Great location, with its own private pool and just a short walk to the beach that our two young kids could handle. The only thing I would suggest to change would be the comfort of all the mattresses.

Great location and house!

House was large and accommodating. Perfect location for beach access and restaurants. Had 3 families staying together for a wedding and everyone had plenty of space to move around and do their own thing.

We had a group of 14 that stayed at this property and had plenty of room! It was very nice and clean. The location is great. I do recommend renting a golf cart. We would definitely rent this house again!!!!!

We had an amazing experience. So fun. Perfect for a large group.

We had a great time making memories with our children and grandchildren. The beach was a short walk from the house and some of the clearest water I.ve seen in Florida. The pool was a hit with the family. It was a great vacation stay.

We enjoyed our stay we had a few issues. The first night the refrigerator in the main house was not working we checked in on a Saturday and had called the property management company 4 times to have it fixed they sent out a company who was great but unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem finally 3 days later they brought a new fridge however it was placed in the dining area which took up a lot of room. It was a huge inconvenience going back and forth to the carriage house for refrigerator items. A couple maintenance issues need to be addressed. Light in laundry room wouldn’t turn on right away. Some handles on the glass door in the master bath were almost falling off. It isn’t disclosed that the public beach access is only about 50 yards of beach as the rest is all private which sucked but we were only a short drive to the state park which the beach was beautiful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay minus the refrigerator The place was in a great location and fit us all perfectly.

No hot water in the master shower, two toilets had issues that we personally fixed, furniture was badly worn, landscaping needed trimming badly. Not impressed.

Enjoyed it. House and rooms were spread out, clean, and tons of room. Property management company was very nice and accommodating. Would stay here again.

We wanted the pool for our toddler children. True Joy still has not give us compensation for the lack of a functioning pool. Renovation is fine however why not replace carpet and all or most of the windows have broken seals. Cannot look outside! Overall it’s just OK

We are currently staying at one of the properties in Crystal Beach. Our check in date was 5/24. We were assured extra cleaning measures would be in place due to the current Covid situation. Upon arriving, we found our rental property absolutely disgusting. Not only were no extra cleaning measures taken, there was not even standard procedures done. The only thing that had done to the property prior to our arriving was new toiletries had been set out. There were hairs in every shower, the floors in the entire house still had sticky residue on them, the kitchen counters had crumbs all over them, the bathroom counters were sticky and grimy. We had to wash all the towels due to hairs being on them and bedding as well. The pool also had sun glasses, a debit card and trash lying in the bottom of it, as well as a beer can and trash in the filter. The carriage house was also disgusting. It had not been cleaned at all either. Dirty laundry was found in 2 of the beds, so that means the bedding was not changed at all from the past guests. The floor had not been vacuumed, the sink doesn’t drain, food left in cabinets and the entire place clearly not cleaned at all. My husband and I had to immediately go spend $100 in cleaning supplies out of our pocket plus spend 2 hours before our other guests arrived to clean the house. I called the emergency maintenance number and waited on hold for 30 minutes the day of check in and just to be told “Sorry for the inconvenience and they would have someone to the house at 10am the next day to clean “again” “. No one ever showed up as promised. On top of all that, there is no beach view as described in the property description and photos. And the public beach area was a joke as far as size. This has most certainly been out first and last time renting a property with this company. Beware of renting.

Only thing that needs changed online is the picture of the ocean view from the front of the house, it is no longer a ocean view, because of new condos going up, taking the place of the ocean view!

We have a been dissatisfied/disappointed with this trip. First the gun that was left in the closet that one of the kids could have found to the beach area that was such a small square to have on the beach for all the people who rents these house was horrible. Parking should have been explained better. we was told there would be extra parking at an over flow parking space and 2 times I called and talked about the over flow space and even ask could we park our boat the our boat trailer in it and they said no hoa will not allow it. then on the day we got there we was told the over flow space didnt exist and we could park our vehicles in a public parking lot. Ridiculous We would have booked another home if we would have known ..the grounds had a horrible smell that my mother and dad left the guest house 2 days early very unhappy. thankfully we brought the boat and found our own beach. We travel every year sometimes twice a year. this is the first time in 10 yrs I have just had to apologize to my family for this vacation

This house was a great house for my salons beach retreat. BUT There was a lot of things that needed attention inside the house.washing machine, bathroom fixtures , dining table was not sturdy,dishes and utensils were spotty .. the closest Beach access is so tiny and was so crowded when we were there for the holiday had to walk a little further distance but wasn’t a bad location overall.

We had a great time at this beach house, it was so close to the beach, just a quick walk across the street, the pool in the back yard was awesome for the kids, although we could not figure out how to turn on the pool light..otherwise the house was very clean, very big, it had enough room to fit our entire group, I have no complaints at all, and I'm sure we will be back in the future!

The address that was listed was incorrect. It was listed as 2717 old hwy 98, but it’s really 2719 old hwy road. We still figured it out when we got there so it wasn’t too big of a deal. Upon arrival, we noticed that the stove was chipped and had cracks in one of the corners. Later in the night, when it was time to bring the kids upstairs for bed, as we were going upstairs, one of the two year old almost fell off the second floor due to one of the railings not screwed to the top railing. He barely touched the railing and the stick just fell over to the first floor. We looked and saw that there wasn’t even a screw in that rail. If it wasn’t for us holding him as he was walking upstairs, he really would have fallen off. We waited till the morning time to call them to have someone come and service the stairs. We noticed that most of those railings required tightening, they were all very loose, so for the remaining of the stay, we had to use a bed sheet and some towels to block off the railings. The next morning we called maintenance to have it serviced, and asked if we can have an expected time someone can come. The person answering the phone sounded very unconcerning, even after mentioning a two year old nearly fell off the second floor, and said no they couldn’t give me an expected time because they are on a schedule so they don’t know when someone will get there. I had to tell her, to make sure to put an urgent note on it and have someone to come out ASAP bc it would be a big liability if the two year old actually fell from the second floor. I called them at around 8 am and they came out at around 9am, which isn’t too bad, thankfully. Beside from all of the problems we’ve encountered, the distance to the beach was great. The kids enjoyed the pool as well. We MAY consider coming back IF they would fix those hazardous issues.

This was a nice clean house with lots of amenities, including a private pool, carriage house and close access to the beach.

The rooms and design of the house were as pictured. The management staff was very friendly and responsive with questions/issues that arose. The walk to the beach was more involved than the listing indicated, which was a large part of why we spent as much as we did to rent this house. That was a big let down. Otherwise the pool was lovely, the house was spacious, and we had a great vacation.

The beach house was very spacious and no one was on top of each other. The view and proximity to the beach was awesome. It’s location almost perfect, it was close enough to everything that we weren’t in the thick of Destin beach traffic. Aside from a few cosmetic flaws here and there around the house, it was an awesome mini vacay. We would definitely book this place again when returning to the area.

We had plenty of space for 3 families. The pool was a huge bonus and the beach is just across the street. The deck was a great hang out spot for us. Really never needed to leave except for food. Highly recommend!

This house is in need of many repairs! There was not a day that went by that we didn't have something go wrong and have to place a call into the office. After first checking in, we noticed one of the closest doors completely off. Later that evening the kitchen sink was leaking as well as the master bathroom sink. The master shower head was broken and water was spraying out onto the floor. The start knob on the dryer was completely broken off (They gave us pliers to use to turn it on). The Wi-Fi code was not listed on fridge as directions stated it would be. Once we called for the code, we found out it was horrible service. The upstairs bathroom had very little hot water (only good for about the first few minutes). In a house that sleeps this many, there needs to be enough hot water for everyone to take showers. The final straw was the front door came off the hinges and we couldn't close it. Called several times that day and no one ever came to fix. We had to get a neighbor to help us close the door that evening so we could lock it (SAFETY concern). They came the next day to fix. The repair people were very nice and accommodating once they arrived, but this house should not be rented out again until a thorough inspection is done. We called to speak to the manager, but have yet to receive a call back. This house is not worth the money spent!

Expected more from the house. It was for sale and needed repairs and upkeep. Had fun at the beach and nice kitchen

Beach access is very limited (oceanfront condos “own” almost every inch of the beach in this area- very frustrating and disappointing. House itself was great (although kitchen utensils lacking & all from Dollar General). Common areas, bedrooms, baths excellent in the main house. Cottage just ok compared to the rest of the house. Easy walk to restaurants and stores

Clean and well mainted, lots of room for 5 families, nice decorations. pool is small but comfortable. Nice patio, lots of chairs.

Beautiful home with a excellent view of the beach. I really enjoyed my stay.

My family rate this property a ten(10), one we wi) visit again in the future.
