Stayed for 4 nights with my teenage son. The accommodations were perfect for us - spacious, airy, secure, and comfortable. Misha answered all questions quickly before our stay so that everything went smoothly during our stay. Walk to beach is less than one block. There are no words to describe how lovely Alicia Beach is. Our only complaint about our stay was that it was much too short!

We spent a week here and it was in a perfect location - 2 minutes one way to Playa Alicia and 10 minutes the other way to Sosua Bay. There are lots of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk and we enjoyed some great food. The mercado is only about 5 minutes away and they have everything you need if you want to make your own meals in the condo. The condo was very comfortable with everything you would need for your stay (dishes, towels, wi-fi) and the guards were very nice with big smiles all the time. Misha, the owner, was very helpful and responded to all our questions very quickly. It was a little noisy a couple of nights but overall we loved our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We love the Sosua area, but with such a bad experience with our condo rental last year there, we were very hesitate about returning. Well we sure hit the jackpot this time. This luxury condo has everything anyone would need. It is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, feeling just like home. There is every amenity that you would ever need, all in perfect condition and the condo was absolutely spotless. The beds were very clean and comfortable with nice new linens and we had plenty of beautiful thick fresh towels. We had most of our meals at home and the kitchen had absolutely everything you need for cooking. The housekeeping, security guards and gardener were all very delightful, friendly and very eager to please. If you needed anything at all they were happy to help. The owner also check in often to see if there was anything we needed. The condo has two beautiful balconies to enjoy your meals or afternoon cocktails while taking in the beautiful scenery of the gardens and the pool. Plenty of birds singing and a nice shaded breeze from the huge trees. The hummingbirds were a special treat feeding off the giant clematis vines climbing up all the trees. The pool is cleaned everyday and very refreshing for the hot afternoons. The location of the condo is perfect, a few steps from the beach, around the corner from restaurants, bars and shops, but yet tucked away for privacy and any noise at night. Again, perfect! We have been home only 2 days and miss it already, it felt like home away from home. Highly recommend this rental and we will definitely be returning.

My husband and I stayed in this small but lovely two bedroom condo for eight nights. The condo and furniture were just as they appeared in the photos. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the combination safe deposit box provided was invaluable. As you can't drink the tap water in the DR, having a purified water dispenser in the condo was another plus. Hispaniola Sol is on a quiet street and the security guards there are particularly friendly and helpful. During our stay, we did have a maintenance issue in the condo and texted Misha, the owner. He responded promptly and addressed the problem. When my husband and I return to Sosua we would not hesitate to stay here again. All in all, a good value.

This is the second time we have booked the condo. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and has a great location in the centre of Sosua so you do not need a car to get around. We will be back!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed 3 nights in the condo. Everything was just as advertised and the photos on the website were exactly as the rental indicated. We really enjoyed the balcony and having our meals that we cooked in the kitchen out on it. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean and modern. "The apartment was a perfect accommodation for our stay in Sosua. The apartment was extremely spacious and clean. It was only 3 min walk to the strip. There was a supermarket just 5-10 min away and also a restaurants. The apartment kitchen was well equipped and the security was very friendly."

The condo is beautiful with Wifi and cable TV. Everything i needed to make my stay stress free was provided. The decor was unique and classy. I will stay here again

just returned from hispanolia Sol after staying at the other two I liked this 1 best for the following reasons 1 in-town location 2 great pool 3 responsive Owner : its the Caribbean and minor issues do arise he handled everything quickly

The condo is nice and in a great location. The security guards are very friendly and helpful. There is a tenant in the unit directly below that will complain if there is noise including "loud" music, too much partying or door slamming. Respect the house rules and you'll be fine. The deal breaker for me is the landlord, who did furnish them upon request, does not typically supply washcloths as do all hotel and luxury rental accomodations do in generous supply and is not clear about that at the time of rental. I don't like unpleasant surprises on vacation. In an already humid and warm climate there is no a/c in the living room so it feels like a sauna most of the time. There is also no access to the washer & dryer in the unit as they are exclusive use by the housekeeping personnel. I paid for luxury and received a deluxe level accomodation. I would only recommend this rental if the items contained in this review are not important to you. I think the price point is good only if you know whats included or more importantly, what's excluded from the price. I would only stay again if changes were made to the identified concerns. For these reasons a 2-star review is justified based on my experience.

Place is very well maintained. Conveniently located. I was within minutes of my destination, the beach and the dive shop. Very close to the airport. Loved it.

The condo was in a great location and looked exactly like the photos. It's a great place to stay if you like your quiet time and then want to walk a couple blocks to the entertainment. The only thing we needed were additional wash cloths but it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again!!

This 2 bedroom condo is exactly as advertised. It is clean, quiet and very secure.It is a 5-10 minute walk to anything that you desire...beaches, restaurants and shopping. The guards are very friendly and efficient. The owner was in constant contact and his contact in Sosua lives right across the street if you have any questions or concerns. This is my second stay at Hispaniola Sol and I definitely plan to return again.

I was extremely impressed with how neat and clean the place was. The decorations and home furnishings were really nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed and more to prepare a meal. It was truly a home away from home experience. The guard staff was really nice, they did a great job keeping us safe.

I have been waiting to write my review because I wanted to keep it to just the facts and calm down. This is not my first time in the Dominican Republic nor my first time using VRBO. I had 2 friends arrive and stay in the condo 3 days prior to my arrival. They were unable to take a warm shower as no one could get the hot water to work. The maintenance person tried, along with security, and the womanl Misha uses as a manager that is across the street was completely useless. When I arrived I looked and found a 10 Gallon hot water heater under the sink and everything looked normal with that. Since it was hardwired I could not check if there was power but I suspected that was the issue. The AC is massively under performing as the condensers are on the ground floor. We had to keep the front door and the sliding door in the living room open trying to get airflow. If there was no breeze it was over 90 degrees in the condo. We would eat on the balcony outside as it was pretty much unbearable inside even at 10:00PM. If you wanted the bedrooms to cool you had to keep the door closed to the bedroom and run the AC for at least 30 mins to get the room to a decent temperature, also you had to make sure the bathroom door was closed as well or it would not cool off. There is a lock on the Circuit Breaker box so when the cleaning person come over she takes the lock off and flips the breaker for the Washing Machine so she can use it. I think that Also controls the Water heater or the cleaning lady accidentally tripped the breaker for the Water Heater too. After 2 days of no Internet and talking with the gal across the way and getting no where, I sent an email to Misha from my friends room that was on the first floor. His gal was there within 30 mins with an attitude, and goes right to the breaker box. Bingo, Internet, Hot Water..... Does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the problem. The last issue was having to be there when the condo was cleaned and laundry done to make sure nothing was stolen. I am sorry but if you do not have trust in your cleaning staff or you think your clients will say something is missing then don't be in the rental business. I wasted half a day of my vacation because I had to baby sit your employee. For the record she is a very nice lady and I would have had no problem with her cleaning the condo without my being there. There are no curtains on the windows in one bedroom. I had to tape aluminum foil on the windows to be able to sleep in.

Stellar safe condo very tastefully furnished in an ideal location. The property is steps from a beautiful beach & restutants/bars. Misha was a pleasure to deal with & the condo security staff where very pleasant accommodating individuals. I would definitely stay here again on my next vacation. N
