Great get away out of the city but not far

Beautiful property that is sadly not kept well. Cobwebs inside the house and bees and overgrown weeds in the yard kept us from truly enjoying the property we paid for. On site Caretakers were out of contact throughout our stay. Mattresses sagging in all 4 bedrooms. Beds in 2 of the rooms are very high off the ground, which could be a concern for some guests, but is not mentioned in the property description. Many check out instructions despite charging a hefty cleaning fee had us feeling that we were leaving the place better than we found it. Finally, a resident bat bid us farewell!!!

For many years now myself along with friends have been doing wine tasting in California and Oregano; and we have stayed at some amazing place. Casi Cielo has just been the best, it was like being in Tuscany. The home has all the charm of an Italian villa, it had everything on property to make our stay comfortable. My friends and I did some amazing wine tasting and always look forward to returning to this beautiful home to unwind. April along with her husband has done a great job making their guest feels welcome. This is a Place I will definitely stay again in the future. The privacy and opulence of this home is truly what vacation is all about M. PA

Wonderful house tucked away on a vineyard. We loved the kitchen, master bed/bath, and outdoor jacuzzi and deck. One thing to be aware of is that some of the beds are *very* high off the ground (requiring a stool). With that said, we would totally stay there again (in fact, I'm hoping we will!).

Great place to stay with friends and family. Lots of nice spaces and a well equip kitchen for staying in meals. Everything was comfortable and enjoyable

The house was awesome and property was very pretty. We had a great time. The house and furniture were great and a much better experience than most VRBO stays. The kitchen was gourmet, which we really enjoy as we like to cook. We had a few issues while we were there, like the oven never working, the food disposal not working, and the air conditioning not working well. The first two were freak issues that likely will not happen again, and the third was due to the unusual high heat (around 100 degrees). The owner was very responsive, which I appreciated. Despite these unforeseen issues, we had a great time and would absolutely go back again. The house is on a winery, and we really enjoyed going to the tasting room. The wine was very good (much better than expected) and the folks working there were very engaging. I would recommend using an SUV to get to the house as the road is a little rough getting to house. No big deal if you are prepared.

This is not a half effort attempt at offering a tuscan vineyard experience. It is the full monty, with a well constructed and cared for home, wide tasting experience, at the heart of a fully operating vineyard.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Cielo! Our group consisted of 6 women who desperately needed an escape and the Casa was the answer. It was wonderful to start the day off with coffee on the terrace and take a walk through the vineyard and hazelnut trees. The views of the distant hills would never get old. My personal favorite was the view at sunset from the top floor tower. The kitchen had everything we needed for gourmet meals. After our trip, we continue to say “I wish we were still at the Casa”. Would love to come back someday!

What an amazing Architectural work of Art in the middle of 100 acres of pristine vineyards. This home is every persons dream.

The home and the vineyard are absolutely beautiful! Well stocked kitchen! Lots of space for a large group. Hot tub view was breathtaking! 10 out of 10.

Excellent property in beautiful setting. April was responsive. Driveway up to house was a bit bumpy and could use a bit of work but it is a working vineyard. Location was convenient for stopping off along the coast and for popping into the city. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Definitely would recommend! Beautiful location and house. Property owner and caretakers could not have been more helpful. The driveway is not for the faint of heart - gravel road with a lot of deep craters that must be navigated with care. Would hope this can be in better shape. Caretakers were so helpful - responded within minutes of every email. If you ask them to stock the fridge, recommend you specify a budget to avoid surprises.

Fantastic house and views. April and her team did an outstanding job completing an unplanned renovation in time for our family Christmas event that we had planned for over a year. While finishing the was down to the wire, April communicated with us on a regular basis. The house is outstanding and the location’s stunning views could not be better.

Gorgeous wine country estate on hill top with wonderful views. Our family of 9 had lots of room to spread out. We lacked for nothing in the kitchen. Common comment by all was that it was as if the owners were living in the home and when they found out we were coming they left for a few days and allowed us to experience their home. We are hoping to return in the spring.

Sometimes things happen beyond anyone's control. Unfortunately this was the case a day before our trip when a malfunction at the property necessitated our trip being cancelled. April went above and beyond immediately notifying us, offering alternate dates and even suggesting alternate properties. She was very apologetic and we were impressed that, even though this was beyond her (or anyone's) control, she felt it was "her problem" to make sure we were still able to salvage the vacation. In the end, with her assistance we were able to do just that. We look forward to a future trip to Casi Cielo.

Right near Tualatin Estate of Willamette Valley Vineyards, this was a perfect home for our golf and wine weekend. Kitchen was well equipped, we cooked most meals at the house. Don’t forget your swimsuits, the hot tub nestled in back by grape vines was perfect for stargazing.

The beds and sitting areas are very comfy and the kitchen is a dream to use, very well stocked!! It was also a beautiful 60-90 minute drive to the coast where we spent an afternoon after doing a wine tour of the region the day before. We agree with other reviewers; this is an amazing house with top quality furniture, furnishings, and appliances. The kitchen could open up as a kitchen shop it has so much inventory. We had a great visit with old time friends and the house was perfect for that. Chris and Jasmine, the onsite caretakers, were very responsive but not intrusive .The wine taste at Tualitan Estates was great (Lori). Two comments for future bookers. Be sure to carefully review the fees. During booking we were informed there was an additional damage fee. There is a fee for early check-in or late check-out. The 5th bed which sits on the floor in the media room is also additional. Second, you cannot see the incredible views of the vineyard and surrounding hills from the living/dining room or the patio. The garden is overgrown it blocks that view. We wish the garden was better maintained to solve this. These are simple things and did not diminish our great stay.

Overall enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was exceptionally clean and very beautiful. The kitchen seemed to have anything you would possibly need to cook with. We were in town for a family event and spent much of our time at local family members' homes so not able to take advantage of all the amenities. Only a few cons to this place: 1) I felt the parking was inconvenient and barely adequate for a home of this size (parallel parking for 4 vehicles, difficult to get out if you are not the car in back), and 2) I would have expected a rental of this caliber to supply shampoo and soap for showers/baths.

Terrific, secluded property with beautiful views, peace and quiet, as well as all the amenities one could want! Terrific place.

Loved staying at Casa Cielo! Such a beautiful home in the middle of a Vineyard! We enjoyed our daily walks through the wine grapes and down to the quaint Tualatin Winery. Will be back for sure!

Loved this stay! The communication was excellent pre-arrival, and the house was even better than expected. The kitchen was so well stocked with spices and basic baking things as well as tools. We loved drinking wine both at the nearby winery and on the patio! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay - the house and surrounding area are beautiful and the A/C was wonderful to have since we were there in 80-90 degree weather! Also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking and serving dishes.

Our extended family of 9, ages ranging from 17 to 83, stayed at this beautiful villa to attend a wedding in Hillsboro and celebrate our matriarch's 82nd birthday. We traveled to Forest Grove from LA, SF Bay Area and New Orleans. We will treasure the family memories we made at this very well-appointed villa which has everything you could ever need in a short-term rental. The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed most of our meals out on the terrace which had a peekaboo view of the vineyards. We also played CD's from the CD player in the living room through the outdoor speakers for added ambience. A few of us enjoyed the hot tub with a gorgeous view over the vineyards and hills. The Willamette Valley Vineyards Tualatin Estates tasting room is a lovely 10-min stroll from the house and through the vineyards. The winery has a lovely shaded picnic grove between the vineyards and the tasting room. Since the rental does not allow gatherings/parties, you can gather at this picnic grove. There's also a tower room with spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding vineyards. My husband was able to work remotely up there; wifi was excellent. The caretakers live next door and they are very responsive to any problems you may have. We would return in a heartbeat.
