This was our second year staying at this condo with our two adult children and their mates. The condo is in a great location near the gondola in Lionshead. It is very clean and comfortable. The three full baths and full laundry are a bonus! The two hot tubs were always available after skiing all day. The property owner reached immediately to address any concerns - which we had none. The kitchen has everything you will need. Beds were super comfortable. Views of the mountain are spectacular. I can’t recommend more highly!

This was our second stay at this fabulous lionshead village condo - and we loved it just as much the second time as we did the first. Incredible location, great space, convenient parking and ski storage, wonderful amenities, and responsive hosts. Looking forward to booking for a round three next year!

Excellent place to stay and very close to Lionhead's Gondola. Michael was great to work with and the place was nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (I love to cook). I hope to go back again next year!

This property was perfect for our family. Short walk to the Lionshead base and convenient to many shops and restaurants. The town shuttle stop was just across the street. Michael was very helpful - quick answers to emails and lots of useful tips for local services. The condo was comfortable and well-stocked. We will visit again!

This is the perfect balance of size, location, and VALUE. This was the most economical listing in VRBO for Lionshead south of the interstate. A very short walk to everything, more than ample room for a family of four, clean, and what a view! Follow Michael's recommendation and rent your gear from Performance Sports...they were great as well. Very highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Michael's condo in Lionshead Village Vail, CO. The location was excellent for skiing, apres, and taking the shuttle to Vail Village. The views from the condo were amazing and the condo layout was such a great use of space! Also, there were so many nice touches, a fully stocked spice rack, kitchen essentials, good linens, and great wifi and entertainment. I would definitely recommend it!

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay here. The view can’t be beat, it’s a short walk to the gondola, ski storage was super easy. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and spacious dining table and it was a joy to relax on the sectional at the end of the day. We are looking forward to returning again next year!

Had a great time in Michael’s condo. Very comfy with everything you need. Super easy access to Lionshead square and gondola. Performance Sports just steps away was a great spot for rentals per Michael. Will store your equipment plus 20% off with reservation. Shuttle stop to Mid Vail very close also. Would definitely recommend.

The location is ideal - just a short walk to the gondola or born free lift and a GREAT view of the mountain. The huge kitchen table was ideal for eating and playing games. The hot tubs were great after a day of skiing. The living room had plenty of space for all of us (6 adults) to take in a movie in the evening. The gas grill on the balcony provided another great option for cooking. Three full bathrooms made sharing space that much better. The host was great to work with and provided many extras in the unit that we didn’t expect (like laundry detergent). Finally, the on-site maintenance man, Moe, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful.

Beautiful view, close to lifts and gondola, easy access, covered garage spot included, very well stocked, great pots and pans, very good washer /dryer. Perfect retreat after skiing all day with our two teenagers, room enough for personal space. Very nice master bath. Three bathrooms!

I would definitely recommend this property. It is set-up nicely; and it is roomy and very comfortable. The best part of our arrival was finding that it was well stocked with your kitchen, bathroom and laundry consumable items. This included coffee, refrigerated condiment items as well as spices. All of this makes for a nice start to a vacation. We were there for 10 days so we prepared more of our meals than eating out. The location of the City Market (our favorite) and Kroger's is what we found to be a very positive experience because you could get in your vehicle and in less than five minutes you were grocery shopping. For those making the trip for the first time to Colorado, make sure you sign-up for their grocery cards; otherwise, you won't benefit from their club saving discounts.
As far as the location to the lift, it was nice and easy. It was less than a 10-minute walk from the property to the lift; and I would definitely consider this a ski-in/ski-out location.
The Lions Gate Village is convenient and close. There are numerous restaurants and shops to visit. By the way, there is a great sushi place by Kroger's. It's called Joy Sushi and it is awesome... very fresh.
The hot tubs are nice so go enjoy them after a fun day of skiing. I would definitely give this place a 4.9 out of 5 which is excellent. Plus, Michael is a great host and he communicated before and while we were there to make sure we didn't run into any problems.

For our group this place was perfect. The location is really a short walk to gondola, you do have to go thru some stairs but it was not an issue for us. It is close to the shuttle and that was great also for the non skiers. The apartment has everything you might need including board games for those lazy afternoons. I particularly enjoyed the bathrooms, did not have to wait for the teenagers to be done with! They had their own! Lovely! We brought our binoculars and would seat in the balcony and enjoy a wine and recharge. If you have any questions the host is quick to respond. Yes. I would stay here again.

This condo exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic- a minute to the snow literally. Grocery adjacent to the condo, you are in the middle of Lions Head with short walk to Vail Village if you want to explore both villages. Unit is well laid out, well stocked with exceptional views and sunlight. The loft was larger than expected. Having three bedrooms with three bathrooms was great for our two teens. Everyone had plenty of room, and we were able to use the complimentary wifi to work/ attend classes as needed. Owner was very responsive. Highly highly recommend- especially when searching in Vail/ Lions Head for space next to the slopes. We will definitely be back.

My family and I recently stayed at this property and are so glad we booked here. We usually stay at a Marriott property using points but since it was Covid, we really needed a larger place where we could cook meals full time. My kids (ages 13 and 11) loved having their own rooms and this condo had a third room and loft upstairs; gave them some privacy and space. We had beautiful views of the mountain and skiers out our back windows and balcony. Don't let some of the dark pictures fool you. There is plenty of great light in this property which you wouldn't think in one of the pics online. The large couch was great at night for watching movies and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could want. The property manager even left us a bottle of wine with a welcome note when we arrived which was a nice touch. We loved going to the hot tub every night and as always met some really nice families every day there. Only a short 5 min walk to the gondola too. We loved this property and would go back again in a heart beat.

From the first interaction with Michael, this has been a terrific experience. He is very responsive and helpful. The condo is a comfortable two level unit with three bathrooms, three bedrooms and ample space. The killer views of the mountain were just as pictured and a real treat. The home was equipped with everything a family needs for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and in-unit washer and dryer. Our teens had an easy walk to Performance ski rental and the gondola. The covered parking was a plus. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you, Michael!

We had as good a time as possible in this strange Covid year. None of the things that I thought were lacking on this trip had anything to do with the unit. It is a great location and offers one of the best views in Lionshead. It was hard to imagine the layout from the photos (for us) but it's great and the upstairs loft area was far bigger than I imagined. The small separate office area came in really handy as one of us had some telecommuting work to do while there and the separate office area was perfect to focus and keep out the distractions of everyone else,mainly the kids playing and making noise as kids do. If you can brave the cold (during ski season) the balcony is amazing and much larger than I expected as well.Overall the unit was the best equipped for actual living in of any VRBO I have been to. Kitchenwise we found everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and few different types of pillows in case you wanted softer or firmer to sleep on. The couch in the living room even had a few throw blankets for curling up in around the fireplace. The games and especially the 1000 piece Vail Trail Map puzzle were very appreciated. The kids were very happy with the movie selection we found on the streaming cable as well. We used the community hot tub once and the kids loved getting warm in the tub, then walking in the snow and then back into the tub. We happened to run into the on site maintenance guy who told us the tubs are drained and refilled daily, so although there is some chlorine, it's not so bad as to sting your eyes as I have had at other places.Although there were plenty of places open locally, we decided to eat in every night and not play Covid roulette… except on our 2 shopping trips around the town. As I said in the beginning the only 2 negatives I can mention had Zero to do with the unit which I give 5 stars with no problem. Both issues have directly to do with Vail and the current Covid restrictions which are necessary but unfortunate. Having kids we were hoping to use a ski valet service to leave our skis and poles right next to the lift, but the usual place that does it (Arabelle) was not accepting any non rented and non resident skis, so the 3 of us who had our own equipment carried it back and forth the 10 minutes each way daily (10 minutes as the kids don’t move that fast). The 2nd I wouldn't have known about except I had been to Vail previously and LOVED the free Village transport that came thoug

My husband and I took our two boys to Vail to social distance. The condo was a perfect place to relax and spend some great family time, and with so much within walking distance it is the perfect location. Not to mention the view!!!!!

Our vacation was great and it was enhanced by the attentiveness and care of the condo's owners. The space easily accommodated our group of eight and stepping out on the deck added to the pleasure both at the beginning and end of the day. Bedrooms are well designed with plenty of room and having bath facilities for each. All amenities, linens, towels, cookware, etc. were in ample supply and it was easy to see that the owners take pride in keeping everything well maintained. Lionshead is a great base area due to easy access to lifts, shops, and dining and this condo puts you right there. We highly recommend this property for a great Vail experience.
