We had a fun three-generation family vacation in Houston in the museum district! The tree-lined streets in this residential area felt very safe, were very clean, and were quite welcoming. This home is less than a block from the children's museum, about a mile from the zoo, about 15 minutes from the aquarium, and about 15 minutes from the aerboreteum (which has a fun and unique playground). We were right around the corner from the beautiful and large Hermann Park. We really enjoyed the Japanese gardens which are within the Park and the many shady trails for exercising. The McGovern Centennial Memorial Gardens were quite nice as well and very close to the home. We also walked to the Health museum and the Fine Arts museum which were just down the street. Several HEB grocery stores were about 5 minutes away. The home is clean. There are so many large windows on the main floor to let in the wonderful natural light during the daytime. The windows are low enough that even the little children could easily check out the activity on the street! There is a closet full of fun toys and helpful children's accessories. It was great to have the gates in place so that we did not have to worry about children falling down the stairs. The hosts provided so many supplies: dishwasher detergent, paper towels, tissues, hand soap at every sink, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc - and plenty of all of it. No need to bring these things. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. The Weber grill was very nice to have. The hosts were super kind and very generous.

Loved the space to spread out and get privacy for the family members. It was everything we were looking for.

This property is clean, comfortably slept our large family and is walking distance to nearly every museum in downtown Houston. We immensely enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Houston because of this great rental. The house is perfectly set up for two families and I wasn’t nervous at all about my two toddlers running around because it is so child friendly. The outside space was also great for all of us and the pre-teens really annoyed the basketball hoop. The location is great, walking distance to Herman Park with the zoo and the train. And the Childrens Museum across the street is amazing! The hosts were responsive and great about being available if we needed anything (we didn’t, they had everything we could need, but it was so nice of them to be available). We absolutely loved this rental and it made it easy to travel with our 2 and 3 year old boys. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a family friendly place to stay. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Houston! We could walk to Rice University, run in Hermann park and eat at great places! The house is really roomy, homey, clean and close to everything we wanted to see. We had one slight hiccup with our door code the first night, but that was resolved within a few minutes and we had a great stay.

Location was amazing! Right next to the childrens museum, Herman park, and the science museum. Everything was kid friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
