We had made reservations to take the shuttle from town and bike on two days. Turns out we were an easy ride to town and back. On the ride home, we picked up a steak and fresh asparagus, a bottle of wine and enjoyed a lovely outdoor patio dinner, made on the nice new grill. All the details in this property are beyond all the VRBOs we’ve visited, down to the nightlight and the comfy bed. Dee even left out snacks for us to nibble. Thanks Dee. You’re a wonderful host!

Dee thought of everything! The location was a short walk from Jim Thorpe, get those calves burning! Not too much to do in the immediate area of interest for us, but the accommodations were top-notch. Gorgeous inside with anything you may need at your fingertips. The host really thought of everything for you to enjoy your stay and went above and beyond when small inconveniences came our way. Communication was stellar when responding with questions or concerns. Excellent instructions and signage from beginning to end before, during, and after our stay. I love clear instructions! No guess work, just enjoy yourselves. We plan to go back in the fall!

This lovely apartment was true to traditional appointments while having all the mod cons! Spotlessly clean and comfortable. In town for a family occasion and couldn't have picked a better place. Host also very attentive and helpful.

To get to the historic side of Jim Thorpe, we parked close to the bridge (for free) and walked over. It was a nice walk.

We decided last minute to visit Jim Thorpe for a quick getaway. I contacted the host the day before and Dee's responses were quick and I was able to book seamlessly. Great location. I mile into town which would have been a pretty easy walk, but it rained and we opted to use an Uber. Vintage Revival Retreat was absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Jim Thorpe.

I came to the area for the Spartan Race at Blue Mountain. Everything was as advertised and super convenient to the mountain as well as to the downtown area.

The space was perfect for 2 and had all of the amenities you could ask for and more! So many thoughtful touches throughout the house. Dee was extremely communicative - helpful in suggesting eating places and activities and also very thorough in explaining the check in processs, parking, etc. I would definitely re-visit this site again!

We stayed here for my wife's 30th birthday trip to the Jim Thorpe area. The location is perfect for this. There was private parking on site and it was only a 10min walk right into town. Because of this you don't have to worry about trying to pay and find parking in downtown. The place was nicely furnished plus had everything needed for a longer stay with fridge and stove for cooking or heating up left overs from all the great places to eat in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

We had the tranquility apartment and it was perfectly named. Place was charming, quaint and quiet. Sat on the small deck in back each morning enjoying a hot coffee and listen to the birds. Very little neighborhood noise. The place was spotless and very well stocked on almost every essential! If you are heading to Jim Thorpe and plan on spending more than a day there, this is the place! We will be returning to the guest house for another weekend get away very soon!

Dee is a wonderful host! She was very responsive to my questions and had great suggestions. The property itself was spotless and had an old world charm. I had asked for an extra fan and she had a big floor fan placed in the bedroom! I even loved the little welcome note on the door. I will be back and so recommend this property!

Great Stay in Jim Thorpe
My husband and I spent three nights at the Guesthouse and will stay there again if we return to the area. Because he is thru-hiking the AT, we needed a washer and dryer and some outdoor space to spray his tent and clothes with bug repellent. The clothesline on the back deck was perfect. The second bathroom was a bonus. Lastly, I’m a light sleeper and appreciated how quiet the neighborhood is. The space was super clean and the bed was comfortable.

Lovely property. Location is quiet. Loved having convenient parking behind the building. Bed and linens are comfortable.
Note, this property is in the part of Jim Thorpe across the river from the train station and tourist spots. You must drive and park in town to see the sights.

Perfect Getaway
This super cozy place was very welcoming and perfect in every way ! Great location , close to bike trail , only a few minutes drive to historic Jim Thorpe, and walking distance to a local breakfast place that we frequented . The communication with the host was great and her attention to detail made the check in process super easy . She also added nice touches like handmade lavender soap , a relaxation room mist , chocolates, recommendations and a welcoming basket . Best of all , the bed linens & comforter were a high quality cotton and the place was extremely clean ! We couldn’t have been happier . We will certainly be back for another adventure .

Dee was a fantastic hostess with great communication. The property was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. It had everything you need for a long weekend away. Jim Thorpe is a cute town and the property is a short driving distance away(it was cold and rainy) from the main part of town.

Quick and easy stop for the night
Stayed here for one night on a road trip so we didn’t get to spend much time in the property or around Jim Thorpe but the check in process was very clear and easy to follow and the apartment was clean, easy to find and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Cozy retreat for two.
We were impressed with the attention to detail: they seem to have thought of everything: welcome basket with snacks, great decor, and even a little bottle of spray on the nightstand to encourage sleep. You should know that there is very little natural light. There are windows in the kitchen, but none at all in the bedroom/sitting room. A little tricky to find (pay very careful attention to the directions!) but only five minutes to downtown Jim Thorpe. We would definitely stay there again.
