We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was comfortable, well appointed, and very clean. The location was good, and it was in a very nice little neighborhood. We felt very safe. Justin was an ideal host, answering all my questions and taking care of the one thing that was important to me, which was cleaning the grill. Lo and behold I left my suitcase behind, and Justin shipped it to me, bless his little heart. Thank you, Jason.

We stayed at this residence for two weeks while my wife had cosmetic surgery in June 2023. This place was wonderful and very cozy. It’s situated less than 2 miles away from Delray Beach which has some of the most beautiful water I’ve seen. It’s also not far from Atlantic Ave which has a lot of nice shops and great restaurants. About a block away is a bakery called Maison Bouchard and that place is definitely worth the short walk. Absolutely delicious pastries (the coconut croissant was my favorite) and the owner Alain along with his front attendant Sara are an absolute delight to talk to. The only minor downside would be that the home needed a few darker curtains to block out some of the morning sunlight on the second floor but overall I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. Really well equipped everything you needed in kitchen bathrooms etc. very clean and very comfortable beds and sofas. We had 4 adults and cooked most nights. In addition it has a lovely back deck with bbq

Still walking distance to the beach, And nice restaurants all within a block

My wife and I decided to stay the thanksgiving weekend in the area to have more time with family and friends. Justin secured our last-minute booking and answered us within a reasonable time. The home was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach and entertainment district was more distance than we hoped for considering we had our senior labrador retriever with us but overall the location met our expectations. Coffee and pastries at the French bistro on 6th Ave, a short walk, made up for it. Overall, a nice stay and visit.

Clean and easy process, stayed here for almost a month and it had everything I needed

The house was the perfect set-up for the 4 of us and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked, the living and dining spaces were cozy & comfy. It's VERY close to the water, several restaurants, and grocery stores. We even extended our stay 1 more night. I only wish we could've used the lovely back patio. Unfortunately it was 95-100 every day and just too hot to sit outside. As great of a host as Justin is, even he can't control the weather in South Florida. We would absolute rent from Justin again. He was quick to respond to our questions, check-in was SUPER easy.

My family of 4 stayed for 6 days. Everything was absolutely perfect. I am the kind of traveler who beings her own sheets and disinfectant, but this property was spotless. Incredibly clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with flatware, far more than just essentials. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, the linens were luxurious and cozy. There was plenty of closet space in both bedrooms for both our suitcases and for us to hang our clothes. The bathrooms were spotless and spacious enough for two adults to be getting ready at the same time, showers had great water pressure and enough hot water for all 4 of us to shower without someone having to take a cold shower. The location was great as we close to plenty of restaurants and amenities, but still had enough privacy to enjoy the deck in our jammies in the evenings. We would absolutely stay again given the chance.

Close to beach, grocery, CVS, gas station., Plenty of sheets and towels and kitchen utensils. Clean. Would go back.

I would love to write a review of this property but I didn’t get the chance to stay due to a family emergency. Justin was extremely helpful and understanding. I hope to visit in the future

We enjoyed our stay. Cottage was clean. The main concern I had was the home is described as sleeps six with two double beds in the 2nd bedroom. These were actually twins, so our two granddaughters had to sleep on the couches downstairs. It was not a major issue to us but could be if there were six adults planning to stay.

This property was clean, convenient to stores/beach/restaurants and the check-in/check-out process was very easy. The neighborhood was very nice and easy to walk. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Perfect location for four months while we waited on construction of our new home. The stay allowed us to enjoy downtown Delray shops and restaurants because the cottage is less than a mile from Atlantic Ave and A1A. Sunshine Cottage will be missed.

Me and my friends wanted one last trip before we went back to school. This was the perfect experience, we loved the area, and had a lot of fun.

I recommend renting bikes during your stay--atlantic avenue and the public beach were both about 5 minutes away on bike, but more like 20 minutes by foot. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and there are several mango trees in the neighborhood for a free breakfast!! ;) we really enjoyed our stay

Justin was such a great communicator throughout the process of renting. The place was extremely clean, the kitchen was so well stocked with all the tools you need for cooking (most well stocked kitchen. I have ever seen at a VRBO) and the space was perfect for us 4 adults! The backyard deck is perfect for winding down after a day at the beach. The location was perfect and close to restaurants and shops! Thanks for making our stay incredibly relaxing!

When you book a stay online, you always hold your breath for a minute as you approach the property. As you near the home, you evaluate the neighborhood, the exterior of the home, and then finally the interior. We were more than pleased with everything about this VRBO rental! Thank you for a great stay! We made the best memories in your home!

We had an amazing time at Justin's place. The location was perfect. My son and his friend would walk every morning to the beach. Delray Beach outshines all other beaches. Justin's place was very well equipped. His response to any questions was very prompt and helpful.

Although we had a little snaffu our first night, Justin was super responsive and made everything right. Perfect little place to stay and would absolutely stay there again.

This property is just as it is advertised. Very clean and very comfortable.

The inside of the property had everything we needed. Justin, the owner, even shipped us toilet paper because it was in short supply. Unfortunately, we arrived just as the virus caused everything to shut down so we were happy that we were all set in the sunshine cottage. One downside is the deck and deck furniture are in bad shape.

We had a great month in Delray Beach! Our cottage was very clean and the owner was super responsive to all our questions and concerns. The cottage is close to the beach (.5 mile) and 1 mile from Atlantic Avenue where there are an incredible number of terrific restaurants. Publix, CVS, and Walgreens are around the corner. The village is very walkable from the cottage and the Downtowner will be returning. The Downtowner is a free ride service that will pick you up and take you wherever you want to go in a golf cart saving you from taking your car anywhere. We are looking forward to returning to the Sunshine Cottage next year!

My husband and I stayed in this duplex for a month last year and again this year (2019) from Jan. 20-Feb. 19. We would never have rented twice if we hadn't really enjoyed the house, the neighborhood and felt it was reasonably priced. It's located on a quiet neighborhood steet, but walking distance to a variety of stores and roughly a mile to the beach and Atlantic Blvd. a very happening area filled with great restaurants, stores, & interesting crowds, especially on weekends. The duplex itself is lovely, and while the first year I was concerned about sharing a wall, noise was never an issue at all. The parking is extremely convenient, just in front of the house. The two-story house is very clean, well-equipped with nice appliances, and has fairly large rooms, with lots of light and good-sized windows. There is a small screened in porch, but a large outdoor deck that is a lovely, private area to sit and eat or relax. There's also a rather small yard. There is a master bedroom and a second bedroom, each with good closet space and a nice bathroom. The photos on the website are very true to what the house is like. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook and has a nice seating area, although it could use a teapot and a few more mugs. The refrigerator is fairly large. There are newer flat-screen televisions in the living room and each bedroom. Just before our visit this year, we learned that there was a new owner (Justine Paulhamas) taking over the day after we moved in. We were rather hesitant because he was new to VRBO and we had no info about him. We emailed him and he responded immediately, reassuring us that the transition would be smooth and he was anxious for us to enjoy our stay. As it turned out, while he doesn't live nearby, he was extremely helpful and responsive. Initially, there were problems with the switch of the cable TV system to the new owner, & several things needed attention (a sluggish toilet, a couple of burnt out bulbs, and a broken vertical shade), but Justine had very competent people who took care of everything quickly. He always checked back with us to be sure that things were done properly. After the first few days, everything was taken care of and I don't think anyone could have been more responsive or pleasanter to deal with. We are not coming back in 2020 because we will be traveling elsewhere, but we wouldn't hesitate to come back to this lovely, sunny duplex.
