We came down with another couple from Atlanta. We were so delighted with the large deck- we spent every morning and evening on the deck looking at the gulf. It is a short walk (less than 5 mins) to a beautiful remote beach. We had breakfast from lighthouse bakery and picked up fresh seafood from skinners. It was the perfect low key trip. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Dauphin Island. The property and location are perfect for a large family with kids. It is close to beach and ice cream shop!

We enjoyed staying at the Sea Dog this week. The Sea Dog is very cozy and is well furnished. The grands enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the playground right down the road.

This house was very comfortable with everything we could have ever thought of needing. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to find a great place to park for access to the beach thanks to the great info left for us in the house. We will definitely be back!

The house itself was nice but not within walking distance to the beach as stated unless you enjoy a half mile hike in the sand. During check in I was told the cable company should be there to fix the cable. We ended up not having any tv during our entire stay, which wasn’t a huge issue but would have been nice to watch tv in the evening before bed. Also, as soon as we arrived at the house a repair man came to check the A/C unit in the middle bedroom which was leaking all over the carpet, making it completely saturated in one corner of the room. The realty company knew about these problems and I feel like they could have given us a different unit comparable to the one I paid for, where everything was in proper working order.

Overall we had a nice stay. The house was very clean and super cute decor; nice sized living area and the bedrooms were a nice size too. A short drive to the bay area and a nice little walk from parking to the bay. Got to watch dolphins swim/play!!!

The house is perfect, only a short walk to the beach. My family loved the island.

Loved waking up every morning having coffee looking at ocean very quiet and neighbors are friendly dog had a blast took walks every morning great weather will rent again.! 😍😃

The house has everything we needed for a week getaway. We only had one day of rain, otherwise spent it at the beach. Enjoyed it being accessible right across the road and not too far from public beaches. Can't wait to go back!

Everything was nice only problem was home behind us had roosters and 545am well you know, no sleeping in...

Took my Mom and daughter for a short vacation. So thankful that you allowed pets as my mom has a dog that won’t leave her side. House was beautiful and just right for us. We had a great stay and I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay on Dquphin Island as it was a quiet relaxing location.. We were very disappointed in the property. Positive was the nice view and gated deck. My small dog enjoyed the gulf waters. What once was a nicely outfitted & decorated home needs major renovations. Everything was worn and showing its age. Leather chair was taped up and not allof the fans and lights worked.. There was an over abundance of decor that cluttered the house. Obviously the owner has not been there in awhile as it it is dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Air ducts, fans etc were full of greasy dirt. Thankfully I had some cleaning supplies with me. I bought scented candles and baking soda to help eliminate the over all fried seafood smell. I am glad my grandchildren were unable to come as I would not want them playing on the floor. I am sure it is difficult renting out your house as others do not take care of it as the owners would. For the price I think it was not worth it - the pictures were misleading. We did call the management company for assistance as the garbage can blew away in a big storm. They said they would take care of it but never did.

The beach is not over crowded. We had to evacuate for Hurricane Delta so we did not get to stay long enough. We have already decided to go back . The locals are very friendly. Great time overall with places to stay.

We had a wonderful time this week. The house was very charming. We loved to wake up in the mornings and have our coffee/tea on the deck and look at the view.

Pros: great price, spacious living area, kitchen had adequate storage, place was clean. Lots of linen and kitchen utensils. plenty of parking. Cons: Dryer is defective, 40% of light bulbs burned out including the fridge, very dark, Internet is useless slow as a turtle, lights outside were hanging by the wire on porch, longer walk to beach than anticipated.

This is a wonderful home that has a lot of room (4 adults and 1 child). It is nice to find a property to rent that I can take my large dogs (Mastiff and Collie). Even with the COVID restrictions there is a lot to do on the island and the house is centrally located with access to the bay and gulf. We will defiantly book another stay!

Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Lots of clean towels. I wish there was an outdoor shower or at least a platform to stand on when hosing off under the house. I don’t love being on Bienville but as a cyclist I enjoyed the convenience. I would rent this property again.

Great, convenient location. Easy walk to beach. Kids and adults had a great time at the beach. Easy check-in. Pleanty of space. For our party of 8, we only wish it had a bigger low patio table to eat out side. The adults enjoyed dinner and breakfast outside with and ocean view. Kids had to eat inside. The grill was only a little Weber tabletop, but the rental agency was great about loaning us one. The house is great for a family vacation at the beach. We are there to be outside. If you have young kids, there was not a working DVD player for an evening movie so they used a laptop. Also the twin rollaways are only suited for elementary aged kids or smaller teens. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic getaway!

Beautiful home! Kitchen has every item necessary, if you plan to cook. Decor was wonderful. The walls were all decorated with unique items. The only problem was the bedroom that had twin beds. The cots are only appropriate for young children, not teens. Would recommend the home, especially if you are bringing your furry friend. It is close to the beach, and you can see and enjoy from the porch. We did leave a day early, but only because of the weather.

We had a blast while staying at Sea Dog. Even the threat of a hurricane couldn't put a damper on how awesome Dauphin Island is. The management company was very informative in the days leading up to Hurricane Michael, staying in touch daily. Sea Dog was spectacular. Easy access to the beaches and restaurants. Perfectly located to avoid the flooding from the rough seas. We have plans to visit next year

We picked Dauphin Island because we had spent a month there 10 years ago. We picked the house because it looked comfortable. The decor looked like something I would have picked. The only real problem we had was the dryer. The heating element needed to be replaced. We enjoyed the house. Thanks.

The house was perfect and just a quick walk to the beach. It was our first time visiting the Island, but will not be our last. The house had all the amenities you need for a stay and the decor was I’m at the beach but Home as well. I recommend this property!

It rained all week except last full day. I realize this is not your concern, so we could not walk the dog and let her loose in the yard where she got covered in hitch hikers. The TV was out due to the Comcast cable being out. You should get dish and the problem will go away. The rooms were very small except master bed room. The Kitchen was also very small and on the stove top unit , you could not figure out where the burner setting were, because the number next to the dials were worn off. We felt the money we paid was to much for what we got.

I've rented a number of houses over the years for beach trips, and this was hands-down the best experience. Beautiful home, great location, and lots of little touches you don't always find. Plus the rental company was great, very responsive when the thermostat went out on the air conditioner on Sunday night-we were back up and running in just a couple of hours. I would highly recommend.

Great property with unobstructed views of the gulf (not counting power lines). Short walk to the beach crossing the main highway. Main living area rustic and unique. Kitchen nicely equipped. Master bedroom was nice. The kids complained about the bed comfort in other rooms, but I did not use them so take it as is. Water pressure could be improved. The overall cleanliness was okay, but that should go against the property management company. Would rent this property again.

House was clean and well stocked. Grill was a little small but, sufficient. Our dogs loved the gated upper deck and walks to the beach!

Great location, plenty of room with all the comforts of home plus an ocean view! Easy walk to beach and most importantly - dog friendly!!

Nice property, no complaints!!

We absolutely loved the seadog. Super comfortable, beautiful view, and even more spacious than it appears in the pictures. We felt right at home and really enjoyed our stay on the island. We have stayed at a few other houses here and now the sea dpg is pur favorite!
