Cottage was very clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is lovely and good for walking a dog. Heather was very helpful with restaurant suggestions ; Dragon River had excellent food!

It was a great place to stay but the owner was out of town and Sean was helping. Our AC window unit wouldn’t work but he was very helpful. The listing needs updated photos. Everything was different than the photos.

Luckily we only booked one night. The pictures are very deceiving! It looks like there are different spaces and the house is secluded...no! It is all one room. The only water is in the bathroom. There was no hot water for showers. The hot tub was between the rental and their house so we didn't feel comfortable to use it. We had to walk past all their house windows to go to the rental because it is so close to their house. Prior to our check in, I had sent three messages to the owner that were never responded to (I wasn't asking questions or anything, but there was no acknowledgment). The mattress was falling through the broken slats in the bed frame and it was so wiggly and uncomfortable. We always try to avoid sleezy cheap hotels and so we started doing vrbos instead.... should have just found a cheap hotel.

I love the aumbiance of the place! The fairy lights and flameless xandles make it feel safe and cozy. Everything is just as expected!

We loved our stay at Heather’s place. It was perfect for myself my husband and our two dogs. Great shower and comfortable bed. We walked our dogs all around the neighborhood and nearby lake and park. The best part was how quiet it was at night! We will definitely be back, as our son lives close by.

Heather was quick to respond to me with all my questions. Though the place is next to her house she gave us privacy and it felt like it was just us. The place is surrounded by trees, it feels like you’re staying in the forest; it’s so quiet. When we got there Heather showed us how to use the zip-line and had kind words for I was feeling old due to my birthday. It was relaxing wooded get away yet close to restaurants. PS the heated bathroom floor rocks!

Wow, what a beautiful place. Feels very secluded and private. The hot tub was a great bonus. Zip line and giant swing! Very quiet and perfect getaway from the city. Highly recommend.
