We enjoyed our stay at this sweet cottage in Laguna Beach. We had everything we needed for a beach holiday: walking distance to a beach, beach towels, chairs and toys. We loved the garden and ate some of our meals outdoors. What could be better? Robert, our host, was a pleasure to deal with and always quick to respond to any questions.

We loved this home! Beds are comfortable, the gardens surrounding the home are beautiful, Robert was attentive, and the neighborhood is “chill” as my kids would say. The kitchen is fully equipped with a nice clean new fridge. The outside sitting area is lovely to enjoy coffee in the morning. The home is equipped with beach towels and chairs. We had a fantastic time and look forward to another visit!

Very nicely kept main house. We did not use the downstairs bedroom due its separation from the main. Our first night of sleep was disrupted by the sounds of a late-playing garage band on the bedrooms' side of the property. The rest of the weekend lived up to the advertised "quiet neighborhood" billing. Overall, a nice property in an area south of Laguna!

We were in the cottage for 5 nights and really enjoyed our experience. The cottage is south of town but there are beaches walking distance as long as you can handle steps as well as some good restaurant- Thai, Mexican, Carbean, Italian & a donut shop good for coffee or Pho as well as a 711. Down stairs is a little dark but our kids (21) were comfortable sleeping there. The master bedroom is a lovely, comfortable, sunny space and the other upstairs bedroom is also very nice as are the shared soace. We were traveling with my 82 year old mother who struggled with the terrain around the cottage and getting in and out of the tub/shower in her room. All things considered, we really enjoyed our stay, found the owner very easy and responsive, and would return in the future.

Cozy, relaxing, home away from home. The two beaches within walking distance from the house are beautiful and not crowded like others in Laguna Beach. Quick access to the free trolley and nice restaurants are a bonus.

Last month we enjoyed our RETURN to this delightful beach cottage in Laguna Beach. It was as warm and wonderful as I remember, decorated for Christmas, and reminiscent of the vintage 1920's but with all modern conveniences. The landlords were very accommodating and the close proximity to beach, shops and restaurants made it the perfect stay. This gem is permanently on our "TO DO AGAIN LIST!"

First impressions are often the best and this rings true with Robert's beach cottage. It's nestled in a quiet street with beautiful foliage all around. The cottage has a true California beach vibe and was exactly what my family and I were looking for. The location is walkable to some of Laguna's best beaches. This made it possible for us to spend everyday enjoy the beaches of Table Rock, West Street and 10,000 steps and never get into a car. We found the cottage to have all the amenities that we needed for our week long stay. The door stairs bedrooms with private bath were great for our teenage girls. Robert is a good communicator and helped us with a TV issue. Our 10 y/o was grateful for that and so were we! After falling in love with South Laguna and this adorable cottage, we can't wait to come back!

And there really is a view of the ocean :-) Having lived in California for several years, many years ago, "ocean view" could mean standing on a ladder on your roof to see the ocean :-) Thank you to the Hagopians for providing such a really cool place to stay while we enjoyed the beauty of Laguna Beach. It is exactly as described. Loved the quiet neighborhood and found it really easy to get around and into town - walking, trolley - I did not want to leave. Robert was quick to respond to questions and left a ton of information in the house for us regarding restaurants, beaches, etc. and all of his recommendations were "spot on". Table Rock beach - gorgeous! On our last day there, I did the 140 steps (I think it was 140) with ease :-) Thanks, again, so very, very much!

The pictures didn't all match the listing, especially the outside, and maintenance was needed upon arrival. The grill didn't work and looked to have not been cleaned in a couple years, there are no screens on any of the windows, which poses a big problem in evenings since they need to be opened with no A/C. Bugs and cats were coming in through the open windows. Workers came to clean outside area while we were there since it wasn't cleaned beforehand.

This house was perfect! It was roomy and relaxing. Very comfortable for an entire family and located in a perfect spot for walking to the beach and some great local restaurants. The outdoor seating was a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach!

My sisters and I spent a nice long weekend here (4 nights). The house had plenty of comfortable seating inside as well as outside (we enjoyed having "happy hour" on the side porch). The beds were cozy, too. I was happy we all had our own separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We didn't use the kitchen much, as there were so many restaurants we wanted to try. There were many things within walking distance (we really enjoyed eating at Eva's Caribbean right down the street) and it was nice to have a gas station on the corner too for little purchases. We explored tide pools at many different beaches--theoretically we could have done without a car, but were glad we rented one. We also checked out the nearby marine mammal rehab facility. Unfortunately the state park hiking trails were closed while we were there, due to recent bad weather. Luckily we had very nice weather during our stay. I could've used another day in the area! It was a lovely vacation. Robert was responsive and very easy to work with.

My sisters and I stayed at the cottage for my daughters wedding. It was a perfect location and well maintained. having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was the best. Decorated with beach like antiques was an added bonus. Really enjoyed our stay there.

This little house was perfect for our stay. It has everything we needed and was very comfortable, especially the beds. Great views, quiet neighborhood. You definitely feel at home with this house. We would stay here again!

This cottage in South Laguna had charm to spare, and was close to two beautiful beaches. It was just the right size and style for our family group of two adult couples and one pair of twenty-somethings, who did well in the downstairs/separate entrance part of the house. Thanks for the comfortable stay!

Wonderful small cottage with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Well equipped kitchen, small dining area with small oven. Very cute side yard with good seating area and very nice gas grill. Master is quite big with King 2nd bedroom has a queen and downstairs has twin trundle and full. The downstairs has a separate entrance and lower ceilings so better for children or adults under 6 feet. Owner is responsive and helpful and their is a good binder with beach and restaurant recommendations. The cottage is older with some nice pieces of similar vintage. Great beaches a couple blocks away.

A lovely beach cottage only a stones throw from the (free) trolley stop to downtown Laguna. The property had a really nice, homely feel to it with all the amenities. It has 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms which were perfect for my family (1 year old, husband & parents). Robert was a great host with fantastic communication. The cottage had a pack & play (travel cot), stroller & lots of children's toys. The only thing to note is that it doesn't have a highchair so worth bringing your own. The only other slight downside was that it got quite hot in the cottage, although it does have fans in all the rooms. It has a number of good restaurants (Thai, Caribbean, Italian) within easy walking distance & there is a seven11 around the corner. This is a great comfortable home & I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I spent a week in this wonderful home. We have 7 grown children - 4 of whom live in the southern California area. They were able to pop down and join us at various times and all could be accommodated comfortably. We barbecued a turkey in the wonderful garden patio area. Went out to eat at the restaurants right nearby (Thai restaurant was WONDERFUL!) and went to the beach daily. Laguna beaches are simply gorgeous! The house is comfortable and very homey. No air conditioning - so fans are needed - but the ceiling fans worked pretty well (a room fan to move the air sideways would probably be a nice addition) The beds were super comfy. Plenty of dishes etc in the kitchen. No parking at the house - but we could park easily on the street within a block - so no problems there. This was just a great homebase for a week at the beach. The home is comfortable, relaxing and walking distance to everything! We loved all our little adventures around town and them coming home and just relaxing! Kids loved the house especially the downstairs!

This is a great house with a very comfortable, quaint feel. Not too big, not too small, just right. We were in Laguna Beach for our daughter's wedding at "The Ranch". We had six adults and two children. It is located to easy access for beaches and eateries within walking distance. Great furniture, comfortable style. Owner is extremely easy to work with. We would definitely rent again!

This cottage is gorgeous. The yard was fantastic for hanging out and the breezes on the balcony were blissful. Really great place to share with friends. The third bedroom is a little out of the way. Makes a nice retreat for the introverts in your group though. We look forward to coming back here one day.

Location is the best quality!! Bars, restaurants and some of the most beautiful beaches within 10 min. Walk. Use the free trolley where stops are a few feet away. Family of eight stayed here. Unfortunately, during one of the hottest weeks in the OC. No a/c! However, it has everything else. Recommendations for upgrades - bathrooms, more lighting and ventilation in 3rd unattached bedroom. Big plus - lots to do! Great for families with various ages and very safe area.

This place is a golden. I would never choose any hotel over staying here. When traveling with kids it has everything you need ... The wii and wii games and a dvd with tons of movies you can choose from. There is a coffee machine with coffee. You can walk to 7-11 or to the beach and take a free trolley to downtown. But trust me you won't even want to leave. There is a bbq with plenty of outside seating . We will definitely be back. Robert was wonderful. The TV was on a different source so I wasn't able to get it to work and he came right over to help me. This place is a gold mine ... You won't be disappointed. I am already planning another trip .

Roberts place was great for my family. We enjoyed it very much the beach and restaurant's ware walking distance. The cottage was lovely private and comfortable all the beds were so comfortable even had toys for my grandson. I would definaty recommend this beach cottage.

We just stayed at the cottage with my family (wife & 2 year old) and my sister in law's family (husband & 3 year old). It was my first experience with VRBO and Robert was great to deal with and his house was beautiful, comfortable, in great condition and had a fabulous location. It was a 5 minute walk to Table Rock beach, which in my opinion is one of the best beaches in Laguna. I would highly recommend this property for anyone planning on staying in Laguna. The beds are large and comfortable, kitchen has plenty of room and is up-dated, the outside sitting area is beautiful with a grill and large sitting area. Overall we had a great experience.

We traveled to So Cal for my Dad's memorial. It was my husband, I along with our 2 adult daughters & their families. We had a total of 8 including a 2, 3, & 7 year old. I had never booked a VRBO before & was a little apprehensive. This "cottage" was a dream come true. It was perfect for us. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Eating in the dining area with all the children was wonderful. There are 2 bdrms upstairs ea with their own bathroom. The master bedrm is HUGE. The kitchen was adequately supplied. Even had some children dishes. Downstairs which must be accessed from outside had a laundry rm which was wonderful to use when our 2 granddaughters completely soaked themselves in the beach waves & sand while wearing their cute little tutu dresses. This rm also had a pak-&-play for our 2 year old grandson that we put upstairs. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, a wagon, sand buckets & shovels. Oh, & a stroller. All of which we used & it was wonderful to have access to them. It definitely gave us the comforts of home away from home. In addition to the downstairs laundry room there are 2 bdrms & a bathrm which are separated from the laundry by a private door. Do remember that this area is only assessable from outside of the main house. My daughter, her husband, & the 2 granddaughters stayed down there. Richard, the owner, requested that no one under the age of 10 stay down there alone. I'm sure this is because the main doors open directly to the street (converted garage). There was a double bed & trundle bed in this area which was perfect for my daughter's family. There is no TV which was fine as this family does not allow TV & accesses their entertainment on their computers. Which, BTW, we all had great internet access at the house. There is only 1 TV in the house which isn't a big deal since you are having so much fun outside that the TV isn't an issue. It is set up to Wii which my oldest granddaughter loved. We did have trouble turning the TV on when we 1st arrived & the owner was over in a flash to help us. There were lots of children books & interesting toys to keep the kids entertained. The one thing that I noticed was how nice the neighborhood was. It was so quiet. Considering that it is a block from PCH when the doors were closed it was totally quiet. There is a water view from the livingrm. At 1st we were a little freaked out about the parking but once the owner explained where the public parking was we were fine. LOVED THIS!

We're happy we ended up renting this cottage instead of getting a hotel room. The cottage was very clean, easy to find and has a great feel. It is walking distance to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. It was just as described and Robert was very friendly, responsive and helpful. We would definitely rent again.

This is a super charming, comfortable house that feels nice and beachy, exactly what we were looking for. It really had everything we needed. Of course we loved the grill outside with the sitting area. We went to Laguna for a wedding, and spent a few days with our best friends and brother-in-law in the Laguna house. The house was perfect for this. We spent much time in the living room and outside lounging, enjoyed being with our friends and catching up. Lots, and lots of laughter! The house was large enough for the 3 couples. The beach is incredibly beautiful and quite dramatic, and the water was warm enough for swimming. The water was crystal clear. The Coyote Grill was our favorite local hangout. The house owner, Robert, is super reliable. Everything worked out perfectly. We'd love to come back any time.

Loved, loved, loved this beautiful cottage!! The location was great and we really enjoyed the outside seating area. The cottage was very clean and the beds were quite comfy. Robert was very helpful and friendly. 1000 steps beach is a must see and well worth the steep walk back up the stairs. We saw whales, dolphins and the most beautiful sunrises while we were there. Perfect "girls only" get-away!! Highly recommend this property

This is the best place ever! Went with our two very picky teenage daughters and they fell absolutely in love with the cottage. Once you get there you really don't need to get in your car again. (Haha! Depending on the length of your stay). There are great restaurants, fantastic beaches and amazing hill hikes all within walking distance. Easy to avoid the craziness of downtown Laguna. Robert was so accommodating getting the cottage ready for us on last minute notice. The cottage really is a little slice of heaven. We will definitely be back.
