The place was really very nice, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. There were also plenty of little useful things like a picnic bag, sunscreen spray or key sterilizer, e.g. A really very nice and helpful bonus was the initial food supply that the host made for us. This accommodation met and even exceeded my expectations. There is going to be a change of ownership during this season - we wish the new owner to do as well as the previous one. The previous host, Henry, defined very high standard. 10 points absolutely deserved (need to notice that I am quite a strict client, spoiled by 5* all inclusive resorts).

I liked that they had a big bottle of shampoo and the toilet paper was soft. The bed was comfortable. I liked that they provided us with eggs and oatmeal. It seemed like they really try to make it where you don’t have to go to the store.

I really hate to complain, but it was a bit dirty. I went 2 weeks without a single clean towel. When we tried to wash our own towels we brought, he got upset. I don’t like only being able to wash 2 loads a week. I’m used to being very clean in my own home. I was my towels and rags every day. there, never, not once did I get a clean towel and I had 2 surgeries which require sterile environment. I ended up with an infection from the unsanitary situation and am looking for a 3rd surgery now. When I ordered medicine or groceries, the address was never correct. People have a very hard time finding the place. It is a non refundable stay which means I was stuck with something I hated for 2 weeks. The first day, we found a cockroach hanging out in a bowl. The rules are that you have to give 24 hours notice if you want to use the washer and dryer, we did, but could not use them. The back porch isn’t really a back porch. I’m not sure what picture is on the booking site, but that was not our experience at all. the pictures also show a beach. There isn’t a beach for miles. The home is in the middle of a city. The first nights were cold. The only heat was a plug in electric heater in the living room. Even though it was a bad experience, we tried to extend the stay because I had just been through another surgery and it’s tough to pack up all of the stuff. We couldn’t extend. Although now, we are in a super clean place with nice, clean white towels and no cockroaches. Its absolutely best for my health that I’m gone from there.

We got concerned about cleanliness when we found clothes in the dresser from the previous tenant. Did someone really clean and check the home before we arrived. Could not use breakfast. To much trouble making it yourselves. Also, the owner asked what milk we wanted for breakfast a couple of days before we arrived, so I told him, but that did not happen. Also, some of the stuff in the refrigerator had been opened and used (jam, etc) and we did not want to use it old stuff.

Great breakfast amenities. Great hospitality! Great location. Comfortable bed. Nice gardens.
