We had such a great stay at this location. The house was a great size, very clean with great amenities, etc. The view was breathtaking. We had a great time relaxing on the large porch and grilling out. It's a pretty long and steep climb up to get to the house so prepare for that...but the views are definitely worth it! We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful view from the deck. Got to see an amazing sunrise. We were a group of 11 and had amble room to spread out if needed. One compla was the cookware. I normally take my own skillet but forgot to pack them. Maybe look into new ones, no other complaints. Had a great stay

Had a great in Maggie Valley for a bachelor weekend. The house and view exceeded our expectations. Had a great time golfing, grilling, and gambling. Would definitely recommend!

My friends and I had a great stay at this property. It was exactly if not better than the pictures showed. The view from the back porch was breathtaking. Also, communication with the owners was excellent and they responded quickly. I would say bringing a vehicle with four-wheel drive would be recommended especially if there is snow because the drive up to the property is steep and windey.

Turkeys and a bear spotted by relatives on the way to the house - fabulous long view from the deck and living room - house is comfortable, well stocked with kitchen essentials and bathroom towels - quiet - good fireplace - beautiful woods surrounding the house - bedrooms on three levels so guests can spread out - lovely place to rest and relax.

Our family was very underwhelmed by the stay. House was dirty, our 9 month old had hair and dirt on his hands from crawling inside the house. Sure we were a 24 hour notice stay, but the house should be clean, no exceptions. We checked out after 1 night because the house was not what it shows.

We gathered for a few days with our kids and grandkids. The house was spacious and the deck provided lovely views - we spent most of our time out there.
The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, glassware and cookware.
I was concerned about no air conditioning because the forecast temps were quite warm, but with cross breezes and ceiling fans, we were comfortable.
The owner responded quickly to all communications and was easy to work with.
The day we arrived the road up the mountain was being resurfaced, and there was loose gravel which got caught in the brakes of a couple of our cars, but that was probably a "one off." Be aware that you'll have to take all your trash down the mountain when you leave, so allow extra space in your car for that!
Overall, we had a great time, and had nightly sitings of a flying squirrel, daily hummingbird entertainment and saw a black bear one morning!

We absolutely had the best time. The view from the deck was the best view around. You could watch the sunrise, the clouds move across the mountains, and the lights from town at night. The property was spacious and gave everyone plenty of space. We loved the kitchen and table for games and dining. The location was perfect for everything we did . Lots of waterfalls and sight seeing close by. We did have to take the garbage to the collection site was several miles away. I did not pay attention to the times and had to find an alternative location to deposit my trash, as all of the collection sites were closed on Sunday. I would definitely recommend looking that up a prior to driving around with trash in your car . 😉

Incredible views! Great house with lots of room for our large extended family. Everything we needed! If I had to complain, there is no AC, but we were there the hottest time of year, which wouldn't be an issue at other times of year because it is much cooler at that elevation.

On the top of the mountain is where this house is located and the views are terrific. The drive up is a long winding road, which takes a good 20 min in and out of town. We saw deer, and turkeys mere feet away. Nicely decorated and clean, washer and dryer in home, along with plenty of games and entertainment. Gas grill on deck worked but it needs an upgrade. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful setting high in the mountains. Three level home is perfect for extended family. Everything is available for cooking and relaxing. Sunsets and stars are amazing. Enjoyed visiting SOCO Falls, Waynesville, and Bryson City for the Polar Express Smokey Mountain Railroad.

The house was beautiful! The rooms were large and we had ample room to all gather together for meals, and all sitting together in the living room. The views were awesome! There were days when we were sitting above the clouds, so cool. Our hosts were accessible and answered all questions. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

This house is on top of the mountain and so pretty. It was very clean and spacious and everyone enjoyed the stay. It was a great family vacation. We were close to so many places and just enjoyed doing different things everyday.

Great family vacation home
We enjoyed our week long vacation in Maggie Valley at this beautiful house.
This house is plenty big enough to host a large family. There is plenty of room to move around as well as come together for dinner or a fun card or board game.
Although there is no AC in the house, open windows and fans were helpful to keep the house cool. I do suggest bringing an extra fan if you tend to get hot and have room to bring it. We brought ours and were comfortable with those. The back porch on the main level is very nice and open as well as adequately covered, so you could spend the day on the porch and not inside where it may be a little warmer.

We had a full house and it was everything we could have hoped for. Centrally located to everything and the view is perfection. Homeowners were great with communication before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend!

Explore the mountain life and stunningly beautiful golf
I am convinced that to have lived a full life, you have to stay in a lovely home like this, way up on the mountain, and enjoy the view, experience the drive (adventurers will like this), and play golf at Maggie Valley. The scenery is just incredible, the house was great. We spent a lot of time on the deck, and enjoyed a bbq dinner together (7 ladies on a golf trip) at the big dining table. The weather was perfect. We played 18 holes two flawless days. What a trip. Very kind, accommodating owners.

Smokey Mountain Family Getaway
We absolutely had a fantastic time staying at this VRBO property. We had full capacity of 12 family members all adults and 1 baby. The home absolutely met all of our needs. Everyone had enough private space as well as get together space. The view was stunning of the mountains at 5100 ft. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck enjoying the view and grilling out. We would return as guests again. Note: The owners of the home we absolutely gracious and pleasant to work with.

The views were amazing! Pictures don't do it justice. The house was clean and big enough for adults and children to enjoy. The drive to the house was a bit intimidating as we are Florida and not use to that kind of steep incline, but it is not difficult. Would stay here again.

This was the perfect place. Lovely home well equipped. Setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There was plenty to do but I think the grandkids and (40+ year olds ) liked the tubing down the snow covered slopes the best.

Owner was a delight to work with. We have been going up to the North Carolina mountains for over 30 years and this property by far had the most stunning views. Each morning we got to see spectacular sunrises. Highly recommend this property.

Family get together
Great place to stay with 4 brothers and wives for family get together . Plenty space for everyone with 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 half , full kitchen upstairs and smaller kitchen downstairs,and outstanding views. Owners Michael and Donna communicated regularly by text . They were extremely approachable and very kind people. Convenient location to many activities in the area. Beautiful views due to its high location but be prepared for steep drive down. Put car in low gear and don’t ride the brakes . Brake fluid can boil and can loose braking system.

Amazing Views
This house has everything and more than you might need. Views off deck are unbeatable. Neighborhood is quiet, neighbors far enough away we weren’t bothered and didn’t bother them! 5 adults and one 34 month old. Plenty of room, lots of areas to relax. No AC but in late May/early June the ceiling fans provided plenty of cool air especially because the windows could be open all day and night. Loved it.

Amazing Place!!
We had a wonderful experience staying in this cabin. The view is stunning. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Couldn't have chosen better. Home was very clean in and out.. All beds very comfortable, enough bathrooms. Great natural light. The area is really nice. We were a family of 7 and there was enough space for everyone. The owner was very prompt in communications. We are very thankful! Looking forward to be back!!

This property had everything you needed to just relax and enjoy time with friends. I will say the first time riding up the mountain was scary but after the first time it was great. Will definitely stay again. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive.
