Love this house and the layout, especially the two master bedrooms with their own toilet and shower. Also the Crow's nest was awesome,except we couldn't get the tv to work. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was sparkling clean. Hot tub worked well. The beds were small, but comfortable.

We stayed at the property to celebrate my daughters birthday. The location was great. The property manager was very responsive to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice home

We had 4 teen girls and a couple adults staying 2 nights. It was the best location we have ever stayed at. The beach was just across the street, lots of beach play. Close to the restaurants and stores of Pacific City and a very quiet neighborhood that felt safe. The firepit and hot tub were an added joy as well as the 3 deer that quietly walked across the yard and onto the beach. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Quick access to the beach, wonderful views, especially from the upstairs deck. The house is huge, plenty of room to spread out. Loved it!

Beautiful location, weird floor plan, great views, no measuring cups, perfectly hot hottub, squeaky beds, easy walk to the water, host we interacted with was a total beach.

The location of the home is great for accessing the beach. The house is in need of some updating and deep cleaning. The dishwasher did not work and no response from Vacasa about it so we did a lot of dishes by hand. The game room and the “perch” were cool, but the rest of the layout was very awkward. But it’s always a good time at the coast.

Our second time here. Location cannot be beat. We love this gated and quiet community. However, for the nightly price of over $800 we expect more. One toilet broke immediately (overflowed and we had to scramble to get enough towels going until my husband turned off the water). Vacasa came out the next day to fix it - thank you. The air hockey did not have any pucks which was a big bummer for the children. Vacasa delivered a few the next day. The floor was dirty - found hair and bugs. The carpet throughout is super filthy and needs a deep clean. Our grandchild who can crawl was filthy on his skin and clothes from crawling on the carpet. He needed to be rinsed after each crawling session. The downstairs bedroom to the left had a foam mattress cover that had a huge urine stain. We could not understand why it smelled of urine the first night (thought a dog might have peed on the carpet next to the bed). We discovered the soiled foam mattress cover the next morning. We left it off and put a big note on it for housekeeping. Also, underneath the bed was a very dusty flat screen TV. Ick. Great house but it needs TLC.

This place was fantastic! I really needed to unwind and this totally did the trick! Even my son with Autism enjoyed it here....first place he has been where he did not want to go home early. We both enjoyed watching the storms from there and walking across to the beach. I have done a lot of vacation home rentals....and this place was by far the BEST ever. The furniture was comfy and not worn out or broken, there were so many pans, utensils and dishes and towels. There are loads of games and movies to keep kids entertained. I wish I could have stayed longer! First time in years that I have relaxed enough to finish a book! Also wish I had discovered Bob Straub park sooner...that beach just blew me away! Next time we come, going to turn right out of the gate instead of left. The little town that way had restaurants and bakery and charm! This would be the perfect place for a family reunion type of thing.....but it was great for my micro family. Will be going back!

Ran out of toilet paper. And I feel that the cookware could be better, more cooking bowls, more silverware. Overall, it was very nice.

We always have so much fun on this trip. We love having our dogs on the beach. We climb the dune. Uncle Ken goes out fishing and brings home the fresh catch! This house works perfectly for us. Well located, everything we need. Clean and comfortable.

Everything about this house was great except I always have had a beach front property. so this was second best to that.

Definitely beach experience. Lovely house, nice getaway. Heads up beach with lots of unleashed dogs which was a challenge for our two leased rescues..

This unique floor plan was fun and enjoyed by the whole family. The proximity to the beach was awesome, making it easy to walk down and enjoy the different tides. We had a couple of small maintenance issues which were handled immediately and very professionally - great service response! Will definitely check to see if this home is available for our next trip to the coast.

The set up of the house is beyond: it’s great! The house wasn’t as clean as I would Expect for the price lots of cobwebs and dust. The “sun room” at the top was my favorite. Sadly the door to the upper deck is very broken so it had to stay closed most of the time cause it’s very heave and metal. A few deck beams where broken too so hot safe for kids until repaired. Overall we loved the house. The maintenance man had attitude cause the house wasn’t cleaned or the hot tub. These minor details can be easily addressed at minimal cost. Hopefully it’ll be fixed wnd cleaner when we return

really the only issue we had was running out of basic items to clean up...tabs for dish washer, paper towels, soap. thats it.

Had a wonderful time catching up with friends. Plenty of room for everyone. Looks just like the photos.

If you are friends with another family who have younger kids (6-17) this is a great place to stay. The rooms for this are laid out nicely and the games are awesome. A short walk to the beach makes it nice since you are not on the side where the sand piles up in your backyard. The hot tub was very nice, though it was not warm when we arrived and had a lot of sand in it. Once it was heated up and we cleaned it a little it was great to sit on the deck and enjoy. The town of Pacific City is always quaint and charming and you very close to main areas but far enough away to enjoy the crowds. The house does have minor damage which needs some repair but does not take away from the ambiance and the stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Pacific City.

The house was warm and roomy. The hot tub was relaxing. Great location, easy to access the beach. Spectacular views from the roof top balcony. Very dog friendly. We loved our stay.

We've stayed at a dozen or so "pet-friendly" places on the coast over the past 5 years and have never once smelled pet odors. This place reeked as soon as we walked in! We were able to tolerate it with the windows wide open, but that is not sustainable. The front room had several spots that looked like there was pee from the previous stay that had not been cleaned at all. I did use the cleaner in the place to mask the smell, but it returned quickly. Our dogs were sniffing in every corner of this place telling me there has been years of pee in the corner. We ended up leaving one night early because we simply could not stand the odor in the downstairs bedrooms when we closed the house up for the evening. The layout is fun, the home is well stocked and the location is perfect. The electrical in the front room doesn't seem to work, but there are enough lights elsewhere that it was okay. Tearing out the carpets and putting in laminate or tile would make this place perfect.

This is our third year staying in this neighborhood. We like the close proximity to the beach and love Pacific City.

We loved the proximity to the beach. Nice home for a big group, many little spaces for activities and bathroom/ showers for getting ready all at once. Nice back deck where the deer were waiting to be hand fed. Coffee just minutes away as well as groceries. Nice place

There is not enough room here to list everything wrong with this property. The home has not been deep-cleaned in many YEARS. Every room smelled like wet dog and mildew. Urine stains on rugs. Broken screens, broken refrigerator, kitchen was gross. Hair, dust, gunk and grime on every surface. Zero effort has gone into providing guests with a comfortable stay, not to mention SAFETY and health in the midst of this pandemic. We are requesting refunds, hoping that customer service will be better than the actual property.

We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay over Labor Day. The weather was great and the house did the trick. The grand kids especially loved the play room upstairs. The grown-ups enjoyed the many inside and outside sitting areas. Besides from a gas grill issue which was promptly and professionally addressed by the property manager, only these other minor issues should be improved for the ultimate price range vs. enjoyment matrix optimization: the kitchen "inventory" really need some TLC. The drawers were a mess and it was hard to find anything. Most pots did not have lids that fit, the big pan was so wobbly that it was unusable (the property manager brought a new one), most knives were dull , only one cutting board which was way past its prime. Some ovenproof dishes would be great for cooking and baking. BYO cooking oil, spices, storage bags, foil, etc. as there are none.
