Our hotel overbooked and didn't have rooms for us and we were able to secure this location last minute for the team. The hosts were super easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks Anne!

Large group stayed for Big Ten Tournament. Easily managed 14 people without feeling cramped. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, easily walkable to downtown entertaiment, including Gainbridge.

Annette made check in easy and place was awesome!

This house was a fun, clean and great property adjacent to the main house. It was the perfect set up for our group. Well stocked kitchen, clean and updated. Communication was easy with the host and we didn’t have any problems!

Went to Big Ten Championship game, we had a group of 8. Great location within walking distance of everything.

We had 7 people at the carriage house and it was spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay!!

Sadly, we arrived at the house to find the property and the adjacent home in dilapidated condition on the outside and the grounds overgrown. Inside we were met with a face full of cobwebs in one of the rooms. This property is adjacent to an empty series of parking lots in a deserted area. Very concerned for our safety and upset about the derelict condition, we immediately canceled. We were forced to scramble to find other accommodations. The host was available via email and polite and cooperative at all times.

Attended an event at Lucas Oil Stadium - the location of the Cottage House was a perfect fit. The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is an oasis in the big city. If our travels bring us to Indy - we will reserve again.

After a terrible experience with our first vrbo rental that cancelled on us, we were able to reserve this property for a few days. It was a breath of fresh air! The property was clean, well cared for, in a prime location downtown within walking distance to many places, the backyard was so cute and comfortable for hanging out in the evenings-complete with a cornhole game and lounging chairs and a great grill for bbq’ing. Most of all, the owner was VERY responsive immediately to our questions and was very helpful and accommodating. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to hear back from her which was very appreciated. The property has three full bathrooms which was nice for getting ready in the early morning hours with a larger party. The bedrooms were very nice. My only suggestion would be to keep the thermostat setting lower on hot days. The upstairs got pretty hot on a 95 degree day because the a/c wasn’t set real low when we got there. But by day two it had cooled down upstairs with the help of a provided large fan and it was more comfortable to sleep up there the next night. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Came to town for a convention. Couldnt have chosen a better spot. Close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and their communication was awesome. Would not hesitate to fo it again.

My family and I stayed at this home during the weekend for my son's graduation from Indiana University. We had other family in nearby hotels and the home became our gathering spot. It has character and warmth. I would highly recommend it. The owners were professional and accommodating.

We stayed in the Carriage House this week while attending the National Recreation and Parks Association Conference. The house is within a short walk to the Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, the BankLIfe Field House and everything else downtown has to offer. This is neat little house and has "top notch" furnishings throughout. The owner and manager have apparently taken the time to make sure you are comfortable while staying there. I have to also compliment the owner and Annette for being so helpful in the reservation process and going out of their way to help when we accidentally left something in the house and didn't realize it until we got back home to Arkansas. To sum it up......Super nice people, super nice house, great location, extremely clean. Made for a great stay in Indianapolis.

9 golfers, rented the main and carriage houses. Great location for downtown access, Shaprio’s Is a must deli visit, just a block away. No complaints, would rent again if staying in the area in the future.

I have a home on home Away so when I rent my home out this time I decided to stay in Indianapolis and found this lovely gem. I wanted to live there. I brought my 3 sons with me to explore our city and we had a blast. There is so much to do in our own hometown. Can’t wait to come back!!!!!

This is the second time we stayed at this property. The other time was in the "big house". Both visits the homes were clean and the staff over-accommodating. We loved the location too. Looking forward to our next visit at this property.

Stayed for a weekend and the place was very nice. Everything was exactly as they said it would be. Will definitely consider staying again during my next trip to Indianapolis. The house was very nice and well kept. Even better location to everything downtown.

Great staff to go along with a great property. They promptly took care of an unforeseen issue at check-in and made sure we had a great stay. Very clean and newly remodeled.

The Carriage House was very clean with up to date facilities, and equipped with all of the amenities needed for a four day stay (kitchen/bathroom supplies). Nice outdoor area and good parking. We never needed to contact the property mangers for any issues, but his information was readily available. We had family members staying in the Big House who noted a lot of noise from the tenants in the Penthouse, however even though the Carriage House is steps away, we did not hear a peep. One issue is that the upstairs can get quite hot (quite a temperature difference from the first floor), but is manageable if you remember to leave the ceiling fans on full speed and turn the air conditioning low downstairs. Additional floor fans would have been helpful. Offering of a baby crib or pack and play on the website would be a nice idea as well. I did not ask, so this may already be available.

We stayed at the Main House and Carriage House in June and a wonderful time!! With 11 family members (plus visiting family), we were able to enjoy time together in the many communal spaces (2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, game room, dining room, outside gardens and fire pit) The weather was unseasonably cool the first part of the week, so the fire pit was a big hit. And as the weather warmed up, the family began afternoon cornhole competitions - fun for all ages. The kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparations. And there are good restaurants within walking distance. Also within walking distance: Lucas Oil Stadium. This is the perfect location if you are attending an event there or anywhere downtown (we had an easy drive to the IU Natatorium each day). Finally, Jerry and Annette could not have been more gracious and helpful - it was a fun and memorable visit to Indy!!

We rented this home for our trip of 10 men to attend a conference at the convention center. Everyone loved the home and its close proximity to our event. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and close to everything! The amenities of the home were superb. They had pretty much thought of everything. We especially enjoyed our time hanging out by the fire pit each night. Alex and Annette were very helpful throughout our stay. We'll definitely be coming back again.

Not a great place, but not awful by any means. We only heard two gunshots during our stay.

Arrived to the Carriage House late at night. We were skeptical about the location of the home and if our vehicle was going to be safe. During each day of our 3 day stay our concerns melted away. We walked or took an Uber during our stay. We had 6 guest staying, but 4 would be more comfortable as there are only 2 bedrooms. The third couple ended up staying on a blowup bed in the living room which took up a great deal of seating space. Overall, the house is delightful and well equipped with all amenities. I would recommend this house to anyone attending a game at Lucas Oil Stadium. We were able to walk to the stadium while watching cars sitting in a traffic jam coming and leaving the game. We were disappointed after leaving a message for Alex, property manager that he never returned our call. We managed to work out our concern.

I rented the Carriage House as a "bridal suite" for the weekend of my wedding. The house was clean and the neighborhood is quiet. The only downside to our stay was the second floor of the house is extremely hot and was hard to cool in the summer heat, even with the fans that were provided. Otherwise the Carriage House was the perfect rental for my bridal party; I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fuss-free downtown stay.
