The staff was very helpful and polite, the room was clean and cozy. The jets in the tub didn't work but everything else was perfect!!!! We will be staying there again.

We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the ocean, a nice sitting area, kitchen and easy access to the convention center. It was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Sands in Virginia Beach. Peter is a great communicator and was quick to answer our questions. The property was exactly as described and perfect for a quick getaway for two!

The whole experience was nice. The booking, correspondence with owner, and the check in process were all top notch. A+ all the way! The unit was very clean with comfy beds, and televisions in each room. The kitchen had everything we needed on those days that we opted to stay in and cook. And the bath room was spacious, well lit, and had a jetted tub. I wouldn't hesitate to book with this owner again, and will refer all my friends/family. Thanks again, for helping to make this much needed vacation a nice one!

The Ocean Sands resort was a perfectly located resort right on the beach. The building is a little dated, but the condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The check-in was very easy and they even allowed us early check-in. The garage parking was convenient and very close to the unit. Every single person we met at the resort went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. It’s a great property for the value. We’ll definitely be returning.

We took a mini vacation to VA Beach and stayed at this location. Perfect spot. Beach wasn’t extremely busy, right on the Boardwalk, and a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

Everything went well during our stay regarding the staff and the room. However we were just very unlucky as our next door neighbors loudly, and I mean loudly, fought during our entire stay! We called the desk late one night and the staff were really nice.

This room was “SMALL” and I mean tiny. It would have been perfect for 2 people but stating it sleeps 4 people is terribly misleading. There is a sofa bed, but the room is so small that when you pull out the sofa bed it blocks the only way to the bathroom. You cannot get by. My room was also extremely dirty. I had to sweep it myself to get the sand off of the floor. The balcony has 2 chairs but no table to put your coffee or drink on. To get a towel for the pool which is on the 6th floor, you had to go all the way to the 1st floor lobby and get them and then trek all the way back up to the 6th floor. The main hotel elevator was broken down for half a day. Imagine lugging your beach gear all the way to the other end of the hall to catch the only operating elevator only the again lug it all the way to the opposite side of the hotel to the only door that leads outside to the beach. My only compliment is that the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant.

Our annual Virginia Beach vacation in our favorite resort. No longer have access to in laws time share, this listing gave us the routine and tradition of staying in our summer beach home!

Our room was very clean. The view of the ocean from the balcony was great. I will stay again if there is availability.

Tried to check in and was told I was not in computer. Showed my proof and the 2 females working left me standing there with no help and were worried more about getting off time. The 2nd shift male came on duty and had been listening and could not believe how I was treated and helped me get a room. 611 room advertised houses 4 . I had to sleep on a pull out sofa bed and their was nothing but springs sticking in my back. I had to take cushions and put them together to allow me to keep from sleeping on floor. So disappointing. Good news was ocean view.

Everything was awesome

A little outdated but otherwise very nice!! The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodated. Location was perfect got to see dolphins every morning everything is in walking distance. I loved that the pool is not by the front desk I hate that about hotels

I rented this property for Neptune festival. That got canceled. Went to the condo anyway and it ended up being a very nice weekend.

Really enjoyed our stay. We had read previous reviews giving negatives due to the property needs to be upgraded. Yes it is an older property and yes it may be time for an upgrade but the overall value for the price is well worth it. Property and the room was clean. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant and it was very good. Having a suite with a full kitchen and refrigerator was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This property is in a prime location right on the Boardwalk. Unfortunately the building is in sad disrepair. The bathtub is very old and it is very high to get in the shower. Picture a room that was once very nice in the 1970’s and you will get a good idea of what your accommodations will be like. On the plus side the staff is very friendly!

It was so awesome to be able to see the ocean right from our room! The 14th floor view is breathtaking. Property description was accurate. Elevator was easily accessible and parking in garage right on property was great! Quiet stay. Nice amenities. Indoor pool & workout equipment on site as well. Check in and check out was a breeze!

In renting this condo the description is fairly close to beach, it has bedroom bath etc. The problem with this unit is there is a shared door in the bedroom which leads to the neighbors bedroom. Unless you are renting the other room YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING IN THE OTHER ROOM!!!!!. we arrived and everything went well initially. We went to bed and at 3am we heard the people in the other room talking for 2 hrs!!!!. Then it got worst as they engaged in other adult activities. It was a horrible experience. We called the front desk explained the situation and got a room change. The new room was 100 times better. The shared door was in the living room and not in the bedroom and you couldn't hear anything. The replacement room had new lament floor unlike the original room which had carpet that looked very old and uncomfortable to Walk on because it looked dirty. I would not recommend staying in the original room. Unless they renovate it and change the location of the shared door and replace the carpet and bed in the room. In all it a time share place . I hate writing bad reviews but I don't want anyone to experience what we went thru. The building is in a great location you can walk to many things. The staff is nice and they stay out of your way. The parking lot is spacious and convenient to go to and from the room. The views from the room are great of the boardwalk and the ocean 🌊. But the building is old and is in need of some TLC and upgrades. Also the original room is above a restaurant/bar and they play music till 12:30am which depending on your sleeping habits may not be bad but it can be disturbing. The higher room we got later had no issues with hearing the restaurant. Also the bed in the original room was horrible and sank in the middle. Beware when booking this room.

I had a nice stay

The condo was as described and what I expected. A little age worn but comfortable. Great view with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The shower curtain was just a cloth curtain with no plastic liner which got things a little soggy, but the linens and towels were in good shape and very clean. We had awesome weather and got to enjoy the beach and local restaurants as well as time spent with our youngest son. Overall a nice relaxing get away.
