Charming cottage just a short walk to grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with cooking essentials like spices, mustard, and mayo as well a pound of Peets coffee!

The home, location, area, weather, and practically every other aspect of our stay was perfect. Highly recommend. We will be back.

The Lavender Cottage in Point Reyes Station has been beautifully updated and cared for. My husband and I especially enjoyed the front living room and the backyard patio and flower garden. We liked being in easy walking distance of the Palace Market, Point Reyes Books (the towns independent bookstore), Bovine Bakery and an assortment of shops and restaurants. This was our second time staying at Lavender Cottage. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this lovely, welcoming home in beautiful Point Reyes.

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone, especially those wanting to be walking distance to the restaurants and shops at Point Reyes Station.

Traveled to Point Reyes area with long time friends and my daughter. We found the house so welcoming. We spent quality time in conversation, sharing simple meals and playing cards. By day we discovered surrounding vistas, walks and food. Great stay, so peaceful.

So enjoyable, great location and sparkling clean. We loved hiking in the area, returning to your hot tub in the evening and being able to walk into town for a coffee or dinner.

We estimate that we have stayed here over 30 times now- both as a couple and with our children. It is always lovely and always perfect.

Great location! Grocery store, restaurants and boutiques are within 2 blocks. Eileen’s place if clean, comfy with all the kitchen essentials. Lovely backyard to enjoy outdoor dining. Highly recommended!

House met all our needs for playing games and cooking while it rained outside.

This was such a lovely place-clean, beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The host was responsive and helpful when we had questions. Walking distance to Pt. Reyes Station. Really enjoyed our stay.

We can always depend on the Lavender Cottage as a lovely place to stay in Point Reyes Station. It was only 2 of us this trip, however there is ample room for another couple to share the cottage. And a desk that is large enough to do puzzling together! We love being able to get up early and go to Tomales Point to see the Elk before the crowds push them further out from sight. Also ate at the new Station House Cafe and Hog Island and both were delicious! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful property, Eileen and Martin!

Lavender House Cottage is a favorite place we stay when we come to Point Reyes to enjoy day hikes. It is home away from home-comfortable sofas to curl up in to read, a beautifully equipped kitchen for cooking home made meals, a very peaceful street and backyard.

Every detail is anticipated, the furnishings are elegant, the kitchen is stocked to an exactly standard, the garden is serene, and the location is perfect within Point Reyes Village. Easy communication with the owner whose instructions are helpful and anticipate every question. This is our 4th or 5th stay and we highly recommend.

Gorgeous and impeccably maintained cottage. Pretty gardens, comfortable bed, cozy sitting rooms, well appointed kitchen. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Walked a couple of blocks to the delicious bakery in the morning, and to restaurants and shops in the afternoon. Great home base for hiking and exploring the area. Hope to return!

Lavender House was a delightful spot for home base for our family of five (kids 13, 10, 7) to explore the area over our recent Fall Break. Eileen and Martin offered many wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities that we might enjoy. Communication was easy and they had a binder that included everything we may need to know about the home right at our fingertips. The beds were so comfortable and the home included anything that we may need to make our stay comfortable (fluffy towels, plenty of paper products, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc). We enjoyed preparing several meals at home and found nothing lacking in the kitchen. The brie and crackers that welcomed us when we arrived were a lovely surprise. The outdoor space is beautiful. It was a perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the mornings or an evening pre-dinner drink. Our children were grateful for some space to move about as well. The home was an easy walk to several restaurants and bakeries, as well as a small grocery store and a farmer market on Saturday morning. We would most definitely stay here again and are glad that Eileen and Martin share their space with visitors to the area!

One of the best appointed places we have stayed in. Kitchen had everything we needed. Even the knives were sharp! Lovely hot tub with robes provided. Overall, an excellent experience. Travelers should be forewarned that the host requires a $500.00 refundable check to be left on the property in case of damage.

This cottage has to be the best vrbo experience I've ever had. It was better than the pictures! It was beyond clean too. The beds were comfortable, the decor was homey, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need, the binder had information clearly written to answer any questions you might have and several highlights of the area. The property was private and beautifully landscaped. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit. My grandson thought it would be a perfect place for me to live!!

Eileen’s home is spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor patio. It is very conveniently situated to allow all that Point Reyes has to offer.

Lavender house is an absolutely lovely getaway. The backyard is a special retreat and the house has everything you need. It’s a magical place we return to year after year.

Our stay was for a wedding weekend in the area and it was delightful from the place (cozy chic) to communication both before and during our stay. The hot tub soothed our weary bones after a long trip to Point Reyes. Well stocked kitchen made us feel welcome from the start. A 10 out of 10. We hope to return! Thank you Eileen!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Lavender House! The house was very nice and is situated in a perfect location for exploring the area. The hosts were great also. We would definitely do this trip again.
