Hemlock Hideaway Cabin Review. Beautiful cabin. Great lay out for multiple families. Not to big, not to small. Very homey! WiFi worked well for multiple devices. Issues we had: 1. Communication with Blue Ridge Rentals, the property management company. Fireplace stopped working after first time. Never resolved issue. 2. Trash cans were already full when we arrived so we had to keep the garbage inside. 3. They never responded to my messages about this. When I called they still never resolved the issues. 4. Never called back to handle a snow situation we were having. 5. Hot Water is not adequate for the amount of people who stay in the house. Can’t take two showers at once. Loud washing machine. What we loved. The layout was perfect and practical. Nice space to work in the kitchen, had a most of what you needed in the kitchen. The loft has such a comfortable couch for relaxing. It’s not a pull out bed. Lots of toys for kids, doll house, Lincoln logs, trains, games for all ages, books galore. Hot tub was fantastic but make sure you test the water before you do their recommended added chlorine. Comfy beds. Loved the light switch labels. I like details so I am giving an extended review for others but we truly enjoyed our stay. I just wish the communication was better with the management company. They did provide a lot of details in the book but they didn’t follow through on any communication I did whether it was message or phone calls.

Management company was very responsive and helpful, property was in great location and equipped with everything needed and even extras! (Toys for kids) Our two families had a great mountain retreat experience!

The cabin had everything needed and was very clean. Was there for my daughters 14 birthday. Had plenty of room! Lots of games and Hottub a plus! We really enjoyed our stay!

This was our second time staying here, and it truly feels like HOME!!! We love absolutely everything about this location, and our son LOVES the toys! :). The peace and quiet, fire pit, cozy home, and perfect location can’t be beat! We will for sure be back next year. Thank you for another amazing experience!!!

Loved all the knotty pine all over the house. Comfortable beds and convenient to Boone but quiet and secluded feel.

Our family weekend included 2 of my grown sons, a daughter-in-law, 2 granddaughters (2 1/2 and 5 years) and the two of us. The house was fantastic. Everything we needed. The house is set apart from the neighboring houses enough that we felt like we were out on our own! The fire pit is perfect. We had such a great weekend. Can't wait to come back. This is a property we will come back to. The property managers responded quickly to questions we had. Awesome experience!!

We survived 2 1/2 days of torrential downpour in this awesome cabin. Who schedules a tropical storm in August? Everyone loved the cabin...my twin 9-year daughters are saving up to buy it...don't want to stay anywhere else. Very cozy feel to it, very private, nice neighborhood and perfectly located to get anywhere in a short amount of time...just bring your dramamine if you aren't familiar with mountain roads.

Cabin was just as described. Very clean and plenty of room for 7 of us. Really enjoyed the fire pit area and the hot tub. Would definitely stay again, it was great.

Hemlock Hideaway’s inviting location is perfect for time in nature, access to the Blue Ridge, shopping and dining in Boone and Blowing Rick. The home’s interior was so inviting with every aspect of comfort available. We enjoyed time in the hot tub snd added entertainment with bird feeders and seed. The hosts are avid readers with an extensive library to use. We will return soon.

Tucked away and close enough to everything. Quiet, loved the fire pit and hot tub! Management was responsive and check in and out were easy.

We were so pleased. Check-in very easy with great communication. Location fantastic - secluded yet close to town for supplies. Saw a heard of deer in the back yard. Most comfortable bed I think we've ever slept in. Would definitely (and plan on) staying here again. Truly fantastic.

We decided to rent a house in the NC mountains for Thanksgiving and chose Hemlock Hideaway after much hunting online. The house was more beautiful than the description online and couldn't have been more perfect for the older folks as well as the two little boys aged 5 and 3. The firepit was a perfect place to hangout and be together while the little guys explored the lot to find hiding spots and special part of nature. The owners had provided soap, paper products, unbelievably comfortable beds and throws - everything even down to coffee filters . It was truly an unexpected surprise and will be hard to beat this adventure to any part of the mountains! Many thanks for a terrific stay!

House was amazing. very clean. Had everything we need in the kitchen and bedrooms. Even had toys for younger children. Would recommend and will more than likely stay here again next year.

This house was spotless in a private location but convenient to shopping/Main roads. The hot tub was super clean and a great way to end a busy day. This house has everything needed to feel at home! We hope to stay here again!

We had 4 college girls, 3 moms and 1 grandmother. The property was perfect for the 8 of us. We took advantage of the amenities including the hot tub and the fire pit. The location was convenient to our destinations around Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. We all agreed that we would want to stay there again.

Loved this property! Anyone with small children, look no further. The room with the bunk beds downstairs had toys and children’s books that our children (boy and girl) loved. It kept them busy for hours when we would’ve otherwise not had much for them to do inside. The cabin had everything you could possibly need (even a baby gate for stairs) and was very cozy and comfortable. The yard was also a huge plus as it allowed for lots of room for them to run around while my husband and I could sit and watch from the back deck. Also, the proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock cannot be beat. Look no further, book Hemlock Hideaway!

This was our first time renting with vrbo, and it was so easy! We’ll definitely use it for future travel. The cabin was a beautiful property, well cared for, and accurately depicted. Our boys are eager to go back. It was great, quick get-away.

The property was awesome. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our extended family, the house was super clean, very easy to find, the kitchen was pretty well stocked with items the average family would need, instructions for everything in the home were pretty easy to find and use, everything, including the hot tub, seemed to work as described. We did find that some of the check-in info. given to us was outdated (I pointed this out to the prop mngt co) - but it was very complete and covered all details I would have expected and them some. Will consider staying here again.
