Love this place. It’s cozy and in a great location. Private for my family with enough space to stretch out. The town it’s nestled in is quaint and charming. We’ve stayed her several times and will continue to do so.

The cottage was perfect for our needs. We visited family in the area, so didn't spend much time there, but were able to relax and rest in the evenings. It was great to be close to all the downtown shops.

You would never know there was a main house in front of this place. It was quite and cozy stay. We would stay again.

Magnolia Cottage was exactly the place my husband and I were looking for during our recent visit to Summerville. We came to visit with friends in the area. The cottage sets back from the road behind the main house. It's very quiet and peaceful. A short two block walk to the downtown area. I highly recommend Magnolia Cottage and would stay here again without hesitation.

Highly recommended! Sweet cottage surrounded by lawn, trees, hedges, with patios on front and back and steps away from parking spots. All amenities you need, with a terrific and responsive host. Great location for walking local paths and parks and the main street shops and cafes. Is on grounds with the main house but is very private. Be mindful that the cottage is downtown and Summerville is a hopping place; you will hear occasional traffic noise and trains (disposable ear plugs provided for light sleepers). We hope to return one day. Thanks Lauren for our comfie and relaxing stay!

There were small ants everywhere, especially in the bathroom. Under sheets mattress pads had hair from previous stay and stains. Innkeeper did come and change sheets, In the corner of one bedroom were empty packets of earplugs, obviously this had not been cleaned . Water barely comes out of shower head. We stayed here about six months ago and everything was spotless and great. Will not stay here again. If the owners want photos I would be happy to send to them.

The Magnolia Inn Cottage was the *perfect* place to stay in Summerville! It's right off Main Street, in walking distance to several local eateries and shops, near several big chain stores (handy for picking up those forgotten items :::sigh:::), and about a half-hour drive to Charleston. It was comfortable and cozy; perfect for our girl's getaway trip to attend a friend's wedding! We especially appreciated the messages from Innkeeper Lauren. It was nice to know that we could contact her if we needed anything, and I especially appreciated the follow-up text to see if we'd made it home safely. Definitely *not* something I'd experienced in the past!

We loved this property and the property managers! We arrived in Summerville to find the cottage just as it is described online. Management went out of their way to ensure our arrival was welcoming by placing little "gifts" throughout the cottage (Arizona Tea in the fridge because Summerville is the birthplace of sweet tea, small bottles of Magnolia Inn water in the fridge, and Charleston Chews for us to enjoy as a snack). All questions were addressed immediately, and the property was immaculate and inviting. Everything downtown in Summerville was within walking distance, including shops and restaurants. The binder the management provided in the cottage gave recommendations for food and we followed those recommendations closely and were well satisfied. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Charleston anytime soon.

What an adorable little cottage, and a great landing spot at the end of the day! While the cottage is in a residential area, it doesn't feel that way, thanks to all of the vegetation it is surrounded by. Super clean, very welcoming (right down to the sweet tea and the throw blankets on the couch). Stayed there for a girls trip to tour Charleston and the surrounding area, and this cottage did not disappoint!

We enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia guest house. Lauren the manager was very helpful and a great host. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequately supplied. A more suitable sidewalk to the front door would be easier for us older folks to navigate rather than the circular stones and bare ground. Azaleas we’re blooming, the weather was good. We had our bikes along and enjoyed the canal bike trail as well as exploring the Magnolia Plantation nearby. Summerville is a beautiful town with lovely parks, although not very bike friendly. Busy, narrow streets made riding difficult, although pleasant for walking. It was close enough to Charleston to spend time exploring there as well. Thank you for a great stay.

My family had an amazing Spring Break trip to this little gem. It was clean, great location, the beds were comfortable and came stocked with just enough coffee, dishes, etc. that we needed. We walked to several lovely locations in Summerville and a short drive to Magnolia Plantation as well as Charleston for some day trips. I would love to stay here again. Oh and the property manager Lauren was super attentive, she responded right away when I got a little lost, helped us get an overnight package and even offered to meet us to replace a comforter we had a spill on...above an beyond. Thank you for making our family stay so wonderful.

Everything was set up for a wonderful stay, close to town with shops and restaurants. Enjoyed local attractions around the area. Little chilly in January but space heaters worked great!

I can not say enough about my stay! Everything was perfect, from start to end. The cottage was charming, comfortable, all the amenities, and a sweet tea welcome. The grounds around the cottage are perfectly maintained, complete with hammock, porch chairs. Town of Summerville was just up the street and offered many choices for dining snd wine tasting! I can't wait to return! Thank you to my fabulous hosts!
