This condo is awesome! My husband and I stayed here for about a week for our Babymoon. We wanted to bring our dog Sylvie to the beach before the baby comes and this condo was perfect! We loved that this unit is a ground-floor unit so it was easy to let Sylvie out or just walk out onto the patio and relax while looking at the ocean at the end of the day! We enjoyed the condo so much and are planning to come back with family next year.

We just completed our second trip to Turtle Dunes! The amazing view of the beach never gets old. Very comfortable and clean! The day we left my family wanted to know how soon we’d be back!

Everything as advertised. We have been to Amelia Island many times and this was by far one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed in. Communications between rental agent & us was top notch professional. Can't wait for our next trip.

Destination notified us a few days before our stay about some beach reclamation work going on in front of the condo. They offered a discount for the view obstruction and the trouble for having to go further down the beach to have time in the water. Condo was great. We would rent it again.

We recently visited Amelia Island and we can’t wait to return! The views from the patio are beautiful, even though you are on the first floor. The condo was comfortable and well equipped.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The ground floor walk-out unit was perfect for coming and going with our kids and our dog. There are incredible ocean views from the bedrooms and main living areas. The kitchen was well-stocked and the condo was very clean when we arrived. We ran into a small hiccup with our access/key code upon arrival, but it was resolved immediately and easily through the phone number provided to us prior to our arrival. The pictures in the listing are accurate. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Amelia Island sunrises are the best!

The location of this condo is superb- seriously amazing views (anytime of day), easy first floor access to lawn (we brought our 10 pound dog), beach and pool. The place is as it looks in the pictures. It was extremely clean when we arrived (even though I still wiped down all the counters and high touch surfaces!). Also there were plenty of sheets, linens, and towels along with beach chairs and an umbrella- which was great. Kitchen well stocked for cooking (no groceries only salt and pepper and coffee filters) but everything else was there. Also felt very safe here, and the condo is super convenient to engage in socially distant activities at the Omni plantation (Segway tours, fishing, etc).The bathrooms are a little dated but were adequate. We found beds comfy enough. Overall great place, but could be updated (furniture and bathrooms).

Turtle Dunes at the Villas of Amelia Island is one of our favorite properties. We have stayed there several times, and were so pleased to find a Villa in Turtle Dunes on VRBO! We had such an easy arrival with no check in at the main lobby, only at the security gate. Both of the bedrooms and the main living area had ocean views, where we were able to watch the sunrise from either indoors or on the patio. Our favorite part was that it had a beautiful green lawn next to the patio where our 7 year old played every day, and it was only steps to the beach. We can't wait to book this property again!

Our family greatly enjoyed our first visit to Amelia Island and our stay at Turtle Dunes. The photos posted online were an accurate representation of the property. The unit was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The only downside was that the listing indicate that there was a heated pool, however it was not heated. Our daughter was looking forward to swimming while on vacation, and we could not swim (we even bought wet suits and tried to go in but the water was too cold). Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the property exceeded our expectations.

Everything was very nice. We suggest that the toilets be replaced with adult size seating. The “child size” isn’t the best to use. The furniture looks comfy but after an hour our butts were sore. (We realize that this sounds nit-picky). We hope to rent this unit again in the fall.

This is a very dog friendly accommodation! Plenty of places to walk your pup with doggie bag waste stations along the way. The views from this unit were fabulous even though it is on the first floor. The space is plentiful. The decor, TVs and furnishings are outdated. The master shower was very small. The patio table and chairs were not cleaned prior to our arrival so in order to sit on the patio and enjoy the view and outdoors we had to clean the furniture first.

short walk to a gorgeous spot on the beach or the pretty, big pool. at the quiet end of the resort. we had a great time!

This was a great rental. The closeness to the beach was fantastic! We had a lot of fun.

Villa is amazing proximity to pool and beach with lush landscaping just off the patio. Villa was fully stocked with kitchen, laundry and beach supplies. Most people were respectful of social distancing and/or mask wearing on and off site.

This was perfect for our family. Pet friendly, on the first floor, walk right out the back door to the beach, beautiful views. Will look first for this unit to see if it’s available next time we go back to Amelia Island.

This property is nicer than the pictures suggest. The location is great- at the south end of the Omni Plantation. The first floor patio allowed easy access to the grass lawn , and yet just steps away from the beach. It felt private, unlike a lot of 1st floor units. The pool was very close too. We were able to ride bikes on paths shaded by live oak trees. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Very nice property but the master bedroom has shower about the size of a small phone booth. Entirely too small for my rather large body. We also would prefer being a little higher for ocean/beach view.

The villa is fantastic. Well furnished, clean, and great location. My only complaint is that the grounds need to be landscaped better, the pool needs access on both sides, and there needs to be a shower outside by the beach walk to rinse off. Other than that it was great and would certainly stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully appointed condo! The first floor location provided easy access to the beach, pool and car, and was perfect for our dog! The ocean view was stunning as well, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from the covered patio. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras including beach chairs, beach towels, and even plastic food storage containers in the kitchen! We hope to return to 1807 Turtle Dunes soon!

Beautifully decorated condo with wonderful views of the ocean from both bedrooms and the porch. Everything we needed! Updated with granite in kitchen, stainless appliances, and walk-in showers. Very comfortable, elegant furniture. Awesome pool. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable for us (in our 60's) and we wouldn't be able to return unless the mattresses were changed. It was the perfect place for us and our Jack Russell except for that darn mattress. Thought we had found the perfect Amelia Island rental.

Amelia Island is a beautiful quiet ocean front area. The Turtle Dunes area is wonderful. Get a golf cart rental right here at Amelia's Wheels and ride throughout the property. Got play putt putt, shop, and eat. This unit is very nice and clean. Super short walk to ocean and pool. Not a crowded area. Gated community.

Beautiful setting, couldn't have asked for more!

We were looking for a Dog friendly place at Amelia and this condo surpassed our expectations.

My husband and I and our Golden, Gracie, enjoyed a relaxing two-week stay at Turtle Dunes in this ground-floor 2B/2B unit. Kitchen and household supplies ample, with lots of towels for beach and bathrooms. Thanks for providing table and comfortable chairs and lounge for the outside patios. Spent lots of time there watching and listening to the ocean. We felt very comfortable in this clean unit, enjoyed watching the turtles and bunnies, and found the beach a short walk. Nice to see that beach umbrella and beach chairs were provided, though we had brought our own. Beautiful grounds and lots of paved walking trails made the stay even better. Ryan, property manager, was most helpful. Will come again.

This property was incredible and we loved being on the first floor with easy access to the beach and pool, yet we still had a great view of the ocean. They have everything you will need and I loved having a separate AC unit in the master since I like it cooler than others at night. Don't hesitate to book this villa. In the future, please have your guests send you the cell phone numbers to add to the booster ahead of arriving. It would have saved us some time and frustration since I forgot about it when we got there.

The unit is on the first floor of the Turtle Dunes condo development that is part of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. It is the furthest building away from the hotel, but is connected by tram and is only a short drive to the hotel and shops. We had our young granddaughter with us so we enjoyed being on the first floor that enabled us to quickly walk out on the grass to view animals (turtles, bunnies, deer) and it also made it easy to walk to beach and nearby pool. The kitchen is well furnished and has everything that you would need. Wifi is supplied and if you are Verizon or AT&T customer they have a booster that helps you get better telephone reception. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. There are ocean views from all rooms. The unit supplied beach towels and chairs. In addition to the beach, the condo unit has a very nice large pool with lots of lounge chairs. Overall, a very nice beachfront unit. We would visit again.
