We love Casa Panga and had the absolute best time! We stayed with a group of friends and had 5 kids under the age of 5 with us and it was a great spot for traveling with younger children.

In summary, our group of 6 couples agreed that our week at Casa Panga was THE VACATION OF A LIFETIME!! The house, the awesome grounds, proximity to the beach and surf, and the FOOD prepared by Raquel and Erica were fabulous. One week was barely enough time to truly enjoy what Casa Panga had to offer. We will be coming back, most definitely

We had a great time staying at casa Panga. The house was beautiful, very clean, and the staff were fantastic. I highly recommend it!

Six rooms ringed around a courtyard and a central dining area/relaxing space. A beautiful pool looking out over the ocean. This was an amazing space for six couples to get away and relax for a few days. It is a long-ish drive to Cabo and that is the only downside; if you forget something or need more drinks/snacks it is a drive to get back. Raquel and staff are amazing and helped make the stay relaxing as no one had to cook!

I can’t say enough about Casa Panga. The house and setting are both beautiful. Like a previous reviewer I would give it six stars if I could. In so far as myself and my family and friends of 14 individuals are concerned it was our best trip ever. Ford is responsive and easy to deal with and the house staff were the same. Raquel is a wonderful cook and her dinners were highlights of the day. If you go to Casa Panga I promise you won’t be disappointed.

We loved our stay at Casa Panga. It is a beautiful home and was set up perfectly for our family, two couples and two families with babies. There are two jack and jill bedroom suites that were perfect for the families and two masters with ocean view for the couples. The infinity pool and stunning ocean views kept us busy all day. The beach is just a staircase down and my grandchildren loved it. Whales entertained us all day. If you are looking for a more relaxing Cabo experience, Casa Panga is perfect. It's the only way we will visit Cabo going forward. Thank you Ford and Raquel.

This was our first stay near San Jose de Cabo. The beach was amazing and we all loved watching the whales breach all day. The experience was fantastic. I second the recommendation to try Flora Farms for dinner. That was our only outing and it did not disappoint. We had planned to try Zia Sushi but none of our party wanted to leave the house :). The top highlight was my wives 50th celebration dinner/party where Nico and his staff created a truly memorable experience. Just the arrangement of the table brought us to tears with so many nice touches. The meal was amazing. The bar tender was incredible, I learned a lot of new tricks. Overall a great experience and will be back again. The only feedback would be that there is a service charge of $20 per person per day for meals etc..., that surprised us. It wasn't a huge deal but it would be better if the listing was updated so that was clear.

We got the three brothers, the wives & all our kids to celebrate the first 40th in our bunch. This is a resort without all the resort drawbacks. Seriously. Going in January there whales playing right there all day long, baby turtles hatching every day (carefully avoided), butterflies & geckos, predatory birds cruising the air currents, donkeys & cows adventuring along the shore... unreal. Absolutely amazing. Steps directly to the beach, which is pretty much always empty, amazing food for every meal without having to leave. This place is solar powered! There's so many incredible things about this home I could write a book! Stay here. There is absolutely nothing to regret. We're already planning our next trip.

I rated Casa Panga a 5 only because I couldn’t choose a 6. Beautiful home, great service and a very responsive and helpful owner. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax.

Casa Panga was an amazing place to celebrate and relax with friends! Raquel and Maria did a wonderful job of cooking delicious food and taking care of our requests. Amazing property. A really good house with great flow for a group of friends. We loved our stay and will go again. And all of the comments about Raquel are spot on, she and her team do a great job cooking and keeping the place in order. And Ford the owner is super responsive to questions. One of our best experiences in Baja, and we've been going for years.

The home really feels like a resort, set up with a separate laundry room, AEDs, first aid kids, etc. All of the minor details were noticed! We hope to be back again, the location cannot be beat.

We took our three kids and 3 grandkids (6,3 and 1) to Casa Panga to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this month. I must admit my expectations were very high based on the price paid as this was by far the most we had ever spent for a nightly rental. Without exception, every expectation was met and exceeded! The house is just far enough from San Jose to discourage visits in to town by the younger ones. My goal was to keep everyone under one roof and believe me there was no need to leave the grounds. We saw whales breaching in the water, turtles hatching on the beach and had the sound of crashing waves on the beach to lull us to sleep at night. Everyone enjoyed the warm ocean, pool and jacuzzi in the daytime and the fire pit at night. The stars of the show were Raquel and her assistant Estrella. They tended to our every need and prepared us three wonderful meals a day in addition to making up our rooms each day. They were always available if we needed something but never in the way. The last night we were there I surprised my wife with a mariachi band to serenade us before and during dinner. Raquel arranged this for us and at 6 PM sharp a 7 piece mariachi group appeared. Wow! Words can’t describe the joy and good feelings that evening brought Even the little kids were mesmerized by these wonderful musicians. The house is tastefully decorated there was ample room for everyone in our group. We took the master suite on the right and awoke to an amazing sunrise each morning. The beach was virtually empty every day and we really felt like this was our own private paradise. I have received emails every day since we returned from the adult kids that are now having ‘ Casa Panga” withdrawals! Ford is a great owner and very communicative. We stay at VRBO properties frequently and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. The only night we left the property was for a dinner at Flora Farms which is about 25 minutes away. Wonderful farm to table restaurant which we highly recommend. Thank you Ford for allowing us to have “buen recuerdos” at Casa Panga!

We felt like it was always time for the next meal but we could never refuse one because it was all so delicious.I suggest never leaving the house. We barely did. Raquel and LIliana arranged for masseuses to come to the house and the massages were fantastic.There really aren't enough words. Just come to Casa Panga. It might change your life!

The property is amazing. Beautifully designed and decorated. All the conveniences one could ask for. Raquel and Raquelita are amazing cooks. We overate, over relaxed and over enjoyed every moment. The beach is steps below the infinity pool and never crowded. Our family of 14 could not have asked for more.

This was an amazing place! It was just what we were hoping for the two families after the wedding. Raquel and her daughter were awesome! The food was great we did not need for anything. The bedrooms and beds were clean and very comfortable. Everyone in the group were very happy with everything and can’t wait to go back.

We stayed at Casa Panga for (5) nights for a work retreat and had an amazing time. Beautiful home, fantastic food and service from the staff. We would love to come back again soon!

Fantastic! The food presentation and service was excellent. We came to Casa Panga after staying at one of the 5 star hotels and this was far superior. Beautiful sunrises and crashing waves. Our stay was way too short.

We were a party of 18 celebrating 40th birthday for my wife. House was beautiful and the service was out of this world. Ford was very accessible and arranged for a mariachi band on request. We would all stay again for sure!

This was our second time staying at Casa Panga and the experience was just as amazing as I remembered it. The house, food, service, and coordination/communication are second to none. This was the perfect place to stay for our relaxing group trip. We look forward to returning next year!

15 friends from all over the country converged here for a birthday celebration..Each when walking in to the courtyard and in to the main living area were speechless (except for one who never stops talking) as they surveyed the scene which overlooks the pool, patio and water! We couldn't have been more happy with our entire experience at Casa Panga! The quarters, food, genuinely friendly service and, again, the property. It was perfect! Casa Panga is the only option for staying in San Jose del Cabo if you want a perfect vacation. It is truly the entire package with the infrastructure, amenities, staff, and location. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms allows for everyone to have their own space while bringing you together in the beautiful courtyard and kitchen/living room. Once we got settled into one of two of the master suites with a postcard perfect view of the ocean, we met in the kitchen for fresh guacamole, margaritas, and micheladas prepared by Raquel and staff. We followed this with relaxing next to the infinity pool overlooking the ocean as the sunset created a warm glow all around us. Over the rest of the weekend Raquel and team prepared the most delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinners (all at our request) while keeping the entire place clean and welcoming. She also brought out pool floats and kayaks for us to the enjoy during the day. The night we went out was effortless as well. The location is so perfect as you are able to really get away and have privacy yet you still have easy access to the city and night life. Raquel was immensely helpful in helping us schedule rides/car pickup, massages at the house, and anything else we asked or requested. Thanks to the amazing staff and location I cannot wait to go back here and for another effortless, relaxing, fun, and enjoyable time with my friends and family.

Thank you so much for the most incredible reunion our group of friends has ever had. From the booking to check out and every amazing spoonful of guacamole in between, staying in your home was an absolute pleasure and a dream. The house is stunning! The accommodations are amazing. The location is wonderful, calm, quiet, serene, and spectacular. The service provided by Raquel and her family were nothing short of amazing. The food was incredible. The service impeccable. Thank you for making this week so special for all of us, kids and adults alike.

After a wonderful 2017 visit, we were disappointed this time. The house still looks just like it appears in the photos. It is beautiful, but there were issues with the staff. Last year Raquel and her family made us feel so welcome. This time was different. When we arrived we noticed 2 ceiling fans in the bedrooms didn’t work. The lamp cord in the master suite had a frayed lamp cord with exposed wires. The biggest difference though was that Raquel, who had been the heart of this home, was rarely there. Raquelita told us she’d taken a job caring for the house next door, although the house was empty. The meals were not as good. When we requested dessert we were told to buy it in town. ( a 45 min ride) Raquelita offered to make a birthday cake for my husband. That am she said she didn’t have time, suggesting we buy one in town. The whole fish stuffed with shrimp and cheese my husband requested from the menu turned out to be cut up white fish with no shrimp or cheese. On Friday and Sat. the normally quiet beach was filled with cars, tents and ATVs. The beach is public. No problem with that, but did not enjoy all the noise and traffic. Later we were told Raquelitas family was there and she was with them. Most of the time Maria was left on her own to take care of things. She did a good job, despite understanding no English. We got by with our limited Spanish but we could feel her frustration. She had the remote for the jacuzzi. Everyday you needed to ask to have it turned on. Often we would ask but had to wait until Raquelita returned to have warm water. When the timer went off, the same thing happened. When Raquel gave us her bill, we were each charged for an extra day, as well as the gasoline used for shopping. We did all of our own shopping except the initial trip.The food we purchased was shared by the staff. They took it home. We didn’t mind sharing, it was the same last year, but later when we saw the extra charges, we felt taken advantage of. Raquel must be paid in dollars, not pesos. This necessitated more trips to the ATM. The situation was awkward, making our last few days uncomfortable. Last year we paid all the charges and left a generous gratuity. It was worth every cent. This year though was quite different. Some of us cried when we had to say goodbye to Raquel and her family in 2017. Casa Panga is a lovely home. I hope these issues are resolved so that if you decide to visit, you can experience the 5 star experience we had in 2017.
