This home was great for our needs. Well equipped and conveniently located. Management was attentive as well. Kona is such a fantastic island with so much to offer. We wish we could have stayed longer but hopefully we will be back soon. We will look to stay here again on our next visit.

Property managers were really nice to work with. The area is neighborhoody-only houses. but its nice. view is really nice, clean and safe. there is some area to walk around, but you have to leave the gated community to get a real walk in. close enough to stores that you can get whatever you need. the washer and dryer are good and fairly large capacity

This was the most organized and well maintained property we have stayed at! The property manager was super responsive. For example, we told her we were missing beach umbrellas, she promptly came and brought us new ones. The AC was perfect and was much needed as well! The dvds were great for the kids and adults alike.

Clean, spacious property with ample room for everyone. Convenient to everything airport, Kailua-Kona, Costco, Walmart and several L&L drive inns.

Wow! What a great place! It had all the little touches that made it feel like home. It was clean and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family vacation! We all really enjoyed our stay!

My family (3 kids 6, 10, 13) all had a great time. Nice place, good location. I was an idiot and misread the gate code instructions, and the property manager kindly facetimed me to show me how to open it. (My mistake, not theirs).

Very pleased with the property, clean and updated. The view and peaceful location was enjoyed by all of our family. The amenities offered at the house made our stay easy and enjoyable. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world just a short distance from this residence. 5 star property!

We brought our entire family along. The house was simply PERFECT. Enough space to have privacy but cozy enough for family bonding. The teens loved the hot tub after a great day of surfing. And the whole gang played board games on the lanai until the wee hours. We loved being able to grill or cook a family dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING!!! They even had coolers, sun hats, beach towels and bath robes. The location is awesome too. Close to shopping, walkable to town and the beach bur removed from the hassle bustle and peaceful for early morning coffee or watching the sunset. We were only a 10 minute drive to my sisters house and close to all the attractions we wanted. We usually like to find new places when we travel but,... We will definitely rebook our little slice of heaven in Kona.

This was a great place! We enjoyed the cool mornings sitting watching the sunrise and the ocean. The evenings were just as relaxing watching the ocean and the sunset. Listening to the birds and watching the palm trees sway. The spa was great for a relaxing time at night. It was well stocked with all necessary utensils, etc. It was close to everything in Kona and not a far drive to the beach. We loved it!

The view was beautiful and the location of the house was great,close to town and beaches and the airport.

The Area and the view to tHe Ocean Is Great and very qualm. But for the Price a bit to much because the rooms could Be renovated and the blanket with silk Is not ideal when it Is warm. We have another house in maui that was in the same Price Range But everything renovated and new

I loved this house! The perfect Big Island vacation home and I've stayed in so many different places. The listing description was completely accurate and so much more! It has everything you could possibly want or need. The property couldn't be any more clean and beautiful. I will recommend this house to everyone. The location is great for beaches, restaurants, and shopping.

While visiting Kona, I wanted to be away from hotels, cook my own food and relax in a quiet environment. This rental was that and much more. The house is clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful lanai for eating breakfast, a fun outdoor shower and large hot tub, all with a beautiful view of the ocean. The lot next to the house is a sacred site (no building allowed) which gives the property a bucolic feeling. This gated-community property is located close to stores and downtown and is centrally located to visit local beaches and restaurants. And there is snorkel gear, boogie boards, mats, towels, umbrella and coolers for use. I enjoyed being able to head South to Two Step beach for snorkeling or North to Hapuna Beach for swimming, or to Waimea for lunch. And, of course, strolling along Ali'i Drive at sunset made it perfect. This is a great place for a fun vacation.

This is our 3rd visit to Hale Alaula house. We stayed for 2 weeks. The listing description is 100% accurate in terms of space, layout and amenities provided. The location of this house is the best on the big island. Less than 5 minutes down the hill you will find Starbucks, Walmart and a Safeway supermarket. It is an 8-10 minute drive to Ali'i Drive in Kona where you will find shops, beaches and fabulous restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and makes you feel like you're home. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, pots and pans, coffee maker, dishwasher, plus a washer & dryer. Enjoy a great BBQ on the lanai which has an unobstructed view of the Pacific ocean. Sunsets are stunning! Relax in the backyard after a day of swimming or sightseeing in the hot tub and the outdoor shower you will absolutely love! The owners have gone out of their way to provide boogie boards and snorkel equipment for your use and enjoyment. Flat screen TV's throughout the house, strong WiFi signal and a large library of DVD's. In all of our travels over the years, we have never experienced a more relaxing comfortable home and we plan on returning every year! It"s as if you were in your own home in paradise. Rita G.
