Comfortable place to stay. A couple of nits: Watch out for the unmarked “trip” step going into the laundry. All four of us stumbled more than once. Easy fix would be a marking on the floor to warn you. Also, pack shampoo. Not provided. It’s so basic at most rental accommodations and a hassle to have to buy before you shower after a long flight. Traffic noise is considerable if you want to enjoy the lanai but not so bothersome at night. Otherwise, the beach gear was really welcomed and communication was great. Would stay there again.

First family trip to Maui. Good location for first time visit. Just on the outskirts of the busy part of Kihei so when we were “home” it felt quiet and relaxed. The condo itself felt spacious for family of 4 and daytime family visitors. Condo was spotless, everything in working condition, lots of extras such as beach gear, towels, kitchen essentials and a grill. The pool and jacuzzi was a nice added bonus to the trip with a beautiful view. We felt like we were at a resort. Host was easy to reach with quick responses. We had zero concerns or issues, the whole stay was a pleasure.

Overall very nice. Somewhat dated. Clean except for the barbecue which needed a lot of work before it was usable. Tremendous traffic noise due to its location on a busy street.

We spent our Thanksgiving here. Ideally located property with short walk to an awesome, family friendly beach. It turned out to be our favorite beach of the 7 that we visited. The condo is near to shops and other beaches. It is well appointed with all the amenities we needed for a family of six. Lush gardens, great views, and a short walk to the pool. More of an island-feel at this condo than other Palms condos, different architecture. Great service too! During our stay, the k-cup coffee maker stopped working, and they had a new one at the condo in a few hours. Very kind and responsive Host! Awesome on-island service guy. Would definitely go back! Only considerations: the condo sits adjacent to a well traveled street connecting Kihei to Wailea, so there is a bit of road noise particularly in the morning and evening and overnight on weekends. It didn’t bother us, but could bother a lighter sleeper. Also, while the regular beds were great, the pull-out and roll-away beds are not very comfortable (to be expected, right?) and I would think about that again when deciding how many people to have at this site. Kids would probably be fine in the pull-out, but I would not put an adult there for multiple nights. Overall, a great experience! Looking forward to visiting again!

This beautiful home is nicely situated amongst many mature trees that form a canopy over the adjacent street. The home is the heart of Wailea and a short walk to the beach. The home had everything we needed, including beach chairs, beach toys, a lovely kitchen with many appliances, and 2 balconies. The beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal to go to many beaches, explore Kihei and local shops and head to excursions. The management company that is overseeing the property were friendly and were able to help us when we found out the laundry machine broke down. A new washer was installed during our stay. The only problem with the home is constant loud noise from street. I loved hanging out on the Lanai, but my spouse found it too loud.

This was our third time staying at this property. Great location with very nice accommodations. A lot of swim related items at the property to use. You can walk down to the beach. Highly recommend this villa in the Wailea area.

This unit is unique and very spacious. We have stayed here several times over 20 years and always enjoy!

A wonderful condo for a family of five with a large pool and gorgeous beaches nearby. Snorkel gear, beach towels, umbrellas & chairs, and boogie boards are provided. The only glitch is the condo is on a four-lane road… which can get quite busy at times. Otherwise, we loved our stay.

This unit was perfect for 2 couples. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms plus one upstairs by the living room. So great for 4 adults. Tons of swim gear in the laundry room that we really appreciated.

This condo is well loved and widely used. It was fully stocked with all the beach supplies you need. It was a close to the beach. The pool at The Palms was wonderful. However, this condo is one of the old units in the development. The traffic noise is constant and can be loud, so bring ear plugs. The DVD player was broken, the grill ignition didn’t work. The grill was dirty. The he dishwasher door is broken and will drop on your toes if you aren’t careful. The couch frame is broken. We didn’t use it as a pullout bed, but just sitting on it was awkward due to the broken frame. The downstairs had a mildew smell and there is a hole in one door. The snorkeling equipment has been used a lot, so some of it was broken. Definitely check the snorkels before you use them. We had some issues with housekeeping, but it sounds like they used a new company this week. I think a lot of these issues were just not known to the management team. When I let them know, Carl and Mark were quick to respond and remedy what they could. Overall, we liked the unit and loved our stay in Wailea, but this condo definitely needs some TLC.

Location was really excellent, we loved being close to Wailea shops, and sidewalks beach. It was very nice to have two separate bedroom spaces downstairs for our family, and there was ample beach towels/gear for us to use when we went out. Our only complaint was the traffic noise during the night - this property is very near the road and the windows are thin. Apart from that, this was a fantastic experience!

Great layout for a family with and excellent location. House fully stocked with all your beach needs!

Our family had a great 3 week vacation staying in this condo. The suite was very spacious and had everything you needed for an at home experience. The beach is very close and within walking distance and if you didn’t want to spend all day at the beach, the pool is just steps away, up the hill. The Shops of Wailea was also a short walk of 11minutes if you wanted to get some shopping in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Host was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks Mike.

Host is very generous, my boy friend and I flew in a day earlier and they gave us early access to the place with no additional charge. Very Hawaiian style home, great for hosting and for a couple couples. Hot tub and pool steps away up the hill on lava rocks was perfect in the evenings. Close drive to downtown Kihei, big beach and the mall. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would go back. Thanks again!

The only complaint is the couch pullout bed. It was unusable as it wouldn’t straighten out so if you laid on it you slipped off the bed plus it was very uncomfortable. Easy fix we went and bought a blow up mattress which we left at the property! A beautiful location with a big yard for the kids to play in as well as the nearby pool. Close to shopping, beaches and restaurants. All the amenities of home just in paradise! Property owner was quick to answer any and all questions.

Overall, the condo was spacious and nicely furnished. The bedrooms had plenty of room and the bathrooms were clean and nice. Kitchen was well-equipped and we appreciated the beach chairs/boogie boards/umbrellas. The disappointment I experienced was the loud noise from the road. I wanted to enjoy the back lanai but it was very loud and not enjoyable to sit out on the patio. We opted not to barbeque and hang on the lanai because of this. I know this was written in other reviews, but it was more than I anticipated. Luckily, we were out and about a lot so it was okay; but, if we were to plan to stay and relax, that would have affected us more. But, we did like how the location was placed in Wailea in walking distance to the local beaches and the longer walk to the Shops at Wailea.

Close to Kihei boat ramp for dive boats and close to beach for shore dives. Large lanais. Well stocked kitchen. Road noise in middle of the night might be an issue for light sleepers, but doesn’t seem to bother deep sleepers. All questions and issues were immediately resolved by the owner in a friendly and helpful manner.

Had a great 11 day stay at this property with our entire family of 5 (myself, my spouse, our 2 adult/1 teen children). Suite was spacious and bright and located as close to Keawakapu beach (one of the best on Maui!) as you can get in the The Palms at Wailea complex (approx 8min walk). Partial ocean views from the spacious main floor lanai made it an excellent place to relax and dine. Suite had literally everything you could want or need for an 'at home' experience including a blender for smoothies and a variety of coffee making options. Location was very quiet relative to neighbours, but a little bit of traffic noise was expected due to proximity to road, although very minimal. Our daughters found the sectional couches more than adequate as 2 comfortable single beds (didn't even need to use the cot which was also an option). Plenty of bedding was provided. Host was easily accessible and very cooperative, especially considering our late night flight home. Would highly recommend this rental for families/couples looking for easy access to beach/snorkeling and pool, and all the fine dining and shops at Wailea within walking distance without the high cost of staying at an expensive resort! The condo was perfect. Nice decor and very confortable furniture in every room. Perfectly working central A/C. Great great lanai: we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was well furnished with everything you need to cook. There were plenty of bathroom and beach towels. And plenty of other beach gear. Communications were fast, easy and agreeable. Anna and Mike were great hosts.

Lovely duplex with fabulous opportunities for walking and swimming and snorkeling. Enjoyed our vacation tremendously. Thank you.

My niece was getting married in Maui a week ago, so we made it a family vacay! Mike's place was great! Perfectly appointed with all that we needed-cooking supplies, comfy beds, plenty of room for us to hangout when we weren't out and about and everything we needed for a great day at the beach-no rentals needed! Mike was super responsive to a few questions I had and his manager, Claudia, was helpful we we ran into an issue with a toilet. As other guests mentioned, the beautiful home is located on a rather busy street, which you can't do much about, but the home itself makes up for it! Thanks Mike for an enjoyable stay!

Very accurate description on listing. Great location, walking distance to the beach, with the bonus of a nice small condo pool area. Really appreciated having the boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and kid's sand toys. AC is nice to have for comfortable sleeping. Unit could use a new dishwasher (it is super loud), and otherwise everything was perfect! Thank you for letting us stay!

Very spacious and very well appointed and clean! Short walk to some of Maui's best beaches. Only issue was the traffic noise.

Very nice and spacious condo. Everything in the kitchen you needed, except for a pizza cutter. The pans were of different sizes. The bathrooms were nice and the kids liked the sofa. Water shoes, boogie boards, chairs and beach stuff was great. Beds were super comfortable and pillows too. The only thing we didn't like is the noise from cars driving on the street.

We had an amazing trip. The house was clean & beautiful as advertised. They even had a boogie board for my son who was on it 24/7 practically. Cleanest towels and kitchen ever. I’ll never stay in a hotel again!

Mike was easy to work with last year when we had questions regrading this Villa and we waited patiently for the time to arrive. It did not disappoint. Everything was perfect and our family had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday. The place was extremely clean when we arrived and fully stocked with everything we needed to walk or drive down to the beach everyday. Large enough to have the other families over for dinner who were staying in separate condos in the Palms, and everyone commented on how great the place was. We cannot wait to have another opportunity to come back and stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mike’s property! It is very well stocked, close to everything, and oh so peaceful! The Palms also has an excellent pool and hot tub where you can watch the most gorgeous sunset from a hill! Only thing I could possibly suggest is perhaps upgrading some furniture (the pull out couch is not usable). But if you don’t need it, you will not miss a thing! Thank you very much Mike!

We recently spent two lovely weeks at Mike's property in Wailea and had a fantastic time. The property is well equipped with everything you would need for a family beach vacation, and is just a short walk to Keawakapu Beach. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Palms at Wailea is a fantastic property. Lots of space and close to everything. Well worth staying here.
