8 of us stayed at this property together: myself and my husband, my 2 teenagers, my husband's parents, and his sister and her husband. The bedrooms worked out perfectly for our party with 3 rooms with large beds, and 1 room with bunk beds. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes, cups, silverware, pots, pans, and anything you would want. My daughter loves to bake and was excited to see that all the supplies she would need were there. The laundry units were efficient and very quiet. The laundry is near to all the bedrooms, but was quiet enough to run while people slept. The outdoor space is really lovely. Everyone enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. It was really nice being right on the bay and looking out as all the boats passed by. We enjoyed the location of the property. We were not in the very touristy part of town, but could easily get there in about 15 minutes when we wanted to visit. We were very close to the state park, where we went for a very cool kayak tour where we saw dolphins. Overall, we really liked this house and would stay here again if we were to visit this area again.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was clean and the owners were very organized and responsive to our questions prior to booking. The house itself with the pool was a hit with the adults and the kids. It rained a lot during our week unfortunately but there were lots of games to play and we utilized the pool in between rain showers. We would stay here again if we would come to the area!

Other than several cleanliness issues, our stay at Double Dolphin was a great experience. Carpets needed vacuuming better and the bunk beds bathroom needed hair removal from the shower. The home has a great pool area with hot tub. The 3 king beds were a definite draw for our group. This home is not new and is showing signs of its age. I am sure the owners are going to update as time passes.

I took my mom, sister, daughter, and her friend for some family fun. The property was lovely. Great location, quiet neighborhood away from the crowds of virginia beach, but still close enough to drive too. We enjoyed the pool, which was so refreshing. The weather was great! Close to some amazing restaurants! We had a blast.

This home was beautiful! Everything you need for a comfortable stay is already there. We can’t wait to come back for our next family vacation!!

Beautiful property, great views of the bay. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. Lots of kitchen utensils and everything you need to create great meals. Outdoor grill and firepit came in handy. Comfortable couches and beds too! We truly enjoyed our experience and hope to return!

We just spent the weekend in Va Beach for a family funeral. We booked this house at the last minute. Everything about this house and location was perfect! The view of the bay, pool, and entertainment area outside was wonderful. The inside of the house was beautiful with plenty of room for friends and family. A 5 star spot!
