We have stayed at the Miramar Condo in Cozumel several times. The location is perfect. Quiet, ocean front with diving ledge, pool on the ocean side. If you are looking for a great place to stay that is close to town but away from the loud partying…this is the place for you.

We enjoyed one week at this condo. 3 spacious bedrooms with bathroom/shower each. Amazing views from living room and both bedrooms. Very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, good quality linens. Perfect location for snorkelling, 5 min drive from downtown. We felt very safe walking around even at night. We are planning our next stay at this place already:).

This was the best vacation our family has ever taken! The condo was perfect! Laura (the manager) was absolutely fantastic. She is super helpful. If you need help reach out to her! The people that work in Cozumel live off making extra tips so make sure to tip them well. They are worth it. This includes your maid! Laura helped us with multiple things and if she didn't know the answer right away she quickly would find out. We did visit the Mega to shop as part of our meals we planned on having in the condo. It was a very different shopping experience as they sell things singularly and we are used to buying things in more bulk. We were able to work it out but it was an interesting experience. The condo was just far enough away from town that it felt remote but close enough to be in town in 5 minutes. As other reviews have stated, the snorkeling right in front of the condo is the best by far on the island. They have plenty of gear to use right there. My family of five all jumped off the diving board. It was amazing! There were plenty of large beach towels! I brought some from home because I was worried as some places have tiny ones. That was a waste as there were plenty there for your use. Having a washer and dryer also made it super convenient. We were on the fence about renting a car or using a taxi. We were happy with our decision to rent one as we later learned that a family of 5 wouldn't fit in one taxi and it would have been a pain. The process of renting a vehicle was LONG at the airport even though we had made a reservation ahead of time. Be prepared for that if you decide to rent. People also drive CRAZY in Cozumel so if you are not a strong driver, don't even bother trying to rent a car. They ended up giving us a Suburban though which I think was literally the largest car on the entire island. It was tricky as the roads are narrow and mopeds are everywhere. We tried different restaurants that weren't even on the provided list. The first one was aqui + ahora. It has a super trendy young vibe. The staff was outstanding as well as the food and drinks. I would say it was moderate in pricing. The rooftop view was gorgeous. We also went to Yaama Bar and Grill. It too had a super trendy vibe and a rooftop seating area. The staff was wonderful and food was outstanding however this was a little more on the pricey side. There was even a show downstairs that were watched when we were done eating. It was really cool. We did do to LaMonina one day for breakfast and it was so good. The fresh juices were the best juice we had ever tasted. We also went to a new rooftop restaurant that was called Fuego. The food was outstanding but the staff wasn't right on top of things like most restaurants. Maybe they were short-staffed or something the night we were there but it was still delicious. One last restaurant we went to was on top of the Cozumel Museum called Novena Ola. This also has a spectacular view, the food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. It too was a little more pricey but we thought it was worth the money. We stayed back at the condo a few days and just enjoyed the pool, ocean and relaxing. One day the workers were cutting coconuts down so my kids asked for one. They cut them right there and gave them each one with a straw. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. One day we went to Playa Azul which is a small beach only a few miles away. It was awesome and super cheap. You pay to park and go in but they subtract that from what you spend on food and drinks. The kids really enjoyed the snorkeling here as they were able to touch and the fish would come right up to you. We even fed them some tortilla chips and they ate right from our hands. I would highly recommend! We also did the Stringray Beach which we all really enjoyed. You could feed them, touch them and hold them. Their stingers are clipped so no worries there. They take pictures all along and sell you a package at the end but it was reasonable and worth purchasing for the memories. Part of the excursion is snorkeling after. There were actually nurse sharks that we were able to see along with more stingrays. You do need a reservation for this activity and they close at 3. Another day we decided to go to Playa Mia Beach. This was a tourist trap. It cost my family of 5 $300 for the day to enjoy the beach, pool, water slides and all the food and drink you wanted. We had two waiters assigned to us for the day who waited on us hand and foot. The kids thought it was awesome! They too live off tips so please tip them well if you go. We had a wonderful time although I will say it was overpriced. We wished that we just went to Playa Azul again instead. Overall the best experience we had was when Laura arranged for a chef to come into our condo and cook for us. The food was so fresh and DELICIOUS! The chef cooked seafood for the adults and chicken fajitas for the kids. Everyone gave the food a 10/10. It was a really cool experience. All the beds in the condo were comfortable. We did meet some owners of the other condos and everyone was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend this trip! It was sunny and 84 every day and we went in January. It was heaven!

Our family stayed here for the Ironman. We would love to come back again! The condo is immaculate and the owners are amazing! We had zero issues and also loved meeting other families by the pool! The diving board into the ocean is so cool and definitely a hit for our kids! I would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so much!

Beautiful condo. Great location. Great ocean access and pool. Easy access to downtown restaurants. The best part was the onsite staff. Very efficient and friendly. Extremely helpful.

Breathtaking view of carribean. Property was extremely clean - pool, stairs, condo, everything. All updated amenities. Laura, property manager was easy to get in touch with and was extremely helpful with questions about the city. We will be back! This condominium has been the best and cleanest and most spacious location we’ve experienced in Cozumel. Price was great!

Nice enough property. Certainly not the most comfortable beds on the island. Called Laura, the property manager, as the clothes dryer wasn't heating. She promptly responded that she would have it looked at. Never heard back and the dryer still didn't heat. Ants all over the kitchen. I recommend storing all food in the refrigerator. Overall good property just not great!

Very beautiful, clean

We are a retired couple who stayed at this property with our adult son and daughter-in-law. The unit has three bedrooms, each with a king bed and attached bath, all very comfortable and well-equipped with closet space and even robes. The master bedroom was amazing, with expansive ocean views and an outside balcony. We enjoyed breakfasts on the main balcony, and ate out most other meals in order to experience the local cuisine. Our favorite was Palmera's, right on the main street through town. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos there were fabulous, so we went back again and again. If you do the circle drive around the island, stop and eat at Coconut's. Though we had a rental car, it would not have necessarily been needed, as there are taxis everywhere, they are safe, and rates are very reasonable. You can flag one down right outside the condo. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had beforehand, and clearly thought of everything their guests might need during their stay. They even left a gift basket of local products. Our primary activity was snorkeling. We did do some snorkeling right out in front of the condo, but it should be noted that on some days the ocean currents are quite swift, and I wouldn't have wanted children or not-so-strong swimmers to swim there during those times. The high dive was fun, and the very best part of the property was the pool, which was so well-designed and immaculately maintained. The building itself is relatively small, so there were never crowds of people at the pool or in the general pool area. It had a very intimate feeling. This was our third trip to Cozumel and if you are in to snorkeling, we highly recommend Mystic Snorkeling, which we have utilized on two of our three trips. They take you to the best snorkel spots and skip all the party resorts and extras. It's all about the snorkeling. All in all, this is a great vacation property, and I would recommend it for your stay in Cozumel! This will be our vacation rental of choice when we return.

We spent a beautiful week in Cozumel with fun filled days scuba diving, bike riding, beach days and lovely afternoons relaxing around the pool. We enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the condo! For dinner there were many wonderful restaurants to choose from with Hemingway being our favorite just a short distance away with beautiful sunsets. Definitely a five star vacation!

Amazing condo in a beautiful location of Cozumel. Probably the best snorkeling on island right in the backyard. The area is very quiet, safe, and extremely convenient to downtown. Fantastic owners, property managers, and cleaning staff. All the bedrooms have great lighting, comfortable king sized beds and private access full baths. The kitchen is well stocked (better than our own) and the entire condo is sparkling clean. Highly recommend! There is definitely a reason this place has all 5 star reviews.

Great property, location and amenities!

everything was wonderful, except for the people who stayed above us and were very abusive and rude, constantly stole umbrella from us twice and informed us that we could not save patio furniture if we were not down there. I guess you cannot pick your neighbors.

Excellent location and very upscale accommodations. Communication with the owner and property manager was great. Platform dive area and snorkeling right out the back door are a plus that will be very hard to find in the area.

This vrbo was well-stocked, clean and very comfortable. The property manager was super nice and helpful. There was one miscommunication in the beginning but Jill was quick to accommodate. The master shower is a little awkward and I kept hitting my head on the shower rod (I’m only 5’6”) and the toilet area small but the rest of the place more than makes up for it. Overall, great stay.

Our family loved staying here! EVERYTHING about this place is fantastic! We brought our adult kids and our teenagers, stayed for a week during IRONMAN! Close to town and right on the run course, the condo was just a quick taxi or scooter ride to the heart of the action in Cozumel. The owners were so accommodating and quick to respond with every question and request! We ALL loved the view, the pool, the platform, and the water!!!

Wow! We will be back as this was a beautiful property and lacked nothing! Superb!

The property was located in a great location. The water was blue and the view was amazing. Short walk or drive to the nearest restaurant. Our trip was peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely keep this place in mind on the next trip to Cozumel.

My husband and our two boys (ages 12 & 15) absolutely loved our stay here! The location couldn’t have been better! We swam, dove into and snorkeled in the water right off the property every day. Close proximity to town…about a 15 min walk or an easy taxi ride. The property is very well appointed, including snorkel gear and plenty of water. Laura, the property manager, was great and always quick to respond. I can’t believe we waited so long to visit Cozumel, and we can’t wait to return!

This is a Great property that is newly rennovated, clean and large. Diving into the ocean from the pool side platform is a gas and the pool itself is beautiful. We snorkeled daily along the awesome coral covered wall adjacent to the condo and after visiting a few other snorkle sites we realized it doesn't get any better than right here. Close to town and great restaurants, quiet, and beautiful view across the bay into Playa.

Beautifully decorated condo in a perfect location (1 1/2 miles from town). Owners thought of everything we could possibly need and provided it in the condo. Laura, property manager, met us at condo to go over any question and was always available to help with anything!! We loved meeting her with her cheery smile! It rained everyday we were in Cozumel, but we didn't mind. We enjoyed snorkeling in fron of condo and relaxing in the pool! Super easy to get a taxi to town ($5 per taxi ride).

What a great condo! The owner has really thought of everything. When we would think it would be great if they had done this - there it would be. Example - has laundry detergent, tons of beautiful fluffy towels, instructions on how to do anything you might have questions about. The service was fantastic too- Laura the property manager was available to help with all my questions ahead of time and while we errr there. She helped arrange dinner in the condo one night which was fantastic, arranged to have groceries delivered ahead of time so we didn’t have to spend time doing that, and was there when I accidentally programmed the safe wrong. The location is great a quick can ride into town with cabs always available and great snorkeling right outside the door. One morning we saw a dive group dropping people off to explore what was steps from our condo. Not sure how you could not have fun there.

This place was amazing. We truly loved the beauty inside and out. The condo was decorated beautifully and we loved being right on the ocean. The snorkeling right at the water’s edge was amazing! ! We had ample room for our family of six . The manager was very attentive and helpful to our needs. Thanks so very much!!!! We would love to come again !!!!!!!

This condo was just absolutely perfect for us. It is very spacious and clean. There is great attention to detail throughout the entire unit. Our expectations were met in every way. We will definitely want to return.

Had a fantastic time.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful property during the COVID-19 pandemic. We did not want to leave. The owners and management team were first class. From check in to check out, it was by far the smoothest and easiest process we have encountered. Communication could not have been any better or understanding between us, property managers and owners. Very thorough instructions and directions regarding travel concerns and all precautions during our stay. We had an absolute blast. Cozumel currently has 30% of its tourism. A lot of these local places are very distressed. Coming from the States, we were concerned with all safety procedures and precautions. We were quickly impressed with the Islands protocol and how everyone is abiding to these. We did not have any concerns regarding safety during our entire stay. Restaurants, local shopping shops, car rental agency and everyone we encountered went beyond safety protocol. If you are looking for a get-a-way during these crazy times, consider staying here. I promise you will not regret it. We also took advantage of Eduardo, the wonderful local "tour guide". He provided us trouble free parasailing (picked us up right in front of the condo), fishing and snorkeling trips. We will always include Eduardo when we return to Cozumel. His sister Laura is the property Manager of our rented condo. Eduardo also met us at the property the day after we arrived. He went over the property and answered all of our questions and concerns we had. Very nice option to have a local person to help plan any activities you may be interested in. The pool, grounds, unit were all kept in prestine condition. With the exception of snorkeling along the Columbia and Palancar Reefs, some of the islands best swimming and snorkeling were directly in front of the condo. Easily slide in from the ladder or our favorite, leaping from the platfrom and then sitting on the ladder area to gear up. Visibility is 100+ feet. NO ALGAE!! Water depth below the jumping platform is around 15 feet geeting slightly deeper or shallower depending on which way you decide to go. Tons of fish, eels and coral directly in front of the condo. We even saw octopus and the resident frog fish!! We would go to sleep every day exhausted from the pool or snorkeling and couldn't wait to wake up and do it all over again!! We will be returning soon!! Hopefully, one day, we will own a place of our own here, where we can visit whenever we like, and stay as long as we need.

It was an unbelievable location north of town right on the water. The pool overlooked the ocean. You could walk down the stairs or jump off a platform into the ocean. Three very nice bedrooms with King size bedrooms. It was a quick and easy cab ride into town. The best VRBO and air b&b I have stayed in.

Loved it!! Everything was as advertised, it was a much needed relaxing break after the week long rush of getting married at a resort the week before! Just beautiful, and the little odds n ends the owners left out/gave were so thoughtful as well!!
