Jinu the Host, came over 230km just to pick us up from the Hotel In Kochi. He was well presented and spoken. Made us comfortable instantly. He offered to take us wherever we wished to go. He advised on the right places to have food in. He also purchased our tickets and this avoided us waiting in long queues especially in the hot weather.. He provided us with amazing and lovely home cooked meal. A taste to die for. The homestay is just a km from Kovalam Chowara Beach. We wish Jinu well and will r Highly recommend his place for a clean and comfortable stay 👌

Probably the best homestay we’ve stayed in during our 4 weeks in Kerela! We had booked the penthouse (which is a really nice space!) but after arriving and seeing the cottages we decided to pay extra to stay in one. They are beautifully clean, modern but with the old school charm. They also come with huge decked balcony & full kitchen all for use of the cottages. The gardens are so relaxing and well kept. Definitely book here if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Kovalam. (note- we had a car so found it very easy to get to the beach, port & quick trip to Poovar. It’s a little tucked out the way but sure it would be easy to arrange autos/taxis)

Great stay at Jeevan's home stay and I stayed for 12 days. There is a kitchen attached if you want to cook. I had a car so moving around was not a problem. I recommend this place for a stay to be around Chowara and somatheeram beach...

Very clean home and nice hosts.

Everything was wonderful. The owner is so helpful and friendly and the place is clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a basic kitchen and some nice outdoor areas to sit.

For me.it was just a bit too far away from everything b9ut if you have a scooter to get around it is a great spot as it is quiet and relaxed.

Safe place for family and jinu is an excellent host

We spent 3 nights in the cottage, a perfect place also to european standards.Evering is in working order and clean. Well equipped kitchen can be used. Jinu ist a excellent host and also a taxi driver, so you can do your travel arrangements with him.

Jeevans Homestay is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. If you like a secluded private stay with lots of trees you will love this location. We stayed at the one bedroom cottage and there's just something about the great outdoors. We found the place to be clean, very inviting and downright classic. The host Jinu Jeevan was extremely accomodating. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely recommend 🔥🔥

the property is better than what we expected... everything was super clean and comfortable. the host jinu is really nice and suggested us good places to visit near by kovalam

1. Located in calm locality far fron hustle bustle of tourists and commercial establishments. 2. Beautiful secluded chowara beach 15 mts walk with only few locals and mostly foreigners staying in adjacent resorts. I had been to kovalam beach but it was crowded. Of course chowara beach has no water sports. 3. Owner is a very sweet person who is well connected and responsive to all your needs and is not money oriented and exploitative. 4. Bikes are available for self use without exorbitant charges. Charges are equal to what is being offered by other bike companies in trivandrum.i hired yamaha scooter for 500 a day and 300 for 1/2day. No problems in condition of bike. 5. There are heritage rooms which are really beautiful. 6. If needed owner arranges for his home food. Which is excellent. 7. Garden and landscaping are excellent 8. Excellent parking for self driven cars and bike 9. Budget stay, cost me 3800 for 2 nights 1300 fo 2.5 day bike hire at resort. 10. I visited trivandrum from this place by bike for temple visit and covered almost all local sites and poovar boating which is nearby. 11. Overall win win situation

1. Little far from trivandrum 22kms and 5 kms from kovalam and vizhinam lighthouse. But all are accessible by bike or car. Owen also arranged pick up and drop by auto for rs600 each trip from trivandrum. It was reasonable. 2. It is only people who want peace and calm staying with nature in almost farm like setting. This cannot be considered as what I did not like. I really liked the calm and peace as I come from Chennai

Location and host Jeevan are excellent

We booked an upper floor at first. But when we had arrived, we were offered to stay at the separate building on the territory. The house consists of two rooms with separate entries and mutual kitchen (refrigerator, dishes, gas stove, kettle). Room has attached bathroom. The house is new, including furniture, bathroom, kitchen equipment. Everything is very clean and neat: the house (everyday cleaning possible), the garden. Bathroom is spacious with hot water. There is garden furniture, AC in the room, WiFi. You can have a transfer, laundry, Indian breakfast for additional payment. The place is quiet, but you can easily reach supermarket and bus stop on foot. The host is very helpful and responsible. He helped me with all my nneeds (sim card, bike, money exchang ing, etc).

It's better to have a bike to reach the beach. It takes an about 25 minutes to go on foot and there are mountainous stairs on the way. And one more thing with no connection to a house. Swimming in the ocean is quite challenging, because the waves are quite big, but overcomable for a good swimmers.

location was perfect, and the accommodation was excellent and spotlessly clean, on a clear day you could see the ocean through the surrounding landscape. the bungalow itself was in a beautifully kept garden. close to Kovalam beach and short drive to town.

only that the hot water facility was poor
