Enjoyed staying at this property.

Very beautiful vintage home! Very good bed and furnishings. Close to everything! The only negative thing we were confronted with, was the driveway and parking area. Very overgrown with a need of a heavy cut back. We drove my husbands vehicle with less than 500 miles, and now he will need to have all of the scratches compounded. Otherwise, I would stay again, as long as I know to ask about the vegetation!

Loved walking to downtown Summerville. It was a great place to stay for my visit. It was perfect.

This was the second time we stayed at this property, although it was a different suite, but just as wonderful as the first! I am familiar with the area since I used to live there, and it is situated in a perfect location for easy access to anywhere you want to go. Very clean and well kept property!

Great historic house. Innkeepers attention to detail was second to none. Location is within walking distance to everything downtown. If you like Italian, definitely eat at Lara's. Really enjoyed our stay!!

The Magnolia Historic House was great. We stayed in the Flowertown Suite and found it to be everything we wanted and needed. The space was very clean and tastefully decorated, successfully keeping the southern charm while updating amenities. The location was perfect for our needs; close to stores, eateries, Charleston and our three grandchildren. Lauren was responsive to our needs and always available. I am recommending the Magnolia as the place to rent when visiting this area.

My husband and I first stayed here back in 2018. We were planning a trip to visit Charleston with some of our friends and we knew the perfect location to stay. So we booked another stay at The Magnolia Historic Inn! It was just as charming and welcoming as it was during our first stay. My husband even said that it feels like our home away from home. If you are looking for somewhere charming, romantic and peaceful - look no further! You will love your stay!

This was our 3rd time to stay at Magnolia House. All were great!

My husband and I try to escape a couple weekends a year to focus on our marriage and explore new places. We had never been to Charleston and were thrilled when we came across this cute little southern home about 25 minutes out of town. Justin and Megan are amazing hosts going the extra mile to surprise us with some goodies. The home was super clean, absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. It is also within walking distance from downtown Summerville which has an awesome coffee shop and several restaurants. Highly recommend!

And I got it. It was beautiful. I didn't get out much but, when I did, it was close by and didn't have to travel far. There should be some kind of drainage in the bathroom in case the tub water sloshed onto the floor ... I'm a big gal lol ... but that shouldn't stop anyone from staying here. I would definitely stay there again.

Very enjoyable and centrally located. Not exactly a “ quiet “ location but the rockers on the porch invite you to enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or a late night nightcap. The bed is super comfy and the suite was well appointed. It even had a 2 burner hot plate with a small skillet and small saucepan. Within walking distance to restaurants too.

The Flowertown suite in Summerville was our favorite stop on our anniversary road trip. The room is just beautiful with all the space and things you need. Just a blocks walk from restaurants and downtown shops. Recommend for a small town, laid back getaway. Also conveniently located near Charleston for easy access to all it has to offer as well.

What a sweet stay in a fun downtown. Walk to restaurants, shops and even a bookstore. Huge rooms, lots of light and a great front porch make this an ideal property.

Such a quaint place. Very clean and many extra special touches. The front porch is nice for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Lauren, the inn keeper was was quick to answer any questions. Wonderful stay! Will be back!

The suite was spacious and clean. Loved the attention to detail with water in the refrigerator and the sound machine. Lauren checked in often to make sure my stay was great.

This property was not only stunning and comfortable, but the host was very kind and available for us anytime we needed. We loved the place so much we even stayed an extra day! The location is perfect walking distance from many delicious restaurants, and it was still quiet at all times. If I ever come back to town for work, this is where we will stay every time.

We loved staying here and will recommend this place to our friends and family. It is a charming old house that is in a great location. Tons of unique and delicious dining options that we walked to just a block or two away in downtown Summerville. The property was very clean and we felt right at home.

We didn't venture far from home, but this was still a wonderful place to relax and get away. We have enjoyed every aspect of this house, especially the cleanness, fresh smell and cool air when you walk in, nice tub, porch hammock and the perfect location. We will be back some day I'm sure.

The charm, quaintness and integrity of the property is unsurpassed. Lauren, the property manager was there within minutes of requests. Enjoyed Summerville and the welciming social atmosphere it offers in spite of these virus laden tymes. As a host ourselves we are always looking to improve our offering and so our stay here only enhances our own ability to offer our guests the benefits learned upon our stay here..

Our trip to South Carolina for the Houses and Gardens tour in Charleston was a surprise get away for my wife as a 4th anniversary gift, and our first experience of southern hospitality with the Flowertown suite was excellent! We were exhausted from our travels and Lauren was incredibly accommodating in preparing the suite ahead of our scheduled arrival. Summerville was a pleasant surprise and we wish we would have spent more time here walking around. But, the surrounding plantations, which are perfect for experiencing the spring flowers, are all very close. The suite is just the right distance to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. We loved relaxing on the front porch and listening to the church bells in the morning. This has got to be one of our favorite Home Aways thus far!!!

My husband and I decided to have a weekend getaway to Charleston, SC. We have used VRBO for several of our trips and stumbled across this lovely suite in Summerville, SC. This was the first time that both of us had ever been to South Carolina and we instantly fell in love with Summerville. Walking into the suite was like walking into your home. Everything was perfect! Megan and her team really go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! From the personalized note card to the water and sweet tea in the fridge...everything was spectacular! The bed was extremely comfy (especially after our 6 hour drive!) And the entire suite is beautifully designed and decorated. If you are planning on staying here for a weekend trip or a week long vacation, don't even hesitate to book this location! You will not be disappointed!
