The hosts were gracious and accommodating. The rental was so well appointed…it’s obvious that great attention was paid to detail! Everything I needed was ready and waiting in this beautiful home away from home! I’d absolutely love to “Stay Awhile” again…thank you, Darlene and Paul, for sharing your wonderful home with me!

The one bedroom apartment was incredibly clean. You feel at home there. Owners take loving care of the property. They provide information about Alaska as well as Anchorage. Paul is a wealth of information.

Darlene and Paul are great hosts, it will be tough to stay in a hotel again a after staying here. Love this property it was a very nice comfortable place to stay.

The apartment was super clean, cute, and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, and we had an outdoor space to hang out. Location made it easy to move around the city and the neighborhood offered a great place to take a walk. Next trip to Anchorage will definitely try to stay again. Thank you!

The unit is in a residential area, but well located for everything that you might want to do in Anchorage. The apartment is exceptional: very well equipped, good amenities with information about the area, quiet, and comfortable. It is so well-maintained, you would not think that anyone else stayed there. Great communication with the hosts.

Got in late from our Alaskan cruise and train ride, The place was beautiful. The bed was amazing. Slept till 10 AM the next day cleanest place I’ve ever stayed I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Anchorage Alaska. The apartment is comfortable and well maintained. Paul and Darlene are accommodating and available to answer any questions. The apartment's location is excellent to venture north or south of the city. We had a fabulous time in Alaska and look forward to returning!

Were visiting family in the area and didn't want to impose.....so this option was great for us. Close by and yet we could break away and sleep in a great bed! Hosts were excellent and were helpful in communications!

Solo female traveler & my first time visiting Anchorage, so safety was definitely a top priority. I am so happy with my stay at this property! The space was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed to feel at home. The hosts are warm, kind and so incredibly generous with their space (you will have a separate entrance that opens out into a decent sized lawn!). I felt very safe and welcomed with their communication. So many lovely touches in the apartment speak of their incredible thoughtfulness! They have a great write up on things to do in Anchorage and I visited Kincaid Grill and Orso on their recommendations and loved them! If I ever visit again, I would love to meet Darlene in person too and stay at Paul and Darlene’s property if it’s not already taken!

Very nice place. We liked and appreciated the peacefulness of the area and how well kept the rooms are. Looked and felt like a new home. Everything we needed for 10+ days and you can get to just about everywhere in Anchorage in 15 min or less. If we come back to anchorage we will likely stay here again.

This property exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival after a long day of travel we opened the door and immediately felt at home. The apartment is immaculate. It is nicely decorated with new furnishings and the king size bed is SO comfy! You will want for nothing in this beautiful rental. Everything has been provided with little touches to make our stay even more enjoyable. The book of home tips and how-to's was also filled with restaurant and attraction ideas. We had our week packed with plans and excursions but for someone needing a little idea boost, it was perfect. We were gone many days but looked forward to cuddling up on the couch at the end of the long day. We had time our last night to even enjoy the fire pit which overlooks the mountains and a beautiful lake across the street. Cannot say enough wonderful things about what Darlene and Paul provide their guests.

This was a lovely location to quarantine! The warm and welcoming accommodations are the perfect spot to land after a day of exploring Anchorage. You can get anywhere in the city quickly and easily and the hosts give excellent hiking and exploring advice! The view of the snow covered backyard is a pretty way to wake up and you truly are just steps away from trails, shopping, parks and spectacular views. I will definitely be back on future Alaska visits. Thank you to Paul and Darlene, my gracious hosts. You are the best!
