My wife and I enjoyed a short two night stay here. The place is small but lovely. Has everything you need. Nice sitting area for guest overlooking river, ducks and deer. Overall highly recommend this property. Great value.

Comfortable stay for our long weekend of cycling. Love location near everything and along the river. Had everything we needed and was very clean.

This cottage was lovely! Great location, roomy bedroom, efficient kitchen. Firepit and viewing deck were awesome. Owner responded very promptly to all of my inquiries. Would recommend to anyone interested in enjoying comfortable accommodations with the enjoyment of seeing deer, turtle, ducks, and more !

Needs updating and attention to detail. Needs a real table and chairs in the kitchen. Chairs that are comfortable. No chairs to sit in other than metal patio chairs. Needs new mattress on bed Clean good bathroom. Adequate kitchen. A lot of $ for the overall value

My daughter and I loved our stay while in Kerrville. The cute little house was perfect for our needs. It has been beautifully updated and the grounds/amenities was an added bonus! The location was amazing as well. Loved our stay. (Not a problem for us, but there are about 5 steps to go up in order to enter the property.)

Super cute place! Comfortable bed. LOVED the provided bikes and kayaks! Across the water (and along a short dirt path out your backyard) is a beautiful island with a great paved path for walking or biking to a popular swim hole area! It is so close! We also kayaked to it! H-E-B is 2 blocks away and for a longer stroll you can walk to the downtown area! We did one evening. There is a nature center across the street and you are right on the river trail (the paved path mentioned above) that goes for miles to your right or left. We explored that one day. You can’t hear your neighbors at all through the walls and at night we can’t hear the traffic on the road. They offer a box fan as well for extra cooling or white noise. Thought the AC works great and you don’t need it. Nice, big shower with good water pressure and hot water. Owners give you a detailed email of everything included in the rental. There are 3 different, VERY nice sitting areas on the river, so plenty of room to have your own space with other renters next door. This is a fantastic place!

Amazing. Perfect peaceful. Lots of deer and ducks. Pretty places to walk and bike ride. You can fish and kayak too with out leaving the parking lot

My boyfriend and I came to visit my family and this place was perfect for us. I felt like I was on vacation in my hometown! From the super comfortable bed, to the fire pit, to the water access, everything was so nice. We will definitely be staying here on our future trips to the hill country. The host was nice and fast responding as well! Highly recommend!

The property is well thought out and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for us to explore Kerrville. We visited with friends and made use of the outdoor seating areas; taking in lovely view with our fine conversation. Loved the access to the River Trail and the restaurants within walking distance. Another visit is in the works for Sunset Cottage. Thank you for a great stay.

What a wonderful cottage! Very clean, private and inviting. The outdoor amenities were enjoyable. We had friends join us around the gas firepit on the deck for a very nice evening. The area by the river and wood firepit was relaxing. The bed was amazingly comfortable, especially after a long workday. We definitely recommend this beautiful cottage!

We had a lovely stay in the Sunset Suite! The location is excellent for getting down to the river, accessing spots in Kerrville, or making jaunts out to Fredericksburg and other parts of the hill country. The unit is well appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. We loved the outdoor spaces and fire pits. It is next to a somewhat busy street so you can expect some road noise right on the front porch, but we didn't find this to be a bother at all. It's basically unnoticeable inside and just a few steps away on the patios. All in all a great weekend space.

This is a small VRBO that was just the perfect size for 2; we enjoyed kayaking and walking on the trail and the wildlife right out the back door. This is 1 of 3 sections of one property and the other guests were friendly and we all sat and chatted. On my stay again list if I am back in Kerrville.

We enjoyed having the walking trail along the Guadalupe River so close. Provided easy access to the park and restaurants.

Loved the natural setting and convenient location for walking along the river and shopping. SUPER comfortable bed!

Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the outdoor firepit at night surrounded by tons of deer. Enjoyed fireplace in mornings while drinking coffee.

We really enjoyed our short weekend stay. Kerrville is very charming and the property was cozy. The weather turned on us so we didn't get to take advantage of all the outdoor seating by the river, but the fireplace inside make up for our loss. Would most definitely recommend.

Property was very clean & comfortable . propane tank & bug candles were empty ,should be checked more often .Property has nice view of the river.

We loved this property so much. The river, the care that went into the unit, the exterior areas to relax in, everything was amazing. I would stay here again (and again) when visiting Kerrville. I loved this property so much, plus seeing the deer down by the river was so cool.

We had a delightful stay in this cottage! The kitchen was well appointed, allowing us to easily prepare most meals to keep costs down. The shower was hot, and the bed was comfy. Great deck area to unwind and enjoy the fire. We met JT and had a great chatbwith him. Very friendly host! Would absolutely stay here again.

We recommend this spot. Hoping to make a return visit. We needed a quite weekend getaway to just relax and it was the perfect spot. We enjoyed meeting the owners. Very sweet couple.

This place was great. The room was clean and the location was incredible. We walked everywhere we needed to go and spent a lot of time relaxing to get away of the hustle and bustle of the big city. Wonderful property.

The cabin was perfectly located near downtown and the entrance to the walking path and ev charging location (in the park across the street. The cabin was well appointed, very clean and well stocked. Everything worked perfectly. We were thankful for the nest activated A/C and box fans (for sleeping and some early morning traffic noise). The out door seating areas, fire pits and ability to kayak with direct access to the river were appreciated. We would stay here again in the future.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage . Owners have done an excellent job remodeling this cottage overlooking the Guadalupe . Three different outside concrete sitting areas to watch the deer ,ducks and squirrels. Owners are awesome! We will be back!

Well kept and maintained cottage by the river. Clean. Had everything we needed including kayaks with life vests with easy river access. Great outdoor spaces with fire pits and great views of the river. Comfortable king-size bed, well-stocked kitchen, strong wi-fi. Short walk to downtown, HEB and nearby nature center. We were made aware of close proximity to busy road. Definitely need white noise or fan. Would recommend for a nice weekend getaway.

The property was very well kept and the cottage updated. The proximity to the rest of downtown is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and responsive!
