Exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed close to everything, comfortable, and clean. Pillows are of a specific style, nice, but not my preference. Might consider bringing your own pillows if you’re picky like me. Would recommend to anyone!!!

The home was well kept and exactly as listed. Beth and Clark were so lovely to chat with and very helpful recommending local restaurants and things to do. We especially appreciated the books on the local history and all the maps and pamphlets from the redwood parks and area attractions. If we ever make it back to the area, we would love to stay here again!

Would I stay here again? Absolutely!! We spent 7 days exploring Northern California and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It doesn't get any better than a view of a working lighthouse from the upstairs bedroom! Spotless clean, conveniently close to the beach and Redwood NP (15 minutes from the front door) and situated in a very quiet neighborhood. The home is meticulously cared for and the homeowner kept in touch via email. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We will recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Crescent City.

We had a great stay! The cottage is in the perfect location. Great views out of the second floor. Beach access less than 2 minutes away, which was wonderful! It’s definitely worth the short walk on the beach to battery park lighthouse, especially when the lighthouse is open for tours. Check out Chart Room Restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, great views of the sea lions in the harbor. Paragon coffee is walking distance from the house and I enjoyed going there. Crescent city is such a lovely town! The redwoods are close and we recommend the Boy Scout trail.

We had a great time and was very close to the beach. Unfortunately the weathere completely cooperate so we were only able to walk on the beach a few times but the bedrooms and kitchen were great. We got soaked one day at the redwoods so really utilized the heater and spent most of our time up in tbe bedroom and sunroom, looking at the waves and lighthouse. Would definitely stay again

This house was a perfect fit for our long weekend on the coast to celebrate our boys’ birthdays. We enjoyed the location and proximity to everything we wanted to do and see. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Supberb beach access! The house was cozy and very well eqipped. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Games and puzzles available and lots of reading options. We especially enjoyed watching the crashing waves from the upstairs sunroom. It was a fantastic vacation for me and my husband.

The Lighthouse View Cottage was a wonderful place for us to use as a base for our redwood explorations. It provided breathtaking views of the wild surf that hit Northern CA the week we visited. It also came with a great soundtrack of waves and seabirds, especially from the second floor sitting room that overlooks the beach. The Cottage is well equipped and comfortable, within walking distance of the beach, the lighthouse, a local brew pub, and other places. We would happily stay there again.

Trying to get laundry and everything clean right before leaving is kind difficult would rather just have it be included in cleaning fee. Other then that the place is really nice and in a great location with fantastic views.

Amazing location directly across the street from beach access for exploring tide pools and beach combing. Loved watching the waves breaking through the kitchen window. And the lighthouse view is iconic

The location cannot be beat, especially if you're travelling with elementary/preschool age children and want to minimize time in the car to maximize fun. Trailheads in the Redwoods are only a short drive away and a fun beach for poking around tide pools and watching the waves is basically out the front door. The only downsides would be the upstairs bed was creaky and A/V technology was very dated/not working. I think it was fairly priced for what it is though. Just don't forget your own Bluetooth speaker and you'll be all set!

The view from the sunroom upstairs can't be beat! Very well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed! Location is perfect. We walked everywhere! Really enjoyed our visit!!

The house is cozy and very clean. The view of the lighthouse and ocean didn’t disappoint. Great beach for rock hunting and wandering(we had a sea lion join us)! Very close to grocery and activities with a fabulous sand beach 5 minutes away. A perfect location for the tree lovers as well as the water lovers!

House was clean, well stocked and maintained. Beth kept us informed about the redwoods fires 🔥 and the power outages. The week of August 16-23 was an Eventful one but we had a good time and would return.

Good-as expected

Our stay at Beth’s place in Crescent City was just what we were hoping for, for this vacation. It was so close to the Redwoods and we spent lots of time hiking, which we loved. The redwoods were just so beautiful- it was our first time seeing them. We got to walk to the beach numerous times, which is just up the street and less than a five minute walk. The views from the observation room were great-loved seeing the seals every morning and exploring the tide pools at low tide. Crescent City is a small town, but had everything we needed and the property was just great. We like cooking our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, and even some spices and other things that you need. There were also some great restaurants in town. Beth was a great communicator and responded quickly to any questions I had throughout the whole process. She also had a really comprehensive set of resources on site of things to explore in the area. Instructions for check in and check out were very clearly communicated. We would definitely love to return at some point in the future. What a great location and a great experience!

Great location! Great view. Close to all our favorite trails and quick trips to the beach. This house had a much better equipped kitchen than most of the ones we've stayed in over the years!! It's a great place! We'll be back if it's available during our next vaca.

We had such a relaxing stay at this house! The view of the lighthouse and the proximity to the beach where wonderful. I was also pleased with how close we were to the Redwoods. We were able to get to our hikes quickly, which is helpful with kids. The town has the amenities we needed (restaurants, grocery stores, even a movie theater) and it was easy to quickly navigate around town. We had a wonderful time in this house and we would definitely go back!

We loved the house. Close to the ocean, and close to the Lighthouse! Beds were comfy and the house was toasty warm in the wintery wet weather!

This house was perfect for our Crescent City stay. Clean, comfy, and yes, the upstairs view of the ocean and lighthouse was special. If you arrive during inclement weather there is a carport connected to the house so you can stay dry. Hiking in the redwoods is what we wanted and we were not disappointed. Thank you Beth.

Nice home close to beach with wonderful views.

Our first impression on walking in "how nice, it's so clean." The pictures showed the observation room but did not do it justice. The four of us LOVED that room. Several times a day (when we weren't out playing) we would end up there just gazing at the ever changing ocean. We liked to open the windows to feel the breeze and hear the ocean. The location is perfect. We loved the lighthouse , Pebble Beach Dr., Point St. George Lighthouse area and Enderts Beach. Hope to be back again.

My friend and I found it easy to find trails near by, lots of fishing in the area, and so very close to the giant redwood trees. A stone throw from the beach for picture perfect morning strolls.

We loved waking up to the beautiful lighthouse view each morning. The pantry is extremely well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. House is very clean and comfortable. It had been a very relaxing holiday vacation staying at this lovely house while exploring the majestic redwood forests and beaches, exactly what we had been hoping for. Looking forward to coming back and visiting again, probably during a warmer season.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The place was immaculate and well stocked. The view of the lighthouse is from the upstairs bedroom and sunroom, but we all sat up there each morning and enjoyed the view and our coffee. It was a very nice and comfortable stay. The neighborhood was quaint, and the house was very close to the beach. Safeway was a short drive away, as was SeaQuake Brewing (a must if you like craft beer and good food). We highly recommend the property!

Great spot. Clean home. Beach access is super convenient: I had a 15 minute break in an online conference I was attending, and was able to walk to the beach, spend 10 minutes, and get back for my next session. That was wonderful! My teen loved staying in the upstairs—there are great views of the lighthouse and ocean from there, and a little bit of privacy. Beth was great with communicating, too. Really wonderful experience!
