The house was an absolute blast.Capitan Mike was a great host and answered my questions and kept in contact with me.The house offers so much to do, go check out the Pirates Cave! There was also plenty of space for the family and friends. Within walking distance to the beach and plenty of other businesses along the way. Beautiful house. You have to see it for yourself. 😉

We stayed here for family reunion. This house is fabulous! We enjoyed our family being all together. We hosted our extended family for a shrimp boil. Captain Mike is wonderful to work with. We plan to be back next year.

We had a wonderful time here with our family and friends for 5 nights! Captain Mike is AWESOME. He was always available to chat and answer questions and give advice. He has poured his heart and soul into this home, and it shows. We had a blast! Thank you!

This was the easiest stay I ever planned and booked. There is nothing you need that is not provided here. Our grands loved the basement. Wonderful, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything you could possible need. It is perfect for large group! I loved it and I will be back!

The accommodations were excellent…plenty of room for 15….the kids loved the pirates cave and so did we…did not use any of the cooking untensils or grills but everything was there if needed…excellent place to stay….will rent again

Beautiful home, Great location, comfortable beds, and SOOOo much fun to be had!!! This special Pirate gem has everything you could possibly need and more. It is well equipped with entertainment of all kinds, board games, darts, pool, karaoke and even bikes to ride down to the beach to explore. After you've played hard and it's time to relax this comfy home doesn't disappoint. The oversized chairs, cozy nooks and delightful beds made it easy to wind down. We loved our stay at Pirate Captain Mike's home and made so many memories to cherish!

Our family decided to meet in the middle (driving) for Christmas! The house was nice. Everything was provided such as linens and housewares. The pirate theme was awesome and the kids loved it. Lots of recreation for them when we were not out and about. The location was central to the strand and the beach - we walked to both. The owner was very informative and took great detail to provide everything we needed for our stay. We definitely would stay again and We highly recommend staying here!!! Loved our holiday.

There was room for us to spread out and so many fun things to do on property. Our group absolutely loved dressing up for Dickens and taking photos on the front porch. We had so much fun... its the perfect place!

Amazing stay. First and foremost the house is beautiful. And the pirates cave is amazing. Lots of games and music downstairs. The owner was checking in on us everyday making sure if we needed anything. 10/10 will be staying here again very soon

We thoroughly enjoyed Captain Mike's pirate cave. Many many hands of poker (that I mostly lost), pool table matches (again I mostly lost), and a great environment to enjoy our family gathering and sweet 16 birthday party for my niece.
Mike was always available and stayed in contact thoughtout our stay. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Thanks Mike!

Our friends and I stayed here over the weekend and at first we are looking forward to our stay, but upon arrival we were blown away at how much better this place was in person, than in the pictures online. Not only is the host super amazing and has practically everything you need there for your stay, he definitely went above and beyond furnishing the home and it definitely shows. Go ahead and confirm your booking, you definitely won’t regret it!

My 17 year old daughter and her friends wanted to go to Galveston for a couple of days of spring break. We found this house and it was a real nice surprise when we walked through front door. The pictures didn’t really do it justice. It was clean and very homey, and so much room! The owners were really awesome and so responsive. Always quick to get back to you.

The house was wonderful and Capt. Mike’s pirate cave was the best. We always had something going on. Foosball, dart and ping pong tournaments all weekend. The location was awesome and our host was gracious throughout.

In general, the house is nice and clean, good location, great game room. Unfortunately, the master bedroom seems to have bedbugs, we ended up with bites and we are afraid they traveled in our clothes and luggage .

Perfect for Thanksgiving. We have a large family and rented this house so everyone could fit in one spot. Mike was awesome to work with and provided and excellent experience.

We could not have found a more perfect place to host our wedding reception! No detail was missed and we had everything we needed and more. From the back yard and comfortable bedrooms to the pirate cave and endless games, it was a BLAST! Mike was the BEST host and even met us to see the house in advance of the event which really helped us in planning. Our entire group loved it and the location couldn’t be more convenient with quick access to the beach and Strand. 10/10 would recommend for any large party trip or event in Galveston!!!

We had a large variety of ages and interests, and we were universally happy with the stay. The teens and pre-teens loved the pirate cave. Adults enjoyed the great location and space. Overall a wonderful family gathering!

Fun setup for calm and quiet or rough and rowdy while neither type disturbing the other. Great communication with the owner (i.e., informative and prompt in responses). Pretty much anything we needed was available in the home. Overall, great experience and I'd definitely return ro this property in the future if I find myself in the neighborhood again.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Broadway Palms over the past weekend with my family and friends, and I have absolutely no complaints!!! The house exceeded my expectations from start to finish my guests enjoyed themselves as well!!! Great communication with property owner. We surely will be back.Truly had a great weekend

Now let’s get to the best part which is down stairs. The place to hang out if you don’t want to go around town or want to stay in for the night. There was a pool table, foosball table, darts, poker table, craps table and ping-pong. He also provides things for the beach and adult size bikes to ride.
