Mission Beach gets nicer and more relaxing the farther south you go... and this house is at the most southern tip. The neighborhood was very family friendly and quite, perfect for a family getaway. The bay is one house away, and it was perfect for young kiddos to play in the sand and calm water. There is also a big park very nearby with a playground. The ocean side is only 100 yards away, which was great for the older kids to go boogie boarding and play volleyball (there are a bunch of volleyball courts very close to the house, fun to watch!). Belmont Park and several restaurants are within walking distance, and there are endless paths along the water for walking or biking. Ralphs grocery store was a 5 minute drive and convenient, there's a little market a couple blocks away but it was pretty small, but fine for the basics. As for the house, it was beautiful and perfect for our family. Enough space for everyone to spread out, furnished nicely, and it had all the basics you would need. We appreciated the beach supplies provided like boogie boards and beach chairs and sand toys. With three private sections all under one roof, it was perfect for providing enough privacy for the different groups within our extended family. The rooftop was lovely with amazing views of the bay and ocean. Stacey and Andrew were very responsive, provided a excellent welcome letter to make check in a breeze (all of the doors have codes, so no key exchange was necessary), and parking instructions were very clear and easy. We couldn't recommend more!

This home was perfect for our group- with multiple bedrooms and living spaces it was spacious yet intimate. We loved the luxury of having everyone in one location without the impersonal experience of a hotel and with three living rooms and three kitchens we all had the space to spread out. The house is incredibly maintained and recently remodeled which is rare at the beach! We had a memorable time and appreciate the hospitality!
