Gorgeous apartment, super clean and decorated beautifully. Perfect for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Chicago. Hosts are excellent too.

We had stayed at another VRBO in the Lakeview East neighborhood many times before. The owner sold and the new owner did not carry on the business. We had to find a new home away from home. We found it. We love the area due to its proximity to so many things Chicago has to offer. Much is within walking distance. Transportation to anywhere in Chicago is very easy from Jeff and Lisa's condo. Most importantly, their condo is spacious, clean, extremely well equipped, and very comfortable. Although we only had one very minor question, that I should have figured out myself, Jeff and Lisa were very quick to respond. Jeff was diplomatic too. He could have said, "Hey knucklehead, you have to aim the remote at the device." He was much nicer. We'll be back!!

Everything was great, clean home and friendly owners

We enjoyed the property it’s was clean and nicely staged. Jeff and Lisa put in the extra effort to make sure we felt welcomed. Fresh flowers, chocolates, cookies, and fresh fruit were waiting for us. We will definitely stay again.

I have stayed in many HomeAway properties in US and Europe and this was the best. It was equipped with everything you could possible want and then some. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Jeff was a perfect host. It is a great place to stay in a great neighborhood.

We lived in Chicago for 20 years, so we should know. Place is perfect for 3 reasons. First, the condo is beautifully designed and decorated, and well provisioned and maintained. Second, the location is the ideal neighborhood...plenty of shops, restaurants and bus/train transportation within a short walk, with Wrigley Field, the park and the lake just up the street. Third, your hosts are hospitable, attentive to questions and needs, and just very nice people. If this place is available for when you want it...grab it.

We loved this condo! It was beautiful inside and had everything that we needed. It was located within easy walking distance of a fantastic market and little restaurants on a quiet tree lined street. It was easy to get into downtown but we also enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago. The owner was very responsive and checked in often to see if we needed anything. There were even fresh flowers awaiting us when we arrived. We felt welcomed right from the beginning.

Stayed 4 nights with my family including 2 teenage girls. This property easily exceeded expectations and my family is picky. The owners have great taste and have truly thought of every little thing that makes a stay comfortable. Beautifully/tastefully furnished, updated finishes, comfy beds, great AC, fully loaded kitchen and they provided everything- fruit, drinks, coffee, breakfast munchies etc. We were not familiar with Chicago at all but knew we wanted not be in downtown with the tourists. The property's location is right in the best neighborhood with all types of restaurants, movie theater, nice grocery store within a few minutes walk. Close proximity for my family to see everything- we did college tour of Northwestern and U of Chicago as well as the usual touristy things. Of note, there is a app-based bike rental right down the street, and we rode our bikes to the lakefront on July 4th. Simply could not have picked a nicer place to stay. Will most definitely urge my friends to stay here if ever they come to Chicago. Thank you Jeff and Lisa!!

We loved our stay in Lakeview! The condo is beautiful and exactly as pictured. We were greeted with wine, treats and flowers and it was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The home was spacious and had everything you could need. It was also walking distance to shops, restaurants, wrigley, the lake and Lincoln Park. We would love to stay here again!

This property is clean and stylish! The interior design and furnishings are gorgeous. And, its location cannot be beat! The property manager was very responsive and nice. I will stay here every time I visit Sweet Home Chicago!

Can’t say enough about this place. Walk to Wrigley, the L, Lincoln Park, great restaurants and coffee in a super location. Easy access to downtown and points north. The flat is charming and very well appointed, and it could not have been cleaner. The Esquire covers wall was fascinating - like interactive art. Jeff was an excellent host. We’ll stay again.

Jeff and Lisa were helpful from the very beginning of our booking. They provided information on all our transportation needs, local recommendations, and were available for all our questions throughout our stay. I would recommend staying with them without reservation and hope to stay with them next time we are in Chicago. *They also has a couple bottles of wine, fresh fruit and delicious cookies waiting for us upon our arrival*

Great way to experience Chicago neighborhoods

We spent a week here for our son's wedding. This condo is wonderful. All the comforts of home and close to a great grocery store, gym and some pretty good restaurants as well. Jeff and Lisa were super responsive to any questions we had and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. A little wine, flowers, cookies and some fresh fruit were all waiting for us. We will definitely stay here again.

The kitchen was first class with everything one would possibly need. The location is great if you are a baseball fan and full of life and excellent restaurants and theater. The walk to the lake is 5 minutes! We would definitely study here again!

We had a truly awesome stay. The apartment was perfect for the four of us (including our 7 year old twins). The owners Jeff and Lisa were extremely thoughtful and made it very welcoming from the start - one of the easiest vrbo experiences we have had. Details like fully stocked paper and cleaning products, coffee, cookies, wine and flowers were fantastic. The area was perfect too - a very short walk to the supermarket (with its own bar!), dining options, and Lincoln Park. And plentiful Ubers for short trips downtown. Beats a hotel suite hands down.

A wonderful place to stay in Chicago, close to public transport, shops and restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the lake shore. Our generous hosts provided wine, coffee, tea, fruit, chocolates and fresh flowers and were readily available to answer questions. There was also a well stocked larder. The condo is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean and in a quiet and very smart avenue. We could not fault the accommodation and were very sorry to leave after 8 nights.

This place was fabulous! The condo is so clean and well appointed. The owners had some lovely complimentary food and drink that we enjoyed immensely. The beds and linens and towels were luxurious. Location, location location...close to restaurants, grocery store, the train and Wrigley Field by train and walking. We did everything so easily from this location. You can’t go wrong with choosing this place

We loved this property. We were in town to visit our daughter and attend the Pearl Jam concert at Wrigley Field. Very clean, spacious, and nicely updated. Beautiful kitchen with dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Owners had left us some delicious cookies and fresh cut flowers. The location was great! Beautiful tree lined street with so many things to do nearby. We went to Mariano's grocery, just around the corner, to stock up on food and snacks. Lots of restaurants, bars, and cool shops in the area. It was an easy walk to Wrigley and to the lake area. The money we saved on ride share fees added up quickly compared to previous visits when we have stayed downtown. They have a guest spot in their garage available for renters but we decided to fly in this time. Jeff was great to deal with and responded promptly to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back in the future!

This was a great location near restaurants, bars, grocery store, coffee, ice cream. A little bit of a walk to the train (~10 min), which wasn't too bad, but I could see that being more difficult if the weather was poor or if a longer walk was physically difficult. Jeff and Lisa were easy to work with. They provided several bottles of wine, snacks, espresso, and cookies as a bonus. We had an infant and they even set up the pack and play for us. Top notch service! Absolutely recommended if you're looking for something in Chicago. Only difficulty was parking. They have a small garage unit that could fit a sedan, but we had a Chevy Traverse (3 kids on a road trip), so we had to find street parking which was extremely difficult. While everything was fantastic, my only recommendation would be to replace the master bed frame. It is beautiful, but super squeaky. I kept getting woken up in the night when my wife would roll over in bed. Again, this was an excellent rental and would recommend to anyone who is looking in the area.

Location is wonderful - coffee, grocery, restaurants just around the corner yet still a quiet street. Walk to Halsted, Wrigley, Lincoln Park. Flat was beautiful and comfortable with everything you need plus extra thoughtful touches from the owner. Garage was handy, though a tight squeeze for our Mazda CX5. but it was great to have and not usually offered with places this close-in!

This rental really makes you feel like a local in Chi-town! The location is AMAZING, the condo is equally AMAZING with every amenity one could think of, and the owners are a pleasure to work with:)
