The location was great, but the unit was a bit disappointing. Bedrooms very small, cramped. Linens and pillows not so nice. Good towels, but no hand towels. Kitchen was was nice but dishes, towels , glasses and utensils were in short supply.

Really enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to the beach and the deck space. Communication with the owner was very good. We weren’t left many towels by the cleaner and she took care of it right away, which we appreciated. I would suggest replacing all the sheets and bath towels - they were older and worn and new ones would be nice. Also suggest having the cleaners check the grill - it needed a really good scrubbing before we could use it. We’d stay here again!

My husband and 2 teens and dog and I had a fantastic stay at this house. It’s very close to the beach, has everything you could need, and is quiet and comfortable. A great value for this amazing neighborhood! We’d love to come back soon.

We needed a beach getaway that was easy and stress free. The house had easy parking, clean bathrooms, and was a 2 min walk to the beach. We drove easily to vineyards, other beaches, yummy BBQ, farms, and a children's marine discovery center. Many of the places we explored were at the recommendation of the owner provided ahead of the trip. Thank you for that! Our only issue was that the kid's room got very cold at night even when we ran the heat downstairs...didn't see any vents in that room itself so that is probably why. Wasn't a big deal.

This vacation home is just perfect all around, clean, cozy and excellent for walking to the beach and the neighborhood. Communication with Myriam was top notch, we are definitively looking forward to staying at the Ocean Queen again.

Had a great stay. Home was clean, well stocked, and close to many amenities. Even though it located is near a motel and busy beach area, noise was minimal. Would stay again.

This was a SUPERB coastal stay throughout! Family and dog friendly. The host (Myriam) was very nice and easy to communicate. We enjoyed the recommendations to explore this area and our children enjoyed eating at Pixie Deli, taking strolls by the nearby beach and hiking at the local state parks. My Family and Pup loved it and can't wait to go back. Thank you!!

My husband and I come quite often to visit our daughter and grandson in Santa Cruz. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one was one of the best. Very clean, comfortable king bed, kitchen with all the necessary dishes, etc. for cooking meals, and a great location. Can walk to a beautiful beach and a quick drive to Santa Cruz.

We picked this house for its proximity to the beach. The neighborhood it’s in is full of little beach bungalows. You can’t quite see the beach from the house, but it’s literally just around the corner. It seemed like the house would be noisy, given its busy location, but it was very quiet and peaceful inside. There are two small but comfy bedrooms downstairs, along with a very well-equipped (lots and lots of towels!) shared bathroom. Upstairs is an open living room/dining room/kitchen combo and a half bath with washer and dryer. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the dining table was roomy. A comfortable sofa and arm chair made the living room a good place to hang out. Some books and games are provided. There were TVs in the living room and master—we didn’t use them, but I think they’d be good for rainy days. The upstairs deck was a great place to sit under the umbrella with a glass of wine and enjoy the neighborhood. Finally, we communicated with the owner a couple of times and found her to be quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend this home!

This house was perfect for our weekend away to celebrate our son's 26th birthday. 4 adults very comfortable. Close to plenty to do, see, eat, and walk. 2 blocks to beach is a huge bonus. We will rent this again when we only need 2 bedrooms. I appreciated the owner's timely responses to my emails.

My friend and I (and her little dog) had a three-day mini-vacation at this lovely beach house. The place was spotless, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, the living area is cozy, and it is in a very quiet area. A huge bonus is the proximity to the beach, which is two short blocks away. In short, it has. everything one could wish for in a vacation rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coast Queen, it was 1 block from the beach, super cute, nicely, updated, quiet and a great patio. Looking forward to staying again!

Such a fabulous beach house! My family of 4 (including 2 teens) all had a great time and were able to spread out after our day at the beach. The rental actually looks better in person- very clean and well stocked. There were even birthday candles there...no detail was overlooked. Though it was a busy week with spring break, with all surrounding rentals occupied, it was very quiet and serene. The price is very reasonable and so much better than staying a hotel. We will definitely be back.

A close block to a very nice beach

We enjoyed this place. It was walking distance to the beach coffee shop. For future vacationers, more comfortable beds in the second bedroom and more kitchen items such as bowls, glasses, and sharp knives would be good.

This place is exactly as advertised. It's a charming place, well-appointed, and practically steps from the beach. The host was always super helpful and communicative. She even had an extensive house binder that contained a ton of information that was easy and fun to read about many attractions and eateries nearby. We'll be back again, for certain!

If I would change anything, I would say that the living room could really use a coffee table, but I moved the small round table over to the couch so that I had a table. Everything was great, thank you.

What a lovely spot! We had such a great time here! You are literally a block away from the beach, a huge deck -- absolutely charming. The host is extremely responsive as well. There is also an outlet right next to the parking spot which was extremely helpful to us as we have an electric vehicle. There is a small market a block away (think 7/11 style) or a larger grocery store that's 1-2 miles away. Would definitely stay here again.

Myrian, Our stay was amazing! It was a two minute walk to the beach, neighborhood market, fine dinning, coffee specialties, with the relaxing sound of the ocean waves 24/7. The king size bed was very, very comfortable. The bunk beds were comfy also! This apartment had everything we needed. Great cable, a plethora of movies, etc. ***Easy access to the freeway for so many bright spots to visit. ***Thank you, for checking on us to be sure everything was running ***smooth. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We would totally stay here again! Myriam is so response and easy to work with. Great location with a short walk to the beach. We forgot to sign your guestbook, but we will do it next time we stay at the Coast Queen! :)
