The hosts were great, very accommodating, answered all her questions promptly and everything was great. I would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter and her fiancé wanted a small destination wedding. Colorado Springs has been a favorite vacation place for our family for years. The house and surrounding property were absolutely stunning! Lots of extra wedding decor to use and a great hot tub and fire pit! Plus lots of games in the garage area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Alyce has a wonderful home that we used as a vacation home and our small wedding venue. It has everything you would need to be able to host that small, intimate wedding you are looking to have.

Alyce's place was perfect for our group to celebrate a friend's 75th birthday. Beautiful setting, great amenities, and very clean. Also Alyce kept in great communication with me. I would definitely recommend this place!

The most magical house to have a wedding at whether it rains, snows or sleets. The house as is has its own beauty and does not need additional things done to it. Fit about 10 people comfortably in between the rehearsal and wedding both being at this house. Don’t hesitate, this house is AmAzInGgG! You will NOT regret it.

Overall I liked staying at this property - the loft makes it feel like you’re in a fancy treehouse inside of a house and it’s absolutely beautiful, the hot tub was lovely, and there were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. However, I think the hot tub was dirty or there were bed bugs or something on the property because I came back from my trip there with itchy red bumps all over my stomach; the host started us off with 4 trash bags total for a group of 11 people for an entire weekend and had no extras so we had to purchase them ourselves; each bathroom only had max half a roll of toilet paper and there was no other toilet paper in the house so we had to purchase more ourselves; the cleaning instructions at check out were fairly intensive but we still had to pay a cleaning fee and I personally feel it’s one or the other. I think it wouldn’t have cost the hosts that much to have provided trash bags and toilet paper so we didn’t have to go out of our way to purchase them. It’s a small thing but it does affect how people view the house when you refuse to provide basic necessities that will last long enough for a large group. Also the trash can and dishwasher are pretty small for the size of the house and amount of guests that can stay there.

Shared a “white Christmas” with family great location and owners so nice to put up Christmas tree for little ones! Definitely a do over great place!

The property was beautiful and the owners were very accommodating to some accidental miscommunication on my part in the initial planning process. We had a large group of people staying for the weekend leading up to our wedding day. The owners had a beautiful supply of event accommodations that were part of their event package and all of our guests raved about the home. The owners even set up and took down all of the major furniture needed for the ceremony/reception. The master suite was stunning and all of the rooms were very cozy and comfortable for our guests!

This was a great experience start to finish. Alyce was easy to reach and responded almost immediately to my questions. We had my daughter's wedding here and Alyce was so helpful with all the details. The hot tub was amazing, the wifi worked perfectly, everything was ready for us. My daughter loved the upstairs room, it had plenty of space to get ready for the wedding and provided for beautiful photos. Everyone had a great time. It is a wonderful wedding venue with beautiful wood throughout. I could go on and on about this place! Thank you, Alyce, for a wonderful experience!

Wow, our dream wedding came true at the 1c barn. Every detail at this venue is incredibly special and added uniqueness to our wedding. Our guests were incredibly surprised by how gorgeous the venue was. We hope to come back soon for one of our anniversaries! Thank you!

The whole experience was first class. The owners were very hospitable and accommodating. We had a blast. Perfect property for a small group. God bless this home.

The rustic barn feel with all the warm under-floor heating was great. The gas fireplace made for cozy talking in the living area. We loved the kitchen and dining area, as it was fully equipped and we could all 18 sit down to eat at once and be together. Lots of games and areas for the kids to play ball, jenga, cornhole, etc. and make noise in the garage. We could drive to a nearby park to hike and play football. But not really safe to hike on the nearest road. I would say that the place could use a few more couches and beds for longer stays, but for weddings and dancing, it is perfect. The washer and dryer and hot tub got lots of use! WE loved our time there with our family reunion.

It was a beautiful property and we never wanted to leave but when we did to go exploring it was never far from getting back home for the night. Comfortable. Great hosts. 100% would come back again

We loved staying here! We had a large group of 14 for a wedding renewal. Plenty of room and fun activities for the kids including a cubby hole downstairs, lots of bedrooms and a wonderful outdoor spa. Great experience, would highly recommend this home!

We had our wedding party and rehearsal brunch here at the gorgeous 1C Barn. It was so clean and Alyce was so nice and easy to talk to. She made sure to have the tables and chairs ready to go for our rehearsal and was super easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Such a gorgeous place we had so much fun staying here! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing!! Family vacation to colorado and there were 15 of us. Kitchen and seating in kitchen was perfect for our big group. Living room was very nice, with our big group it would of been nice to have 1 more couch in there for comfortable seating, but there are plenty of folding chairs. When we arrived there, the ping pong table was broke, which the kids were bummed about. Owner was notified and she came over right away to check it out. This whole house was clean and easy to make our own for the week! Hot tub and outside patio area were also amazing!! No neighbors close by which was very nice as well!! This place was close to all we had planned for our stay! Beautiful home♡ thank you Alyce!!

Throughout the entire process from booking to check out, everything was fantastic. Communication was always prompt and when I needed a quick change to our setup, things were taken care of extremely fast. Even when we had already checked out and I discovered I left some items behind, I was able to go back and grab them with no hassle. Friendly and amazing hosts made for a perfect experience.

Such an amazing place for a family vacation. Beautiful home with many things to do for all ages. Great location and outstanding views. Highly recommend this home and we would return to this location. Homeowners were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

We had such a great time and the place was perfect! There was a group of 17 of us including some dogs, everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all of. The house was set up with enough tables that we all were able to seat down and enjoy several meals together. We found a couple little great spots to sled and enjoyed hanging out in the garage with the ping pong table and huge jenga! Perfect weekend getaway and appreciated that we were able to communicate directly with the owner when we needed to! Clean and very good location. The place will not disappoint!

We are a worship team from Centennial, Colorado and having been running the races for the last 8 months. We were looking for somewhere close by where the team could just have a couple days to relax and be refreshed at a LOW expense! I reached out to Alyce about her property and she made some amazing accommodations resulting in a successful trip! We will definitely be using this place again in the foreseeable future!

Alyce and David have truly created a gorgeous venue and we were so thrilled to have been able to book our intimate wedding there last week. The house is cozy and spacious, and was able to accommodate 35 adults at our wedding comfortably. Everyone wanted to come hang out all week! When we arrived, the tables were already setup but we wanted an extra. Alyce and David showed up within a few hours to setup another table and were so welcoming! I was able to text her with any questions I had and knew I would get a response within an hour.

Alyce's place was amazing. We stayed there during the new year holidays and we couldn't ask for a better place. The home is very beautiful with all the wooden designs and the amenities was enough for our group of 16. Hot tub is a very nice addition to the place, specially in the snowy nights of Colorado. Moreover, the are no immediate neighbors so you can have your fun during the night without disturbing anyone. All in all, one of the best places I have stayed. Highly recommended.

We spent the weekend at the house and hosted a small wedding on the property. The house is full of gorgeous rustic details with plenty of space for tables and dancing. The ceremony space worked out perfectly, and they are able to provide all of the household items needed to host an event. If you are hosting an event, make sure you read the contract and ask clear questions. There was some miscommunication regarding some details that caused a last minute shuffle, but we were able to work it out. All in all, beautiful house, great for a wedding and plenty of space for a family to stay.
