Our stay was great! Cozy cabin, clear lake for swimming, loved kayaking and swimming off the pontoon. The home is situated between Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. We loved our outdoor adventures and the cabin was great for our indoor rainy days too!

This cabin was better than I anticipated. Sometimes I worry lakehouses will be gross and not taken care of, but everything here was in perfect shape and made us feel right at home. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 adults and 1 baby. We loved that they had everything we need, from life jackets, to a girdle. There was a pack-and-play already there but I didn't realize it and we brought our own. If I was to improve one thing it would be to have lawn chairs that we could bring to the beach. The hosts were very nice and had lots of instructions as well as recommendations for things to do. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful house and property on a very quiet and calm lake. This property had everything needed for a perfect family summer vacation and we will definitely be booking this house again.

We took our kids and grandkids on a family trip, the cabin was a perfect get away. The playground, pontoon and swim mat were a huge hit and set this cabin apart. Traverse City and the Sand Dunes are nearby, but the young kids had the most fun just staying at the cabin.

We stayed for easter weekend and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. Weather was cool but the light snowflakes falling on the lake was a beautiful view from the balcony. Our pup fell in love with running back and forth down the path to the lake. And the home was incredibly cute (quote from my wife) inside and out. Finally, thank you Lizzie for the excellent communication. We can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer

Came up to celebrate my birthday in TC and really enjoyed myself! Super quiet, less than 20 minutes from downtown, beautiful house, scenic property. Adding this to our vacation rotation as we’ll for sure be back!! Thanks so much, Lizzie!!!

Our family stayed the week before Christmas! The rental was just as advertised and we had a great time.

Cabin was perfect for a girls weekend getaway!

The house was as described. Good communication regarding check-in, as well as notes around the home explaining little items. The home was all we had hoped for; clean, comfortable, and good working order. Kids loved the downstairs pool room, video games, and bunk beds. The location was just far enough from traffic and crowds, yet close enough for a 10-15 drive to get anything that was needed. We would recommend this cabin for a nice enjoyable getaway.

Very clean, private location. Dirt road leading to the house with beautiful trees all around. Neighbor to the left but didn’t see anyone else really out much. Quiet small lake- perfect for kayaks and fishing. Free boat was a nice added touch but as mentioned it’s a “free” boat so don’t expect much. It was perfect for the grandparents for fishing. There were 10 of us(6 adults and 4 teens). It was a little tight but we made it work. Futon in lower level was decent for a week’s long sleep and my husband brought an air mattress for the floor. The other futon is on the main level and that would have been very tight to use with the 10 of us on different sleep schedules. Totally doable. Well water so bring plenty of bottle water and just be aware there is a slight discoloration in the toilets because of the well water but that’s what you get being tucked in the woods. About 30-40 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes, 40 minutes to Jolly Pumpkin and wineries on the peninsula drive, 20 minutes to Traverse City and about 30 to Elk Rapids. This was a great place to unplug and connect with family and nature. We were a little concerned about no WiFi but our cell service was just fine throughout the stay!

We had a great visit at the lodge! The cabin was spacious and clean and all amenities we needed were provided. We would definitely return if we come back to the area again. Thank you for a great weekend!

We had so much fun...the cabin was clean and beautiful. Absolutely no complaints. They had some board games and nostalgic video games to relax with at night.

This place was amazing! Our family of 5, plus our close friends, stayed here for a fun winter getaway. It was such a cozy little retreat for us! The gas fireplace warmed us up after ice fishing on the lake, snowy walks, and the kids running around enjoying the snow covered woods outside. Our dogs loved just sprawling out in front of the fireplace, which kicks off a very good amount of heat. The cabin was very well stocked, warm, and has very cool floor to ceiling windows facing the lake. It was also easy to find and well marked. We will definitely come stay again! Thanks for renting out such a cool place.

Beautiful home tucked away in the woods. Spent the long weekend with friends and enjoyed being snowed in all weekend. Perfect spot to feel like you are far away from the city. Nice house. Clean. Easy to find. Only con, there is a house very close to your left looking out to the lake. Not a deal breaker but not should be added in one of the pictures for full transparency.

We had SUCH a good time this weekend at your cabin! The view was our favorite! & the kids loved the game room down stairs. We are already looking to come back this summer and make this a yearly tradition. We had so much fun. This was our first time in Traverse City and we all loved our time. We had a great stay and the house had everything we needed. Great communication from the owner and great spaces for our kids. Super comfortable beds! We enjoyed hiking nearby Alligator Hill and Lake Ann Trail.

Amazing time. Our small children enjoyed the boat, small train from house to lake, walking on the roads (pine cone hunting!) and they're still talking about the loons. The home is adorable and comfortable. We enjoyed evenings on the deck or near the fire pit catching up and one night heard so many amazing animals. 7 a.m. kayak rides were a terrific way to start the day. Already booked for next year. Hosts were very quick to communicate and very hospitable.

Had a relaxing time with family. Everything we needed was provided. Would suggest more comfortable living room furniture.

Close to Traverse City but feels like you are tucked away somewhere in the UP. So peaceful and quite, the beds were so comfortable I couldn’t get out of bed lol! Best sleep I have had in a long time. Home was well maintained, clean , warm and inviting. Highly recommended!

Cozy stay at the Cedar Lake Lodge! Arriving to the home tucked back in the woods with the towering snow covered trees, and the lighted Christmas tree made it like a Christmas card. Way cooler than we expected! It was just the two of us so the home had way more than enough space. Seemed like there was plenty to do in the home especially down in the game room. We didn’t get to use it though as we just stayed up stairs and got plenty of use from the cozy gas log stove. Lake Ann was a cute little village just a few minutes away with a nice little restaurant and brewery. Traverse City wasn’t far either maybe 15, 20 minutes away. Great location, nice quiet surrounding area great for peaceful evening walks. Home was super clean, bed was comfy, we will be back!

We rented this house for a birthday weekend for my husband. Having this much space allowed our entire family to gather together, including all of our grown children. The house was very clean and comfortable. One word of warning though, the bunk beds were not comfortable at all! Memory foam toppers for the bunk beds would make a world of difference. Unfortunately, it was wet and cold that weekend when we were there, so we were unable to fully enjoy the lake and boats that were available. A huge bonus if it were a nice weekend.
