We're a family of 4 with two young boys (7 and 4) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at The Old Byre in August. We fount the cottage to be well equipped and spotlessly clean which was a welcome touch in these pandemic times. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the start. The cottage is at the top of a hill with very nice views and perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunset. Great place to stay and definitely recommended! A cosy little property, excellently equipped and well placed for the Peak District.

Everything we needed for a short break in the Peak District. Beautiful property, with stunning views and everything that we needed for our family break. Well equipped kitchen, good shower, nice and cosy lounge with wood burner, very friendly hosts. Great location for walking and climbing.

Had a great few days at The Old Byre. The views are amazing and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The accommodation is comfortable and very well equipped.

The hosts of the Old Byre as soooo nice and helpful, this, on top of the charm and coziness of the cottage made it the perfect place for our mini-break. Highly reccomended

Delightful, cosy little place full of character with a superb view. Very well equipped and comfortable. Wonderful hosts/owners. A part of the world we plan to return to to explore more and will certainly want to stay here again, for longer.

Lovely cottage, very thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable beds and furniture, a well appointed kitchen and bathroom, and a sheltered outside seating area with fabulous views over the valley. The owners live in the nearby farmhouse, are very friendly and willing to chat, but always left us to ourselves unless we approached them. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a week during May. 2 adults and 2 children with a dog. The cottage was clean and welcoming on our arrival, complete with a plate of shortbread! Just the right size for us and convenient for all the sights of the Peak District. Everything we needed was available and our hosts were lovely. Thank you!
