just returned from beautiful Puerto Vallarta (well, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to be precise) and wondering when we can go back! Thanks for offering your condo at the Alamar Resort. Spectacular views over looking La Cruz and out over Banderas Bay on the one side; lush, green, canopied hills on the other. We loved seeing the thunder clouds roll in over the mountains on the other side of the Bay, envelop Puerto Vallarta and leave us alone. The amenities were perfect. The pool at the condo was serene. We could not have asked for a more private, relaxing and quiet retreat. The pool and ocean water was perfect. Comfortable temperatures and refreshing! The condo was comfortable, nicely decorated and stocked with everything we had it home. It was also very nice given the timing of our trip at the tail end of the hot and humid part of the year to have it well air-conditioned. The security at the Alamar Resort was friendly and attentive and amazingly almost everyone we spoke to spoke English. We could barely practice our Spanish. On the action front, we loved the zip line tour and the Executive Charter snorkeling expedition to the Marietas Islands where the water was a deep, navy blue—very clear and warm. We had dolphins swimming along with the boat. What a treat. Thanks for the food recommendations. The food at the Beach Club, Tacos on the Street, Tortuga Bay, and Xocolate was fantastic! Going into Puerto Vallarta on Sunday evening for the Malecon was very cultural. After being there with the all the people, sights, sounds, food, it was nice to get back to the serenity of the Alamar Resort. We used taxis and a car to get around depending on the situation. Either worked very well. We could call the security guard at the entrance to the Alamar Resort, tell him our condo number and tower name and he would have a taxi up to the parking garage in 5 minutes. Bring your Pesos! We also liked driving ourselves and thought it was very orderly and similar to driving in Utah with the exception of the left hand turns from right side frontage road with the "fletcha" or arrow. Overall, wonderful! Thanks for making it all available.

Wow! The condo was WONDERFUL! Fabulous location! Outstanding staff! The private beach club and jungle club were so relaxing! Condo was beautifully furnished! Everything was spotless upon our arrival! Comfortable beds and furniture. Great amenities! Deck table, chairs and outside lounges were well maintained and comfortable! Excellent recommendations from owners on activities and restaurants! Easy access to other cities along the coast. A short drive to Puerta Vallarta for the airport and to enjoy the bigger city life while then returning to the smaller village of La Cruz where life is slow and kicked back! We felt very safe while staying at the condo and in the area. Marina is a short .5 miles from the condo - great exercise to jog/run around the marina - locals and tourists all friendly and nice. This condo and vacation spot is a MUST if you want to get away from everything, relax in the beautiful sunshine and rejuvenate! Thank you so much for making our vacation so memorable! Can't wait to visit again - hopefully soon!!

Lovely interior....much nicer than the listing photos showed. Super comfortable beds....great views from both decks....easy access to covered parking below ( elevator or stairs). After a busy day of swimming,shopping (Mega, Costco, Walmart and other very nice stores) and fishing, we would stay in and enjoy an evening dining on delicious grilled fish caught fresh that day !!! YUM, YUM !! We also really enjoyed hitting some super 'great food" restaurants ( several close by.), The wonderful ocean breezes were so incredible, that we would sit out some evenings on the deck and just relax!! We loved it all....Thank you for making everything so nice and convenient for us.We will recommend this condo to those we know . They will thank us! We are VERY Appreciated residents from the state of Utah.
