Every year, the same 2 families get together to rent a house. The slip in the community dock is a great bonus in addition to the house being spacious enough to fit 2 families comfortably. The path to the dock is made easier by the 3 wagons in the garage. The neighbors are full time, they are lovely people, and we say hello to them each year we return. We are grateful to find something so perfect for our group.

Chris was a very responsive host who takes great pride in his property! The house is amazing and well stocked with all the comforts of home. There were four adults in our group and plenty of space to relax alone or come together as a group. The house is designed for comfort. The backyard is where we spent our evenings sitting around the fire pit. The location was ideal for our stay and a quick drive to McCall or Cascade. I would definitely recommend Chris’s place for your next stay in Valley County!

It was a nice house for our family gathering. We loved riding bikes to the dock. And the property manager was great to work with.

We had a nice stay with our extended family. We swam and paddle boarded at the lake and enjoyed the hammock in the yard. Great location for water play!

We’ve been celebrating our parents anniversary in Donnley for 25 years with an annual family reunion. Our parents blended our families when they married at the little Baptist church in Donnley 38 years ago. This year was extra special as our mom passed in February 2021. We had a very special reunion as we gathered together to share our memories and continue our family tradition. Thank you for hosting. We had a wonderful time.

This was an amazing getaway, perfect home for our family of 10. Kid friendly and adult satisfaction. Plenty of space for all. The beach was perfect for a family day. The home has so many amenities to help with the perfect stay. Very welcoming and the host is so respectable and very attentive to you as they welcome you into their beautiful house. Will rent again.

Even with the smoke filled skies it was a wonderful week at the lake. The cabin was beautiful and clean with plenty of room for the 9 of us to spread out. Having our own boat slip was incredibly convenient! I only have 2 complaints; 1) There is no air conditioner. It was unusually hot this summer with highs in the low to mid 90s F. They had plenty of fans to keep the heat bearable and I'm sure they would be more than adequate with normal temperatures. The upside was that we were more likely to spend our time on the boat or on the private beach. (Seriously! There was only one other family on a 300+ foot beach for an entire week!) 2) There were not enough cleaning supplies. This might sound like an inconsequential problem but we would have liked to clean up more. Both during the week and before we left. With those being the worst of our problems, we will most likely return to this beautiful cabin near the beach.

Chris was very responsive to our text messages before, during and after our stay and was very concerned about our comfort and enjoyment of the property. Since the home does not have AC, we would definitely return to this beautiful home, but probably only during the cooler seasons.

The nearby dock is fantastic! The host was super nice and was willing to accommodate us and our dates when the lake was frozen over. This house is very functional and great for a family getaway!

Enjoyed our stay with our family. Nice floor plan layout to give people their own space. Close to Tamarack for 2 days of skiing. Large smart TV was also nice for watching some movies.
