Loved the stay 10 people stayed plenty of room would definitely do it again

We had friends with their kids from Texas all stay together at this house. 11 total and there was still plenty of room. Great location and views of beach and lagoon. Owners are great very helpful and went out of their way. Our families made memories that will last forever. Definitely recommend and would come back.

Our group, ranging from 8 months to 63 years old, stayed at the Compass Rose for a return visit. The location and layout of the house are hard to beat in Gulf Shores. The value and proximity to the beach and lagoon are perfect. Just far enough away from town that it feels a little less busy. The owners are responsive and accommodating. Our group’s only complaint is that the house could use some cosmetic updating such as furniture and fixtures. Everything seemed the same since we last stayed in 2018 and is showing quite a bit of wear. All very minor things, but we still give the rental 5 stars!

Took our kids and grandkids 14 people in all. The house was just as described. Great location across the street from the beach and a shared swiming pool. Everyone enjoyed both. Went fishing off the pier very peaceful. Would recommend this property to everyone. Would stay here again. Thank you for shareing your beach house with us.

Loved the entire week! We had 12 people from ages 4 to 75! Plenty of room to spread out, lots of bathrooms, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool and dock, easy beach access. Amy was a dream. We had other family members who rented house 3. A trip of a lifetime!

Our very large family was served perfectly by the Compass Rose. Casual comfort, convenient location to the beach, and bedrooms for everybody. We have nothing but compliments about our stay. Feel very confident about booking the Compass Rose.

This rental property was the best choice we have ever made using this app! We had our family of 9, 6 adults plus 3 grandkids ages 8-13. The house has everything you need as a rental should have inside plus an extra bonus of offering beach wagon, beach toys, a few chairs and beach towels. Large TV’s in every room but we only turned on the living room TV for kids a few times while we adults played dominoes and cards on the perfect dining room table with 8 chairs plus 4 barstools, living room can seat 7 easily. Nice picnic table with charcoal grill in front of parking area under house. All appliances worked perfectly and washer & dryer did too. We did not have to reach out to contact Amy for anything during our stay but to let her know how much we really enjoyed making memories with our family at this beautiful Safe home. We would rent this house each time for this vacation destination. Thank you

I would definitely recommend! We loved the house and close proximity to the beach., a very easy walk. The community pool was nicely maintained. We had several questions before and during our stay and the property manager was very quick to respond! The only negative I have to mention is there is no daybed/sleep futon in the King Master Bedroom as indicated on the property description which left us short a bed in an actual bedroom. However, there was a sleeper sofa in the living room.

We lost our father last May and prior to his passing we had been planning a family vacation with all of my siblings and our children. We decided even after he was no longer with us that we should still go on vacation to honor his memory. I am very thankful we found this place! The home is beautiful, it accommodated our large family and it was a perfect location! We hope to visit again soon!

Compass Rose fit the bill on so many levels. Accommodations were great. The property was very clean and well stocked not to mention extra touches such as beach towels, toys and chairs. Our family was in Gulf Shores for our destination wedding and we had enough room for the wedding party to get ready as well as our family to hangout and enjoy each other’s company. The beach and bay are within walking distance with amazing views. Our hearts were sad to leave but we will most definitely be back!!!!! 5 STARS and then some 😎

The Compass Rose was a wonderful place to enjoy the beach and fun of Gulf Shores! The accommodations were very nice! Great amenities and location! Beach walks and sunrises/sunsets were beautiful! The lagoon was such fun for finding hermit crabs and clams! We will be back!

Great location for beach & bay. Our boys enjoyed fishing, all of us enjoyed the beach. The house is great, perfect fit for our family. The tile floors on bottom level were really dirty, our feet were black on that first day so we wore flipflops in the house the rest of the time. The air conditioning was out on top floor but Kay was on top of that & was fixed the following morning. Still over all...a great house & location!!!

Very short distance to walk to the beach. Right next to the pool. Very homey. They provided beach toys, boards, wagon,stroller, towels. Very nice. The beds were amazing and the stay was beyond amazing.

What a great place! Comfortable, Convenient, And it Felt Like Home! The dock, the pool, the atmosphere was just awesome! The hosts were awesome and always available! We want to return to the Compass Rose!

Space and location was perfect for our family of 15. Great price! Beds were comfortable except for bottom bunk of bunk bed was a futon mattress. Need to replace pillows as they’re flat. A better description of the pools toys and chairs would be helpful because there’s an abundance of them which we appreciated! Had concerns related to the cleanliness of the home but property management was quick to respond!

The property was very nice, spacious, accommodating with amenities and just perfect for my family and I. Only issue we had is the shared bathroom upstairs being difficult to lock and the bedroom off the bathroom door would not lock. Perfect location for pool and beach access. I would definitely rent again. Perfect location even though I passed the entrance often at night. Would recommend for anyone to rent.

House is spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with anything you might need. 5 beds, 4.5 baths, would be great for any group. The entrance is a little hard to find especially at night. 1956 is just on a sign by the road, then Compass Rose is house #4. Hosts responded quickly and we had no issues. Would stay here again.

Everything went smooth and when we needed something the owner was on top of it. Very roomy house with plenty of accessories. Walking distance to beach and pool was definitely a great bonus. Would stay again, thanks!

Wonderful location. Beach is just across the street. The pier on the lagoon is amazing. House was spacious enough for our family.

Loved the location. Quick Beach access, short walk to fish the private pier, and pool access! Low traffic area but still minutes drive from all the buzz. Spacious enough to accommodate multiple families comfortably. Property owner was very responsive to all inquiries prior to and during our trip. We will definitely be back!

This property was beautiful and spacious with the perfect location not even 100 yards away from the beach. Will definitely stay here again
