The house was beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us to have our own space at times but also plenty of room to spend time together. The house was beautiful, the location was amazing. It was just what we were looming for in a vacation .

Our favorite rental after years of vacations in Florida. We visit our family here several times a year, it is always the first place I check and have changed our travel dates if I see an open week.

This house was amazing. Spotless, and never questioned if anything was clean. Fully stocked with towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could ever think of. Great location, the town of palmetto is small and quiet. The house is located in a dead end culdesac so not much is going on. Loved that! The back patio was a beautiful private oasis. The pool/hot tub was amazing!!! We spent every day in the pool it was like your own private resort. Very spacious home, and lots of areas for the family to spread out. Loved the idea of all the different areas to eat every meal at from the back patio. To the large farmhouse kitchen table. The screened in porch. Very good location, we took day trips to clearwatch/st Pete which was about 40 mins away. Went to Siesta Key quite a few nights and that was about 30 minutes away. We were very sad to leave this house because it was so beautiful. The landscaping was very well kept, a pool company came to put chemicals in the pool one day. It was very kept place! Glad we found it. We plan to book again!

It was a great place just as it was listed, I would rent it again in a heartbeat. My family had a blast.

Although only one lounger so we had to fight over it🤣. Pool cleaner a bit annoying having to be in the pool all the time but got used to it.overall excellent stay and we would definitely return in the future. 5*****

This is a great house and is laid out very well. You feel like you are in your own private paradise with the great landscaping. House if furnished well with kitchen equipment and plenty of towels! We would stay here again if we go back to this area.

The house is roomy and we enjoyed the different parts of the house and property. The screened-in porch is nice as well as the smaller outside deck. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub is a nice extra. We also enjoyed the covered outdoor patio area and even watched some NCAA basketball March Madness at night. The property and lush landscaping is fantastic. It really gives you privacy to make you feel like you are in your own oasis on the canal. We rented a boat one day and it was nice to be able to bring it to the dock to pick up everyone else. A great property overall and I have four properties on VRBO myself. This was our second experience with renting a property with the host Island Dreams. Overall they are excellent to deal with at every stage, from pre rental when we had some things we wanted to change about our bookings, to all the small things that needed attention during our stay. Alex was receptive, quick to respond, accommodating and flexible. Small example: we wanted to leave some food in the fridge prior to the 4 pm check in time, because our other rental was in the neighbourhood, and they responded quickly with an affirmative for us to do so. The house is beautiful, large, spacious. Some of the special features: backyard is a small private oasis, really a private resort, the upper deck and breakfast balcony allowed us to extend our outside time at the beginning and end of each day. Kitchen extremely well stocked, tons of towels. Pool was small i.e you are not going to be swimming laps in it, but the spa was great for early mornings and evenings/nights and the pool is clean, recently refurbished and pool company comes twice a week to clean it. The deck was great for morning yoga! Neighbourhood is quiet, but friendly. You will be driving to all forms of entertainment i.e restaurants, etc. Beaches are minimum 23 km away (so at non busy times, about 1/2 hour drive up to an hour+ at busy times). Small dock you can fish off of (we did not catch anything), but did see manatees swimming by in the morning. If you are an active person, you can bike from the house along multiple long routes, tennis courts close by, areas to run. Highly recommend the property.

Great property, everything necessary provided. Only problem, lots of TV options (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), but even my techy brother could never figure out how to get live TV. So we survived for a week without cable news (maybe not a loss). Instructions would have been helpful.

Home was as pictured and backyard was a tropical oasis. Enjoyed ourselves so much. Home does have some maintenance issues which have been reported to PM (some kitchen cabinets doors falling off, loose pool tiles, plumbing issues reported in upstairs hall bath & sewage smell a few times in downstairs shower). Also, had trouble operating TVs but Alex was super nice & quick to help. Surprised that Neighborhood is mostly lower income except for waterfront homes. Even with the issues above, the trip was very enjoyable especially being on the beautiful canal & having an incredible outdoor area to enjoy. Home is spacious and furnished nicely for indoor enjoyment as well.

We loved the house and all the amenities that came with it. Couldn’t watch tv ; was too hard to get any channels and no instructions for use. We were not familiar with the area and it was not convenient to restaurants. Overall it was an enjoyable vacation.

The house and tropical pool area was fabulous. There was a fire across the water one day. I called the manager. Soot and ash blew over to our pool and steps into screened area. We did have to leave because of the smoke and smell. We felt like we waisted a day of our paid stay. Would be nice to get a discount for our lost day. Alex helped me our 2nd day by phone, we could not get 2 of the TVs to work. There were no instructions on all the remotes. That would have been helpful so he wasn't bothered on the weekend. I appogized to him , he said he was just doing his job and glad to help me. He provided great customer service. Our only complaint was location. We had difficulty every evening with where to go for dinner. We like eating seafood and eating on the water. None of the was your fault though. House was decorated so tropical and the outside was perfect. Would highly recommend to someone who wanted to relax and maybe not eat out so often. Thank you Alex for your help with the TV you want above and beyond as far as I felt. Thank you, Cathy Stringer
