We absolutely loved our stay at the Island Breeze. The house was wonderful and spacious, perfect for our family of 5 with 3 teens. The private pool and side terrace were a real plus. The house had everything we needed and more, super comfy beds, a large smart TV, perfect for movie nights, and Barbara the owner had thought of every detail a family can need around the house, especially in the kitchen, which made our stay so much easier. The Island Breeze is perfectly situated, a short walk to a beautiful and protected beach where we got to enjoy birds, dolphins coming and going and even a manatee! a few minutes drive to the city center, the place is ideal for shopping and dining. Our favs, the donuts experiment, pizza social, the Sandbar for a cocktail at sunset, and the island fresh market for their beautiful fish. This time around we also took a kayak tour of the mangroves near Sarasota (45mn drive from the house) that was stunning. I would highly recommend the whole experience, it will definitely stay on our list of “let’s go again next year”! Thank you again Barbara for everything.

Barbara is a great hostess and answered all of our crazy questions (including where she got heather light in the dining room as we LOVED it - LOL) right away. The house is beautiful and well stocked as others mentioned. During COVID and the hot temperatures, we loved this oasis & hope to return!

Amazing house, owner was on top of everything: Kitchen fully Equipped Bathrooms renovated Everything for the beach in the garage Close to the beach Bedrooms are comfortable. The only suggestion that I have that could help with the temperature of one of the bedrooms is ti put a portable AC or a mini split. That would help a lot in that bedroom. Overall house is amazing We will definitely come back.

Island Breeze was beautiful clean and more room than the 3 of us needed. We enjoyed every minute we were there!!! The outdoor lani was fabulous and so clean and relaxing you will appreciate the palm trees that surround area. And it gives you the most beautiful sunrise every morning. I’ve never seen a home so close to the beach so clean!!!! Very modern, and the mattress very comfy we slept great!!!!! Central location we rode our bikes everywhere!!! Yes even to bean point!!!! Thank you Barbara we hope to use island breeze in 2021!!

I traveled to Anna Maria twice during the 2020 summer. My 1st stay was enjoyable and the property was fine. My 2nd stay was at Island Breeze and it was fantastic. There are a few reasons why this house is exceptionally done: 1. The layout of the 3 bedrooms gives everyone some privacy. I would describe the house as a tri-level. The front door, garage, and pool are on the ground floor. When you enter the home, you go up half a flight of stairs. That is where the enormous eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms are. The bedrooms are on opposite sides - perfect for privacy. You go up five additional steps to the 3rd bedroom that is over the garage. I have stayed in one-floor condos, multi-level housing, but none have had this layout and I don't know why. It allowed all of us to be up or asleep whenever without waking someone else (within reason of course.) 2. The extras. The owners were kind of enough to leave paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper, laundry deterg, shampoo and conditioners - FOR THE WEEK. One of my biggest complaints has always been that useable items get thrown away after each renter. Because the owners provided most of this, I wasn't buying items that I only needed for a week. That was so helpful and it saved money. 3. The pool is small BUT it has sunlight for 4+ hours. It is done in a tropical and cozy setting and worked as expected. There is an outside shower which I love. We weren't tracking as much sand through the house and we could rinse bathing suits with fresh water after pool and beach use. 4. The house is basically in the middle of the island so you can get where you need to go within 5-10 minutes - if that. 5. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone's back is different, but 5 out of 5 were comfortable here. 6. Other Activities. This house had many board games and really generous television programming. It does rain in FL so it was nice to have so many other things to do at the house. I would come back to this house. Alot of times I enjoy trying new places because it is vacation, but this one was so well done, I don't see the point when we go to Anna Maria of staying anywhere else.

It is located on a quiet street and is just a golf cart’s ride away from the beach, shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was the washing machine would pause and stop washing in the middle of cycles. The property manager said they would be getting a new one. We would definitely recommend this residence to anyone wanting to vacation at Anna Maria Island.

The home is wonderful, appointed well and lacks nothing to make your stay the best it can be. The owner is responsive with answers to questions and truly cares for you as a guest in her home.

This location is very central and a convenient spot to explore Anna Maria Island. Only a few blocks (10-12 min) walk to the beach. The home is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook & entertain. The backyard/pool area is cozy & there's a nice amount of shade for those who don't want to be directly in the sun all day. Barbara is a great host. Very responsive and accommodating.

We had a great time. The home is beautiful. The layout was perfect. The adults stayed on the main floor. The third bedroom is just far enough to allow older children some privacy. The pool is small but worked for us.

Island Breeze was by far the nicest property we have ever stayed in! The pictures show a beautiful property that is well-maintained; it is even more breathtaking in person. The property is spotless, very well-maintained, and has all of the amenities (and then some) that you would ever need. Barbara and her husband are extremely polite, accommodating and they were a pleasure to work with. They saw to it that our experience was fantastic! I would gladly stay at Island Breeze again. If you are staying in the Holmes Beach/AMI area, I would recommend staying at the Island Breeze. I can assure you that you'll be glad you did. If I could rate the property 10 stars, I would.

Beautiful home! Fully stocked for any chefs who enjoy cooking - didn't need for a single thing. Everything from flare- dining dishes - glass ware, utensils, pots and pans etc.. was top of the line. The beds and bedding were also fantastic. Nicest home e ever toyed in on the island. 100% +recommendation! Owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

House is very nice....... 1. Make sure that you take time when you arrive to thoroughly go through everything in the house. I was charged for breaking a toilet seat in the master bedroom that I did not break. Owner showed a picture of a hairline crack in toilet seat that I was charged for. I am sure that we did not break the seat, it was must of been like that before we got there and I never even noticed the crack 2. Water temperature and water pressure in master bathroom is a major issue (this has also been noted by other reviews) Its very hard to get the shower at a constant temperature, when you try to adjust the water temperature it goes to extremes and takes a long time to get the correct temperature back in place. 3. After you shower (even a real quick shower) it is almost impossible to shave in the sink because their is no hot water. Even if no one in the house has taken a shower, you still can't get hot water in the sink

Excellent home to enjoy Anna Maria Island

This house was perfect for our family and looked even better in person then the pictures portrayed. We had everything needed for a fun, memorable stay on Anna Maria.

Island Breeze has everything you could want or need for a perfect AMI vacation. The great room has a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for dining and a cozy television area. The beautiful bedrooms have comfy linens and plenty of closets and bureaus. We loved spending time in and by the pool. For beach days, towels, chairs, an umbrella and beach toys were all available. A perfect place for a getaway with family or friends! We hope to return!

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there. The kitchen was stocked with spices and basic cooking supplies. We had lots of fun swimming in the pool especially our two year old grandson. The owner/manager was very accommodating and worked us with to schedule the delivery and pick up of baby equipment that we rented.

We had a wonderful time on Anna Marie Island. The house was great. The weather was chilly so we didn't get to the beach much. Lots of shops and restaurants to try. Would definitely stay at this house again if we return to the area.

We were provided with everything we needed to check-in easily and be welcomed into this lovely home on Anna Maria Island. The house has a well-stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, many different cooking supplies. It had a Keurig. It had more of the basics that you need than any other rental property we have stayed at. However, since we have kids (9, 11, 19), most of the dishes were thick glass and it would have been good to have more plastic or Corelle-type options. The washer/dryer and dishwasher worked great. The living room was very comfortable for our family, and we brought our Roku to connect to Amazon and Netflix. There is no game system, but there are a few older family board games to play and cards, which we made use of because we were there during Tropical Storm Emily, so we had a lot of indoor family time. However, when they could, the kids still enjoyed a lot of time outside in the pool. While a small pool, they still had a blast. Other reviews have mentioned issues with the hot/cold water control. We noticed this with the shower in the master bedroom - it either seemed to be very hot or go to cold if you turned it down, but it wasn't that much of an issue for us. We aren't sure if the same issue applied in the other bathroom as the kids didn't complain. If you have young kids, note the pictures - there are no bathtubs. My kids were a little disappointed about this as they love baths. But they still loved the house. We weren't sure whether we should rent any equipment ahead of time for the beach, and I decided to wait until we got there, except for a golf cart. The kids loved riding on the cart. The garage had all kinds of things that you would need for the beach - a big umbrella, lots of lawn chairs, an upright push cart (we never used that so I don't know how well it works), toys for the sand, noodles, lots of boogie boards. There may be more things - I didn't dig through everything there. The reason we almost didn't select this home with was that there was not a king size bed in the master bedroom. My husband is very tall, so the bed was a little small for him, but he still slept well. We would definitely want to stay again at this beautiful home and would highly recommend it.

We have 2 small children under age 6 and they really enjoyed the small heated pool. There are a flight of stairs as you enter the house and a few steps up to one of the bedrooms. The home was well taken care of, nice amenities, and good sized rooms. There is a safety alarm out to the pool on the back door, which was good with us having small children. Getting back into the house from the pool sets the alarm off every time, which was quite loud until you shut it off with the inside sensor code. A new Keurig arrived quickly since it wasn't present when we checked in due to it breaking, so we appreciated the quick follow through. The beach is close and we did use the beach chairs, umbrella, and sand castle toys. Overall we really enjoyed the home and would definitely come here again. The fireworks show on the beach close by for the 4th of July was outstanding!!
