Wonderful property and will absolutely recommend this site to others. Only complaint was that the fountain and waterfall were not operational during our stay. Property owner very kindly explained that parts for repairs were on order.

The guest house had everything we needed for our long weekend. I would recommend for anyone looking for accommodations that are “outside of the box”.

The stay at Bali House was excellent. I highly recommend this beautiful home in the city that is a hidden gem and seems like you are completely secluded but within 15 minutes of everything.

Unwinding was easy to do in this magical place! It is beautifully set in lush gardens with a Koi filled pond to entertain you. Every touch and adornment is perfect - you truly feel transported to a most charming and relaxing place. We were reluctant to leave.

This property is one of the nicest I’ve been to with it’s beautiful Bali inspired gardens, Koi pond, artwork, interior and porch. All was extremely Zen and completely relaxing. Steam shower was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this for anyone.

The Bali House transports one to the magical island of Bali. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a tropical, Southeast Asian style. The garden is a masterpiece blending tropical plants with wonderful rock arrangements and ornamental statuary, centered by a lovely koi pool. Waking up in bed in the morning one looks out on the garden and pool, immediately putting one in a great mood for the day. The perfect place for an escapist holiday.

Interestingly the online pics don't truly represent this property. This is not only an ideal destination, it's the total vibe. Zen-like is an understatement. It is clear that there was a lot of thought, time and money put into making this property completely unique-so much so that your forget you're in Wilmington. It's just a wonderful, relaxed Asian feel. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or maybe you just need some time to reflect and mediate, this is your spot. I've truly never been to a VRBO like this one. The property is situated in an excellent part of Wilmington. Close to the beach, not far from downtown. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. This is a lot coming from me as I'm not easily impressed.

This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed. My husband and I really enjoyed everything about it. It was so serene and peaceful. Everything was so beautiful. It was so hard to leave that we booked it for our next anniversary!

We enjoyed this property immensely. The owners have thought of so much to enhance your stay, however, it's truly the patio and seclusion that won us over. It is quiet here, I mean almost deathly quiet and serene. We slept some morning much longer than expected because you can. The furnishings are fun and comfortable and feeding the fish was a favorite pastime for my wife. The house is a bit difficult to find if you arrive at night so be careful. It is down a narrow lane. We only had a single problem. The shower is amazing, with multiple jets and great water pressure, but it did not drain properly and therefore could only be used for a few minutes. We contacted the property manager on our first day but never got a reply. We were somewhat disappointed but not so much that we won't be back. Highly recommended property due to the overall nature of the place and its location to everything in Wilmington.

What an amazing property. We had a great time staying at the Bali House and very much so enjoyed the beautiful koi pond. Everything was just as we expected if not better. If we ever find ourselves back in Wilmington, we will for sure stay here again.

The property was well kept and very much the description as presented. It was like being in another place. Maybe some new patio furniture, lighting in the pond and cleaning the spider webs off the outside porch would make this a strong 5 star. The attention to detail was awesome. Overall it was very good and is in a nice residential area close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Also only 3 miles from Wrightsville beach. I would certainly recommend the property.

Our stay at the Bali House was relaxing and rejuvenating. It's a lush, green oasis close to the beach and restaurants and shops of Wrightsville. We want to return.

The Bali House was the perfect vacation stay. It is beautiful and has so much attention to detail. You can’t help but to get lost in the nature! Will be back for sure.

The shortest route we can find to the South Pacific. The only 'con' is that the kitchenette is very small, no oven, two burners, tiny but deep sink and scarce counter space. Nonetheless, the 'pros' vastly outweigh any deficiency. The photos do not portray the beauty of the place nor do the descriptions describe how calming the running water streams feeding the Koi pond surrounded by a verdant lushness, the bullfrogs, and the serenity of various statues will give to you. We plan to return in the future and recommend this listing whole heartedly.

This property is an absolute hidden gem. We enjoyed the solitude and tranquility of the gardens, and the shower was an added bonus. Hope to be back many. many times in the future!

We've been visiting family in NC for years and always stayed in hotels..what a delightful change! Our stay at Bali House was wonderful. The house itself is roomy and well appointed, and the outdoor covered porch overlooking the gardens and the koi pond is fabulous for morning coffee and late night relaxing. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely stay there again. A heartfelt thank you to our gracious hosts!

When we booked this property last March, we were intrigued by the tranquil layout and inviting ambience. This was before I had ruptured my left anterior tibialis tendon which limited my mobility. To be there for 6 six days, this past week was the perfect soul salve we needed following a hectic previous few weeks.

Such a beautiful, relaxing setting.

Have looked at this property for years and finally booked a weekend stay. Couldn't have been more pleased with every feature. The attention to detail in everything, decor, furnishings, landscaping and amenities create the ultimate in private, luxurious relaxation. We definitely plan to return!

Fantastic Wilmington gem! Grounds are beautiful and inspiring. All the necessary confronts of home including a shower much fancier than my own. 😄. Couldn’t figure out the DVD player to watch a movie but other cable or streaming options worked just fine. Appreciated the Alexa for music and info.
