Everything was first class. Very comfy and relaxing. Time on the deck was the best. Only complaint was the lack of a Keurig coffee maker.

Three couples traveled to the Finger Lakes for thé Watkins Glen vintage race festival. Thé Château was exactly as described. Located on beautiful grounds, it was clean & well equipped with all the modern amenities. It was wonderful to have coffee each morning on the deck. We did not use the hot tub but maybe next time!! 5 stars

Everything was just great. Hot-Tub, Firepit, kitchen, bedrooms etc. as described and shown. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure.

The house and property was beautiful! It fit us 7 women very comfortably. We never had any issues running out of hot water either! The AC worked great too! Sleep in the basement bed if you really like it cold and you'll get the bonus of more space! The house is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots. etc. We really enjoyed our time and hope to book again in the future! Tip: bring clothes hangers for the closets and your own towels for the hot tub!

Other than a fussy coffee maker the house was great. Good location, comfortable and modern. Would highly recommend it.

Way more than what the two of us needed but it was available for our last minute trip. Great Location and amazing view especially at sunrise!

Overall, the house was very accommodating. Kitchen supplies were plentiful, except for an issue with the coffee pot. The pull out bedding had not been cleaned, but otherwise, bedding was comfortable. Overall, we would highly recommend this property.

Had an absolute lovely time! Great location, easy access and directions. Joleen is responsive in a timely manner and friendly. Missed the Christmas decorations this year but otherwise wonderful stay!

Nice house beautiful views neat and tidy. However it needed some deep cleaning. crumbs in all the drawers, dirty towel hanging on the back of the bedroom door. Some dirty door frames Disappointing that the hot tub was not clear even after it was serviced it was very cloudy.

We spent a long weekend staying here for a girls trip to tour some wineries. The property was phenomenal. There was plenty of space for seven adults. The deck had a lot of seating and the view was breathtaking.

My family and I just stayed at the Chateau in Himrod. This place is absolutely beautiful . We had a great time staying here and enjoying the home, wineries and breweries. We were a family of 7 adults. We all had plenty of room to sleep On this house. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely rent this Chateau again. Thank you!

This house is as beautiful inside as the picture is of the outside. Wonderful porch where you can sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This cabin was perfect for 6 adults. From this location we hiked, went to wineries and breweries, ate amazing food in Watkins Glen and in Geneva. At the cabin we used the hot tub overlooking the lake and had a fire in the fire ring, played pool, and just enjoyed time together. Everything there to sleep and eat and cook and be entertained. Never turned on the tv!! Having three and 1/2 bathrooms was super convenient. Thanks for a great place to stay!!

We used the house to attend and celebrate my son’s graduation from Cornell. It was perfect. Loved the house and lake setting and the wineries.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable house. Six of us (3 couples) stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect. The views of the lake and fire pit at night we’re seeing lovely. The location was perfect for wine tasting and exploring the area.

I booked this home after a family wedding in effort for my sons and their partners to spend a little extra time with us enjoying the area. We are no strangers to the FLX - so any time we can have a better view of it's beauty is ok by me! This home did not disappoint and is probably even better and brighter than the pictures. We took advantage of the hot tub on a dreary post-rain day and there was plenty of room for a cousin and her husband to join us for a dinner - Admittedly not used to a flat surface stove - but we made out alright in adjusting - and there were great tools for our one night of cooking needs. Everything was clean and comfy and really we have nothing but good things to say. We are big fans of Hermann Weimer so the proximity was fantastic - as well as being ideal to head north or south to any winery/distillery/ dining event. I had emailed the owners/managers regarding a recommendation for a caterer and they were quick with response and choices !! Greatly appreciated. Highly recommend for a getaway where you want a view and just want to spend time with the ones you love or exploring our beautiful region!
